Although checkout time was 11.30, we were disturbed by cleaners at 10:00, 10:30, 10:45, 11:00 and so on until we checked out on time at 11:30 - a lie-in would have been nice

1. Although the address is South Lambeth Road, it was not convenient to the location which I wanted in Lambeth.2. There were beds piled up in the corridor on the way to my room and the corridor was in semi-darkness.3. The room was on the ground floor at the front and so there was a lot of traffic noise throughout the night.4. There was no heat in the room when I arrived, although it did heat up pretty quickly once I found out how to operate the heater.5. Although I had booked a single room, I got one with a double bed, a single bed and a bed settee.6. The television had no relote control.

I did get put in a room on the ground floor with a sash window without a lock on it, I asked to move, the guy said it was ok because the window opened onto an internal corridor this was not a comfort to me as I was a lone woman and have had an intruder in my room before (In Manchester) the guy moved me and everything else was fine, for £29 it was ace!

All good - room was perfect for what I needed which was a last minute overnight stay in London, close to my office. Bargain at £41. Only moan is about the bathroom - the shower was great, lots of hot water etc and all very clean. However the fact that the shower had no curtain or glass between it and the door meant that the carpet in the room got soaked with water as it seeped through the door frame.

This is a basic hotel whic is perfectly adequate for one nights stay. The room was basic, clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a strange prefabricated pod type affair, but again it was functional. I was disappointed with the breakfast. All-in-all, considering the location it was good value for money, but i wouldn't like to stay more than a night or two.

The hotel was undergoing some refurblishment work but it did not disrupt our stay. However I feel the restuarant could have offered more variety during breakfast.

good valuespent one night with husband, teenage son and older daught. Smallish room for 4 of us but v clean. Breakfast simple but efficient. Ate at Portuguese restaurant 30 seconds from door. Go out turn left, and it's on the corner opposite. Lovely fresh food.

Value for MoneyUpon arriving at the hotel the receptionist was very friendly, efficient and helpful. Room was basic but modern, clean and tidy. A 5-10 minute walk from Vauxhall tube station. Great base for visiting friends in London and sightseeing. A room on the main road may be too noisy for some but after a few cold ones it wasn't a problem! Would definitely stay again as brilliant value for money with very pleasant staff

Booked a family room and it was (for London) spacious. Also the room was clean and comfortable. Would definately recommend for families, I was working though and not that suitable for business as no Wifi. Breakfast cheap with kids free, but was basic. Quite a walk from the underground with little ones, but all in all good value for the money.

I simply wanted a user friendly room with clean and roomy space. This hotel delivered in full and exceeded my expectations - good room to work, plenty lighting, roomy bathroom - highly recommended. Ten minutes walk from tube station at Victoria.

Not quite as close to Vauxhall underground as anticipated and it took a little while to find (though easy once we located the road). Clean, comfortable and efficiently run hotel. Room facing road but set back so very quiet (other than some mechanical services noise). 5 minutes from the Thames so ideal for a pleasant walk into the heart of London.

Clean, modern hotel. Excellent position for our needs. Helpful friendly staff. Bit cramped when having breakfast, cafe area not very big. Other than that, very good experience. Would stay there again and would recommend others to.

At the right rate this Hotel is excellent. As many others have pointed out it's actually a Comfort Inn and I guess the name variation is to justify selling rooms cheap. Make sure that the Hotel has your booking at the 'Late Rooms' rate before you check in. I booked on line on a Sunday about 4pm and when I checked in at 8.30pm the Hotel had no record of my booking and could not offer me the 'Late Rooms' rate without a Fax or e-mail from their agent, the booking reference means nothing without this. Luckily I had the number of the Late Rooms agent with me and they faxed the paperwork straight away once I called them but if you arrive out of hours etc. you could end up paying over £100 for a night so beware!

We needed a hotel near Brixton Academy which made it good for this purpose, it was close to a bus stop which took us to the Academy. The name of the hotel is actually part of a Comfort Inn so keep a look out for the place. It's about 10 mins walk from Waterloo although it's misleading as to how to get to South Lambert Road - asking people doesn't always help! The hotel room was adequate although the bed was very uncomfortable and we had a bad sleep. The shower is very small but at least the pressure and the heat is good.
