Free shuttle service is a great benefit, since most that are by the ocean don't offer. Also Dania beach and Hollywood Broadwalk are both a quick drive. The breakfast is better than most hotels, much more than what you get from those "bed and breakfast" motels located on the ocean. I liked that it was very close to the freeway and the airport and beaches. We got a great price and would highly recommend this hotel. You may want to rent a car, but with free parking and being close to most everything, it's worth getting one.

Despite the lack of TV guide and the skimpy free breakfast in the cramped breakfast room (with plenty of poolside tables for eating, however)--but hey it's free!, the room was comfortable, clean and most importantly, virtually soundproof. if you are doing business in Ft. Lauderdale or Miami, the location is ideal, 10 minutes from Ft. lauderdale/Oakland Park and, without rush hour traffic, only 25 minutes from Miami. Great two minutes on and off from I-95 and about 5 from the airport. Fast food and shopping center walking distance away.

The hotel was close to the airport and offered a free shuttle. I usually don't like rooms where my door is accessed from the outside. However, nothing about this facility left me feeling unsafe. Good lay over location when needing a night between flights. Price is reasonable and staff were friendly,.

For an older property it was clean and functional. Noise level age of facility and general maintaince. We were not impressed with this hotel.

Loved the pool area and abundant landscaping - very Floridian! Continental breakfast ran out of food by the time we got there at 9:30. Great location. Loved free transportation from airport and to cruise ship the next day. Was also offered transportation arrangements to airport when we returned from cruise. Convenient bar and barbecue grill in pool area - good food and fast service. Clean room with new bedspreads and comfortable beds. We'll be back!

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Renovations, key cards not working. Great for staying just one night before or after going on a cruise. Very nice pool/lounge area, great and fresh selection for the continental breakfast. Fantastic free shuttle service from the cruise ship and to the airport. Friendliest staff I've ever encountered.

This hotel was nicely priced and very convenient! If you are planning a cruise this is the hotel to stay. They provide transportation to the FT. Lauderdale Port. Also it is located right beside Taco Bell and there is a huge shopping area with plenty of stores like Kmart and Marshalls... So if you realized you forgot your lotion, sun block, soap, bathing suit flip flops, etc. You can pic up what you need and go. There is also wifi connection, a pool, and they have a very small business center where u can go and use the computer and also print out any information you may need.

This hotel was very convenient to the cruise port and offered a free shuttle to the cruise port and pick-up after the cruise was over for a minimal fee. The staff was friendly and check-in was speedy. It was close to shopping and eateries. Rooms were nice even though previous reviews stated otherwise. I'd stay here again.

There are a few things we found satisfactory, such as the proximity to the airport and availabiity of internet use, however, out of everything that makes a stay away from home enjoyable cleanliness is number one. The room had not been thoroughly vacuumed and remnants from past guests were visible. The areas by the elevator were strewn with trash. Due to the openness of the structure perhaps it requires that it be gone over at least two, three times a day to prevent it from looking down right filthy.

Walking distance to a couple of stores. Called to be picked up from airport - told 15-20 minutes. Took over 50 minutes for them to come. The main clientele of the hotel are folks coming a day early before their cruise.

Close to the cruise port. Indifferent to rude attitude of the front desk and having to pay $2 fornot using the safe. Good hotel for travel to/from a cruise trip. The hotel staff is quite pathetic though (indifferent to almost rude). Also, what is the purpose of charging $2 for the safe - even when you don't use it.
