Just off Junction 4 on the M4 Motorway, close to Heathrow which can be accessed by a shuttle bus to and from the Terminals and the hotel. Ideally located near the M25 Motorway which gives you easy access to the following places to visit or attend: Legoland, Windsor Castle, Twickenham and Wembley Stadium. The hotel's leisure facilities offer a well equipped health and fitness swimming pool, along with a children's pool, sauna, plunge pool and whirlpool, beauty therapy room, solarium, a well equipped gymnasium and a children's play area. Extremely comfortable bed, clean facilities. Extremely expensive food. The hotel is comfortable, quiet. We utilized it for an overnight layover, and,unfortunately, the food at the hotel was extremely expensive (which may be because the hotel is near the airport).

Given the location and quality of this hotel, I was very pleased. There is a pub nearby (walking distance) that is very good with food. The staff were excetional at meeting my needs. The lobby bar and pub (respectively) were outstanding and very accommodating. The concierge servce exceeded my epxectations.I stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn Heathrow (to save a few dollars) back in February when I came over for business and was very upset that I didn't book the Crowne Plaza. The extra cost is well worth what you receive in terms of quality and service for your price.I enjoyed this hotel so much I am booking it for the students I take every year for a cultural exchage before our return flight in March.

Very Clean. 3 Mile Hotel shuttle to the airport will cost you $40.00!! A descent hotel with an airport in it's name should at least provide shuttle service to the airport. Very disappointing!

Pros: Clean & Tidy Cons: Real expensive with only so, so service TERRIBLE: Ask front-desk to call a taxi to airport. The front-desk people ordered a "car" with no taxi sign, no meter,... Double check with Crown Plaza personnel, who insisted that those are taxi!! Oh well, when you have to go to airport, what can you do? Anyway, charged me 25 pounds instead of the usual 15 pounds. TOURIST TRAP, BEWARE.

The staff were very helpful and the location was very good for airport. The hotel offers a family weekend and the place was overrun with children, and apparently the package included breakfast. It was a convenient to the airport and the upgrade to the executive club was very nice.

Air conditioner worked well. It was to far from airport to be classified as an airport hotel and if was run down. This hotel was too far from airport to be classified as an airport hotel, 25 pound cab ride. Rooms were quite plain and a little run down.

Excellent quality rooms. Area is bleak. Fantastic hotel close to the airport. Perfect to stay at on a stopover. Wonderful rooms, very clean and modern facilities.

Hourly late check out arrangement. Maid ignored Do Not Disturb sign. Very well thought out for airport business travelers. Lots of in-room useful stuff. Lots of power ports Its silly that you have to pay for internet connection. Should be wireless by now.

The room was great and staff was friendly. The restaurants were closed the majority of our stay and when they finally did open they were terribly overpriced and staff was inattentive. Access from Lahr via the hopper at 4 pounds each. Rooms are excellent. Restaurants are overpriced and extremely poor service. Gym and pool are great. If you stay order takeout!

The room was recently renovated, was clean and had high-speed internet. Many facilities were closed on the weekend. An attractive hotel located on the Hoppa 1 bus line, 10 minutes from Heathrow. Beautiful fitness center, high-speed internet access in the room. Some restaurants closed Friday to Sunday.

Not wishing to trust to the whims of London morning traffic, we spent our last night on holidays at an airport hotel. Given previous experiences with airport hotels we were very happy indeed with the Crowne Plaza. The room was clean and comfortable and the front desk staff were efficient, helpful and friendly. Once a North American traveler accepts that all prices are high in the UK, the value for money is there. We also found great staff and excellent food at the a la carte restaurant (yes, in England!).

Convenient to LHR and the city. No free shuttle from LHR. The Crowne Plaza was a high quality business hotel that was convenient to Heathrow and the city. It was populated with airline crews and business travelers and had good restaurants and a crowded lively bar. The rooms were generally of a high standard though the carpets should probably be replaced soon. It costs 4 pounds to take a shuttle bus that comes every 20-30 min or 11 pounds to take a taxi to the airport.
