fantastic central location for Nottinghams night life -especially the Lace Market area . Friendly (except the night porter !! ) efficient staff , great breakfast choice - all in all excellent value for money - rooms quite basic but clean and comfy beds - what more do you want ?!Only down side - the bar shuts early so no chance of a late night drink when you get in, which is a shame, we really wanted to carry on !

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in by far and doesn't even warrant 1 star let alone 3. The decor is shabby and dated and the room was awful...peeling paper, damp patches on the ceiling, dated dirty shower cubicle, non-working trouser press which fell off the wall with one touch. The whole place needs major work inside and out. The only plus point was that the staff were pleasant and helpful. Wouldn't stay again even if it was for free.

hotel was a little run down and shabby, room was clean and well equipped. well located in centre of town but very noisy during the night and early morning. i have stayed in this hotel previously as it is so reasonably priced and well located but do not think i would stay again.

cheap and cheerfulThe room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, but the hotel looked a bit scruffy and run down and in need of basic renovation. Staff sat around and chatted in the breakfast room whilst guests came in - seemed really sloppy and lacking care.

I did not stay at this hotel as it was at a most shabby state and run down. I would be fearful of staying in this hotel and I think it should be closed down. I looked at the accommodation before deciding whether to stay or not and was totally shocked by the state of it. The reception staff were quite annoyed that i withdrew from staying there.

The hotel is in a terrible state it needs completely gutting and major structural repairs but it is in a very convenient spot for the centre of Nottingham. Car parking a few hundrew yards away is £10 per day

This hotel is quite definetly the worst I have ever experienced on business. The room was dirty, smelly and the whole building about 25 years overdue for refurbishment.There wa sno service at breakfast and I did not use the restaurant for dinner.The old metal windows would not shut properly and I was kept awake by customers of local hostelries out on the pavement.

this is a hotel which is close to the student nightlife, so is not for anyone wanting an early night, i found the hotel good value for money, reasonably clean, and with friendly staff. Well situated for nightlife/shopping.

The hotel is situated across the road from a very noisy pub which stays open until 1.00 pm. The accommodation was something to be desired. NO HOT WATER on arrival. Had to wait one hour for this. The following morning I was unable to bathe as once again there was no hot water. They put us in a room with a low ceiling, despite the fact that my husband is 6foot 4inch. The bathroom looked tired.
