I am pleased to have the opportunity to leave feedback on this hotel. Being a 'Holiday Inn' I was expecting a high standard of service and value for money. At first our room seemed very pleasant. This was until the evening, when we were greeted by a large number of bed bugs! When alerting reception to this, they assured they would send someone to our room. After waiting 20 minutes I made a second call and explained that I was collecting a sample in a plastic beaker, one of which we i had found in our childs bed. I had a very quick response from reception and they did change our room. We were upgraded to one of their fully refurbished rooms. I am aware that bed bugs are an ever increasing problem, however, it was reception that identified them as bed bugs and not us. They are obviously aware there is a problem. I recently stayed in London for £38 B&B- there was a lot less wildlife!!

attending wembley ArenaLive in Norfolk, walked the dog, left sunny Norfolk at 12.30 arrived at Ealing 3.00. hopped on tube to Oxford Street, mooched had tapas for Dinner, tubed to Wembley to see the most amazing concert by Elbow. Back to Hotel, spotless comfortable, breakfast on till 11.30 and it was fantastic, all for £75 + 10 parking. Worth every penny!!!! I recommend it to anyone traveling to a concert at Wembley.

Very good hotel for a break in London if you want to avoid Central London prices. Good rates via Late Rooms. Clean and spacious rooms. Ideally placed next to underground station, though not much of interest in vicinity (unless you like watching cars speeding round a massive roundabout!).Only downside was having left an item behind, I phoned and confirmed that the housekeeping had found it, and told them I would come to pick it up the following day. When I returned the next day to pick it up, it took over half an hour for the staff to find it.

For a 4 Star Hotel, the service was atrocious.I had travelled down by train, eventually getting to the hotel by 2130. Twice, I tried to call room service to order something to eat, each time it rang out until reception picked up, transferred the call only for it to ring out again - I ended up walking round to a newsagents to stock up.The room was small, and barring an executive style chair, indifferently appointed with cheap bedding.Breakfast would also have been better avoided: Bacon was passable, sausages were bland, scrambled egg was the consistency of runny porridge - the mushrooms were ok, but that was about it. I also had to go chasing after staff to get a spoon and milk for my tea.Regardless of the the price paid, this was a very poor stay, for well into 3 figures I dare say you could find a dozen better experiences within walking distance.

Better choice than inner LondonNew hotel on the North Circular. We chose it to avoid the ridiculous inner London hotel prices. Underground station very close. New feel to the rooms, which we liked. Difficult to find by road the first time you go there - entrance is on the roundabout at A40 (don't go down the underpass)! Only reservation is that I think even hotels in these locations are overpriced. Try the Iraqi restaurant next door, but take cash.

Crown Plaza Hanger LaneExcellent location, 2 minutes walk from hanger lane tube with central line access into the city.We had a standard double room which provided good quality accommodation, decent size, clean, comfortable with good bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Did not have dinner at the hotel but they have a good restaurant with excellent menu fro those wanting to eat in. The staff were friendly and very efficient and at £85 for B&B it was excellent value for money. The additional £10/night for parking is good value and makes for easy access back on the north circular to the M1 for travel back to the north. We stay in Ealing quite a bit and have previously used the Ramada at Ealing Common. The Crown Plaza provides a great alternative and we will use it again. No real downside to the hotel - perhaps the location as it is not as well placed for a quick and easy walk into ealing, but that is only a monor consideration which may not impact on the majority of travellers.

Nice enough hotel. They couldn't initially find my booking but this was quickly sorted. There is some work going on in the hotel so the restaurant wasn't up too much but the buffet breakfast was good enough. Paid average money for an average hotel, I would stay here again and recommend to friends. There is (limited) parking and its a reasonable £6.50 per day if you are a hote resident.

Easter StayWe actually got off to a bad start as the entrance to the hotel is not well sign posted and we missed the entrance - speaking to another couple they did the same. Our room was really lovely - nothing had been skimped on when it had been refurbished. Breakfast was great - no long queues - food nice and hot and a good choice. The Chef even cooked fried eggs to order so no cold eggs lying around. The area around the hotel is pretty much somewhere to avoid but the tube station is practically outside the hotel door. We had a lovely stay and will be returning.

