The award winning Comfort Suites at Biltmore Mall and Estate has been fully remodeled in 2008 offering whirlpool suites. Hotel offers discount Biltmore Estate tickets and free full hot breakfast with sausage, eggs, biscuits/gravy, hot waffles and more. Many fine restaurants and lounges on site. "The Biltmore Comfort Suites was convenient for shopping (a mall was across the parking lot, we walked to it) and very good places to eat. The breakfast at the hotel was the best of its kind I've ever had for variety. Animals were allowed on the first floor, but not above that. The whole ist floor was booked with dog owners, but they didn't bother us at all. The hotel staff was very helpful and accomidating. WE would stay there again."

Very poor soundproofing - could hear conversations in hallway and noise from nearby rooms. The hotel was a disappointment. Small one room suites, small bath, small beds, cheap curtains. Noise was a problem from both people passing in the hallway as well as activities in nearby rooms. Overall sense of poorer quality than expected.

Desk staff was very helpful and friendly. More basic. I'd describe this hotel as overall very good. It's not as nice as the newer chains, but it was a very good place to stay for the price, clean and acceptable in every way. I would describe it as excellent basic.

Found used coffee cup under one bed. Whole hotel had a musty/stale smell throughout. It appears, at least at this particular Comfort Suites, that cleanliness and house keeping are not high on the list.

The carpet and the beds was very soft. It said pet friendly but, it really meant pets under 20 lbs. Very nice staff. We enjoyed our stay.

In my mind a suite is a combination of 2 or more rooms (not counting the bathroom) that involves a "living area" and "sleeping area" separated from each other, usually by a door. I got here and found two beds, an uncomfortable 6' sleeper sofa, one desk chair (not a lounge chair), desk and a small coffee table in a room only slightly larger than a usual standard room. I asked the clerk and was told that what I have is precisely a suite and all their "suites" are like that. So if you want a SUITE or you want something comfortable to sit in, you don't want Comfort Suites. I consider my self tolerant and will cope with most anything, but I will NOT stay here again.

This hotel is great! Hotel is fully remodeled and sleeps up to 5 in a room, making it cheaper for families of five to just buy one room. Every part of the hotel has been updated and it shows! The hotel also sells discounted tickets to Biltmore, which is only 5 miles away and that saved us more money, and finally the full free hot breakfast was not only delicious but is saved us money as well. Overall, this is one of my all time favorite places to stay, and I would recommend it as it is reasonably price and offers value to the extreme..

The a/c in the room was filthy with dirt piled up on the air outlet. I asked 4 times (I stayed 4 nghts) that it be cleaned and it never was. Some of the front desk staff was exceptionally rude and the manager never contacted as promised. The corporate customer service said all of their hotels are independently owned and cannot be control by the corporate rules. To top it off, the manger wrote me a letter defending the hotel ! I travel every week but, if possible, will never again stay at a Choice Hotels brand hotel.

Easy to find and good breakfast. no uniforms for employees Convenient location for quick stays but very practical even for long term stay providing microwave, frig, and coffee maker. Friendly, helpful and informative staff.

The hotel was right beside the mall. There was also a few resturants beside it which was great. We were 10 minutes away from the Biltmore House.

The hotel was clean and in a great location. Nice, clean hotel in a good location. Shopping mall next door, as well as several restaurants. Staff was very friendly and polite.

The comfortable bed and the great breakfast, also the comfortable desk and chair. Bathroom sink area was a little small. What a great find, I am fussy about my bed comfort and this one was great, about as comfortable as mine at home. I was also pleased with the wireless internet and the desk area varies nice and practical with the table rolling out to work on.

"Hotel room was very dirty, sink did not work, shower had brown plaster patches and dirt, sheets did not fit bed and had holes in it. Not a good experience!!!!!"
