Room layout and furnishings. Unhelpful staff. Overall nice hotel. Good location for my trip requirements. Recommended.

The whole hotel needs more work to update itself. Not a great place to stay more then a night. This hotel seemed like it really need some updating. Something's where updated like the bedding, but it just seemed old and dirty. It also needed more light throughout the lobby (this is just an afterthought on the light). Just not an over all great stay. They also do not have wireless :(.

Very helpful staff. Girl at front desk gave us directions to hotel over cell phone when we got lost. Very nice, upscale hotel, with an excellent staff. Very close proximity to the heart of the Old Town Alexandria area. Courtesy van is available for travel to and from Old Town.

The location was excellent. Very close to a metro station and they had a shuttle to the station. The restaurant was closed on the weekend but the shuttle took me to a nearby area with several restaurants---I ate at Ruby Tuesday's. I was disappointed that there wasn't a free Continental breakfast---breakfast was expensive.They provided a refrigerator when I requested it. I had a hard time figuring out how to change the room temperature. There was only one thin blanket on the bed but they gave me an extra to use at night.

NO SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT. YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE METRO AND ONLY THEN THEY WE PICK YOU UP. THE BREAKFAST IS OVER PRICE AND THERE IS NO POOL.

WiFi in rooms. Poor shuttle service, doesn't start until 6:30 am, stops by 10:30 pm. Difficult to catch early flights. We wasted quite a bit of time driving around trying to find it. The hotel and room were fine but shuttle service was not very helpful. When we needed a morning shuttle (with our luggage) to get to the airport for an 8 am flight, we were told the shuttle wasn't running yet. When we asked for a shuttle to bring us back from dinner, we were told the shuttle had stopped running for the evening.

The name Marriott and room was clean. Lights were missing; no pool; limited channels on TV. The stay was okay, I had a problem with my room card three times it appeared to be deactivated. The staff was nice and friendly, but it was just inconvenient. Breakfast was quite expense and two lights/lamps had shorts in them. Free internet was nice. Two minutes away from the movie theatre.
