The lady who served us when we checked in was very welcoming and helped us with questions. The room was great in terms of location and cleanliness. It was very small so we wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than a night or 2. We were unable to turn the radiator off, which meant the room was far too hot overnight. We reported this using the form in the room. It was looked at by the receptionist at checkout, but no comment or apology was made, which was disappointing.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location was great. It was only about a block away from a subway station, and a few minutes ride from oxford circus and marble arch. The entire month stay was a very pleasant experience.

We stayed in Corus Hotel from June 29th through July 3rd, 2009. It was a wonderful experience. I had an impression after reading all the reviews that the hotel room will be very tiny. To my surprise our room was quite large with two twin beds and room for our luggage and the bathroom was very convinient. We stayed there 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The price also included hot English breakfast, which was excellent. When we purchaced from Travelocity, we got a very good deal on the hotel room. I looked up the same hotel in Expedia and they were charging $100 more for the same room without breakfast.I highly recommend this hotel.

Room was extremely small for two people (one was 6 foot four} both bath/shower and basin drained extremely slowly and you were left standing in 6 inches of soapy water at the end of each shower, basin did the same and when we complained the mtce removed the entire stopper system from the basin to improve(left the drain system lying on the basin) no work done on the bath. We assumed the room was airconditioned this consisted of a one foot fan mounted on the wall had to keep the window propped up with hotel "cup" be prepared for high cost of dining continental breakfast was $15 each Make sure that you aquire a room at the rear of the hotel as the nights are full of sirens running past will not return

Good, clean, cheap place to stay in London. However the windows did not open and it was stuffy. Also with all the lights turned off the room was still very bright with silly night lights you could not turn off.

Took an exec room on the 8th. So much better than one i'd had on the 10th floor. Worth the extra money to upgrade, was a fairly big room for a London Hotel, well outside of the premium rooms at the 5 star hotels. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. So easy to get to from Lancaster Gate staying here is a no brainer.

We were suprised at how small the room was.Absolutely delighted with the level of customer service and the quality of the staff. Congratulations to all involved. Despite being told we were to have a nice room, as there was a chance of using for my company function, the room was tiny and therefore I could not consider it for further visits.

Very good ValueStandard room was very very small but a really nice Polish receptionist (was the star of our stay) upgraded us to an executive room which was much bigger. The former had flat screen TV and iron board but latter had neither. Bathrooms in both small. Full breakfast for a buffet was good and recommend you try. Concierge recommended an oriental restaurant in Sussex Square – very good especially the Pinot Grigio wine. Stayed on a £ night break and was very good value for money overall.

Room was very small, and I thought it was over priced for what you got, but maybe that the price for London Hotels. RIP OFF London!!!

The hotel is in an excellent location - very close to a tube stop which made getting around London very easy. We stayed at the hotel at the beginning of our trip, and at the end - only because of being offered an upgrade if we returned. Our 1st room was VERY small - even smaller than on any cruise ship we've ever been on. Our upgradedroom at the end of the of our trip was much better and I'd compare it to what you'd expect at a Holiday Inn or hotel of that type in the US. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and polite. Because we didn't spend much time in our room, even the small one was adequate, but beware when booking that the standard room is very small.