As a business man a trouser press in the room would have been good, however the room only had an ironing board. The electronic key had to be re-programed due to loss of function, not much fun having to return to reception each time.Apart from the above the hotel room was extremely comfortable, subject to the price being reasonable I would stay there again.

Charged £10 to park on the hotel car park but they also gave me a pass to leave my car the following day so that we could go into London. Tube station across the road, ideal location for that.

Great location next to the tube, also not far from Wembley if your up for the football.Parking facilities were very useful and plenty of them as well, which in London is not bad, even though it is £6.95, a bargin for London.

Pretty Much as Expected for a Crowne PlazaIt was just somewhere to sleep really - got in late and left after breakfast. Everything worked and the beds in the twin room were good. Air conditioning worked OK.Only negative point - no hair conditioner supplied! But I can forgive them that.Only stayed because of the Laterooms deal though (£89 for the room B&B for two) - wouldn't pay the full room rate.

Breakfast was awesome, room was large and modernStayed for 1 night here, the room was lovely, big and modern (dissapointed there was no flat screen tv or dvd player but think maybe i have just been spoilt in a previous hotel!). The bed was soft and bathroom clean. Had room service for 2 sandwiches and chips - the food wasn't very good and was small portions considering the price although it arrived quickly and was warm. The breakfast the next day was perfect - although i would advise people to have the fried eggs not scrambled! All in all a great stay. Oh and brilliant for getting in and out of town. We were at a concert at the o2 late and still managed to get back using the tube.

I found this hote to be top class. The room was really nice. The quilt and pillows nearly came home with me..There was a good gym and the fitness instructor (Tom) was very helpful.I ordered dinner one evening which was alright, but the breakfasts were really nice. Fresh orange juice and fruit bowls followed by a bit of nearly everything..I'm obiesed after it. Maybe I should have given it a five then..?!>>.

if you are needing a hotel near wembleyoverlooked as its expensive comparred to the cheaper budget hotels nearby - BUT well worth paying a bit more. Its right on Hanger Lane junction and not too well signposted for the car park, but once in its good and surprisingly quiet. If you stay in a superior room( extra £35-£40 but this gives you access to the lounge with free bar and nibbles !Taxi to Wembley stadium costs £16-£20 and if you need food after hours the friendly staff will order a pizza in for you !Bar closes early at 1a.mBreakfast was very good and very fresh.

On arrival during check in, we were given our room card, but when we went to the room, it was not what we had requested, so we went back to reception to get the room we had actually booked, however the lady dealing with us was extremley rude and made out that i was lying and the room she had given us was what we had actually booked. When i presented my confirmation to her, she realised she had made the mistake but was unable to correct it, so we had to have the room she initally allocated to us. However the room we stayed in was a very nice room, it was clean and i was extremley pleased with it. When going to the bar, the service was terrible as i was asked \"are you even staying at this hotel?\". On checkout i was told i had a few room charges which i was aware off as i had purchased a few non alcoholic drinks from the bar, but the lady at reception asked me for £48 and i was sure that was not the total for the 5 drinks i had purchased. When i asked her what the £48 was for, she told me i had ate beef meals at the bar and purchased 3 bottles of alcoholic beverages. I was shocked at this as we had purchased nothing of the sort, i made it clear to the lady there had been some mistake and she still asked me to pay for this and they would refund me later. Yeah like i would fall for that, so i told her i refused to pay for somebody else's purchases, i then had to wait an extra half an hour for the problem to be sorted, i received no apology either. Overall rooms were beautiful, bar was beautiful but the service was absolutley rubbish! would not stay here again, I paid £140 for 1 night and would expect better service than what i recieved.

Really pleasantly surprisedBooked our room through Laterooms.com and arrives early on friday afternoon. Very easy to find, directly on the Hangar Lane gyratory. Don't let that put you off though, because the instant we were through the doors we heard no traffic noise at all.Transport links were good both by road and by tube. we were going to a concert at Wembley (Park Royal to Rayners Lane, then straight to Wembley Park)The area isn't very salubrious, it has to be said, but the hotel was top class! The room was lovely, very spacious and well presented with excellent air conditioning, thank God! Because it was 30 degrees outside! The bed was very comfy, with lovely bed linen. Bathroom was great too.All in all it was a great hotel for a very reasonable price and we're thinking of going back as soon as we have a free weekend, so that says it all.

