The gym was very nice compared to many othe hotels I've stayed at. The hotel was in a good area even though there was construction going on outside. I liked the gym at the Courtyard, it was brand new with a lot of equipment, a pool and Jacuzzi. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Clean, easy to find location. Would perfer location a little closer to subway system. This is a good place to stay if you don't mind learning how to use the subway system. I felt safe and comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable. The view was nice. The jacuzzi, pool and gym were a plus. My only complaint is that the toilet paper was difficult to reach. I had heard negative things about inexpensive rooms in New York City, but this hotel and room were well above my expectations. In order to get around, we just caught a Metro bus at the end of the block. The rooms were roomy and well equipped. Ours even had a nice view of the East River.

For a 4 day romantic NYC getaway, this hotel had all the conveniences, class, polish, and cleanliness--nothing distracting about the hotel to spoil the fun. The rooms were spotless, mattresses firm (wink wink), view of city lights and moonmbeams, no noise from neighboring rooms or halls. The "92nd St Cafe" on the first floor was terrific NYC diner food complete with sassy, funny wait staff, cooks who responded to "rapido" to get your meal ready, and strong delicious hot coffee to clean the late night cobwebs. The grocery and deli on the corner of 1st Avenue had an amazing selection of fresh produce, counter eats, desserts and all needed food items. There are 2 subway stops on Lexington at 86th and 96th which are a quick, safe 8 block walk to catch the 4, 5, and 6 trains to Midtown and Downtown or the Bronx. We had no problem getting a cab or town car. The check in staff never seemed overwhelmed or too busy to be exceptionally helpful. The hotel staff would stamp and mail my postcards and bill my room tab. Carpets were clean, bathrooms spotless in rooms and common areas. Great value and amenities and cleanliness for the room price in an otherwise expensive city. Few minuses: the ice maker is only on the lower lobby level; no room service (although there are 2 24 hour delis within a block).

Free internet. Would not allow late check out. This really was Upper East Side. It wasn't bad, but traveling by subway/walking late at night by myself it started to feel a little isolated. Room was small, but for NY, typical. Everything was clean. For one night it was fine. They did have free internet, which was nice.

This was a nice Hotel on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Good value/price for NYC. Easy to get to from LGA. Close to city Bus line, subway nearby at 86 and Lex. Great neighborhood - close to Museum mile, Central Park, lots of great restaurants.Room was nice size - King size bed, sitting chair, desk and chair, closet/armoire - bigger than other NYC hotels, but smaller than typical midwest hotelHotel was clean, Staff was freindly - No wow factor from HotelVery nice workout facility for hotel - 4-5 treadmills, 2 elliptical, 2 bikes, nautilus, free wedights, steam, sauna, whirlpool, lap pool.Free internet connection - easy access from room and business center. Able to coonect to job using VPNMaid service was Ok - need to make sure to cover little details - empty trash every day, replenish soaps/shampoos every day, etc...On checkout day left baggage with bellman for 4-6 hours before returning and leaving for airport. Nice to not have to drag bags through NYC.

Safe location, clean room, staff was very friendly & provided a two bed room for no additional cost. The bellmen/porters were friendly and helpful. A little far from the subway line. Would definitely stay here again. My friends and I really liked the neighbourhood the hotel was in, with lots of little diners in the area for breakfast and a pleasant walk away from some great attractions. It felt safe and the room was clean and spacious.

The staff was very helpful. Wish it had a good bar. I cannot say enough about how kind everyone was here. The man who took our bags for us saw we had cold beers and brought us a free mini-fridge himself. We got a complementary breakfast from the staff as well (which was really great food, recommended) and the room was very big by NYC standards. Everything about our stay was better thanI could have asked for.

Nice gym area and overall clean. Construction nearby made the water brown and could not bathe or drink water. Overall it was a fine hotel. Nothing really wowed us, but we were not disappointed either. My only concern was out of the scope of the hotel, local construction made the water very brown, and made bathing, and drinking from hotel impossible.

Check in and out was easy.Stylish and clean.Friendly service. Quiet.Out of this world mattress and pillows. Use the parking and take taxi's it's the easiest and cheaper! Wonderful hotel, worth every penny!

We went for girls weekend to see a show and search for a great hotel and we found it. From check-in to check-out staff was exceptional. Room was great. Location was away from congested city streets and traffic. Within walking distance to Central Park but we did utilize taxi service quite often - from Time Square/Broadway back to hotel $10-13 ride. We would most certainly stay again. We also drove in and they parked our car. Although most would say $40 a day expensive we found not having to ride around the city to find a parking garage okay with us. Also liked the fact smoke-free campus.

Hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable and had enough space for three adults. The neighborhood was safe. There are great italian restaurants within 3 to 5 blocks , The Lex and Osso Bucco. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional ,and willing to do whatever was needed to accomodate. Great attitudes, was a pleasure to stay at this hotel.

Fairly newly renovated. Security is good. Neighborhood is fine. Excellent if you need to rent a car - Hertz and Avis in easy walking distance, and parking garage 50 yards away at $20/day. Getting a cab or town car to LGA was no problem. Complimentary breakfast (pastries and coffee,basically) could stand to improve, but hey it's free and it's Manhattan, right? Would definitely stay there again.

The staff was friendly, room was clean and I had a nice view. Night staff act like they were afraid and had doors locked after we went to store and came right back. I would stay at this hotel again , I had a good stay.