Pretty decent place, very well located for Central Line, Wembley stadium and Ealing and with free parking. Service generally good with mainly helpful staff, although getting a table for breakfast on one day was not exactly stress-free: it was at least a decent breakfast. Slightly worn feel, but very clean rooms which, despite overlooking the Hanger Lane gyratory, were very quiet due to triple glazing. Would stay again as 3-bed family room was decent value.

The whole Hotel was undergoing major refurbishment but the noise was contained and inconvenience to clients minimised. Our room had been very recently completely upgraded, was extremely comfortable and we were highly satisfied overall. Because of ongoing work in the restaurant meals were taken in a temporary dining room which diminished the eating experience - but given the circumstances this was unavoidable. The quality of the breakfast offered was good.

Was visiting a friend in Ealing and needed overnight accommodationThis hotel is situated on the main A40 route into London and is on a busy junction right opposite Hangar Lane tube station. There is limited parking at the front and rear of the hotel and this costs an additional £10. WiFi is NOT complimentary (expect to pay about £15 per day). I had a reasonable nights sleep, my room being about what you expect with this category of hotel. My experience was OK until I went down for breakfast. There were limited staff and hence myself and 2 other groups were made to wait 10 minutes to be seated. I guess due to poor staff training there were no tables prepared, despite there being about 30 tables vacant. When finally seated no-one could be bothered to come to my table to take my order for coffee and toast so i had to go without. The buffet breakfast was atrocious. They had failed to replenish the food (no bacon, beans, sausages. The remainder was luke warm and swimming in grease. The orange juice had run out and they had failed to replenish to breakfast bowls. My advice to customers would be to stay here only if you are on a diet o in a hurry such that you don't have time for breakfast! I complained at reception when I checked out and he receptionist didn't seem to care. Draw your own conclusions but my personal opinion is that they get enough trade due to their prime location and hence don't make the effort to provide a good service that will win them repeat customers.

Excellent ServiceI'd read the other reviews and decided this was going to be fine for us. We were going to a theatre in the evening and knew we'd have a longer than normal tube journey to make but it was well worth it. The staff, food, accommodation and service was excellent. All credit to them. They even bailed me out when I cocked up the laptop safe numbers. Their response was prompt and courteous. We'd definitely go again.

Modern, lovely room, breakfast okayThis is a great hotel, modern and up-to-date, our room was lovely, plenty of tea coffee & hot chocolate, lovely furnishings and ambience. The only problem was the breakfast, which seemed to be hit-and-miss - if we were to stay here again we would probably go room only. The transport links are great, with the tube stop only a minute's walk away and easy road access via the gyratory - the noise from which is not noticeable at all from the hotel (and our room backed onto it). Would stay here again and would recommend - just don't expect too much from the breakfast.

great breakfastWe stayed here to attend the theatre production \"War Horse\" at the New London Theatre at Drury Lane - so Holborn on the underground. The location was great - we took the tube from Hanger Lane across the road on the central line and didn't have to make any changes to arrive at Drury Lane about 20 minutes later. Parked the car at the hotel for £10 - secure parking - you can park behind the hotel. The bed was a little small - definately not a king. Breakfast really was good - fresh fruit, yohhurt, cold meats, pastries, and cooked breakfast - all buffet style in the basement restaurant but there were outside windows giving natural light. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful.

The cleanliness of the room was great. The only comment to make was I paid £30 to upgrade the room only to find out the Kit Kat in the room was half eaten and the complementary canpes in the club room was limited. Drinks available were only soft drinks, wine and beer - no spirits. The staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly

Information on the hotel's website is misleading in relation to the nearest tube station. Arrived at the hotel at 1pm and room was not ready and every effort was made to address this. Staff were friendly and helpful. Executive room was very good value and I will use the hotel again for its location to the tube station and value. The hotel is located beside a major road junction but the sound proofing is excellent. Drinks are pricey in the bar.
