Beautiful room with balcony. No free computers, had to pay. Pkg expensive. Great place. Offer free computers and not just Wi-Fi in the room or by the pool. Who takes their laptop on vacation?

The hotel itself was nice. Very contemporary and stylish. Front desk staff - just wonderful! Room cleanliness was bad. Every day our room was cleaned at 6 p.m. and our coffee pot was left dirty all the time. Used dishes were also left in the room because they could not figure out is the (1) french fry and (1) small bite size of a burger was something we would possibly come back to eat later - so they just left it in the room. They washed our used glasses with the same towl that they washed the other 25 rooms with. I was just plan old UNHAPPY with the room cleaners. I would not go back.

From the time we drove up the service at valet on was great. We stayed for a week and found nothing negative. This hotel is beautiful from the ground floor up the staff knows how to treat a customer and the views of the water are amazing.

I was deceived into thinking this hotel was directly on the beach. It's not. It's on the Intercoastal Waterway side and you can see a little bit of ocean in the distance but the real oceanfront hotels are across the street. Our view was nice but not what I expected. Got a nice view of the waterway and the drawbridge. The bathroom didn't seem to be very well thought out. Shower was spacious but only one tiny tray for soap, so shampoo and condition and other products sit on the floor. The sink is located outside of the bathroom which I've never liked at any hotel or house. The hotel was clean enough but not as clean as it should have been. Stains on towels, robes, and pillows were unattractive. A few stains on the bathroom walls. The Bistro in the hotel is ok, not the greatest but nice staff. Breakfast buffet is ok, but I was hoping for it to include Cheese Blintzes, Waffles, and/or French Toast, which I had at the Westin Diplomat's buffet during this stay. The pool was very nice and open until 11pm. Tiki bar next to the pool.

this was an absolutely beutiful hotel. in fact the rooms were nicer than any other ive stayed at. the only problem was one of the people i took on this trip got stuck in the elavator for over twenty minutes and the staff kind of just blew this off. which was very upsetting to him.

Beautiful and spacious room, lovely pool area. Lacked eateries within walking distance of hotel. Helpful staff, beautiful room, and lovely pool area; however, there was no turn down service you customarily see in a 4-star hotel; also daily newspaper was not provided as is expected in a 4-star hotel. Staff still trying to "iron-out" wrinkles of a new hotel, for example, they made us check-out beach towels and then there was no one at the return desk available to mark receipt of the towels. Also, there was insufficient number of beach-lounge chairs available. Overall, it was a lovely stay.

Nice rooms, great beds, close to ocean, and nice pool. Service in restaurant was slow. Great hotel. Central to shopping and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The pool and the location of the pool. Also the ocean was very close. Parking and the cost 14.00 a day to self park. Hotel was very clean, nice and beautifully landscaped. Enjoyed the pool very much and the closeness to the ocean. Parking was the only disappointment, had to pay 14.00 per day for self parking.

Great location. Have to pay to rent beach chairs on the beach. Hotel is across the street from the beach, but not a big problem. Close to everything, great location.

My husband and I could not have been more pleased. The hotel was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and we heard no noise. Huge shower, and although a bit odd having the sink inside the room rather than in the bathroom, it was just fine. It looked just like part of the furniture, attractively done. The staff was friendly and always available. I appreciate having someone at the front desk at all times. There was always a Good Bye when we left and Welcome Back when we returned. The beach access was fine too. The walk was virtually minutes. I have stayed at hotels directly on the beach, and if the hotel is large enough, been further away from the beach than we were here at the Crowne Plaza. Love having a microwave and refridgerator in the room. So convenient. Pool is just lovely, with plenty of lounges and shade, again very clean. The beach was beautiful, clean and not crowded, lifeguards on duty. It is a very short walk to the grocery store and restaurants. Just accross the bridge. Wal-Mart, Publix, Wynn Dixie, Panera Bread, Burger King, Subway. We walked several times at dusk and always felt safe, the area is mostly condo's and was very quiet like being in a small community rather than a city. We would definately stay again.

Plush bed/bath amenities. $19.00 for parking. Very nice hotel certainly a deluxe, put in a lower floor handicapped with no balcony, like the rest of the rooms, but nice nevertheless. It had a flat screen TV but rather small to see from the bed. Pool area is very nice one of the best I have seen with a tiki bar. $19.00 per day for valet and $14 per day self park is steep.

We loved the room and we had a great view. Don't agree that you should be charged for self parking when you are parking your car yourself. My family loved the hotel. It was a great hotel. Did not like that we where charged for self parking when we parked our car our self. Felt that it was just a way for the hotel to make money off of you. The parking lot was not closed in for self parking. We did not see any security. Once again just felt it was a way for the hotel to make some extra money. You got to pay it. Because they know if you are from out of town. That you would not know where to go and park any where else.

This hotel was very comfortable, modern, and we had a nice relaxing time. The room was very modern and having the kitchenette with sink and frig was very helpful. The front desk staff were friendly and hospitable. Even though the beach was across the street, it was easily accessible. Taking a cab to get to the mall and different stores got quite pricey, however, we figured out how to take the bus to the "high-end" mall, Adventura, which took the same amount of time as a cab, but only costing $1.25 rather than $round trip. This is a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life to just relax.

The room size was terrific. Bed was comfortable. Kitchenette was a nice benefit. However, there were limited towels. There were only two small trash cans, one in the bathroom and one at the desk. There was no trashcan under the sink or in the kitchen area. Staff was friendly. Restaurant was fairly pricey for dinner. We didn't like the fact that you had to cross such a busy street to get to the beach. The pool area was very nice.

Ocean and intercostals views. Room decoration. 1st night in handicap room took shower and flooded room. The staff was very accommodating. The first was in Chicago. The Crown was kind enough to move me but I did not have such luck in Chicago.

Very comfortable and inviting bedding, just really loved the bed and bathroom. location for walking Upscale nice, very pleasant staff, very freindly, welcoming. The main reason you stay is for a nice peaceful sleep, and the bedding and deco of the room was calming, I really slept well.

The Crowne Plaza in Fort Lauderdale is a very nice hotel. The bed was amazing. The views from the hotel were beautiful (and we even had a side view which partially showed the ocean and partially showed the waterway which normally isn't a favored view). My only complaint is the parking situation and the neighborhood. The only option for parking is valet and it costs $17.00 a day, which adds up! Oftentimes, we could see our car in the parking lot and very well could have walked over to it, but had to wait for the valet to get it for us (15 minutes was the norm). There are better neighborhoods in the Fort Lauderdale area to stay in, as well. The beach was just a short walk away, but it was dirty. We opted to go to Miami Beach just a short drive away. The hotel, as a whole, was very nice, though. We were comfortable. The staff was friendly. And the pool was probably one of the nicest pools I've seen. If you go to the tiki bar, ask for their signature blended drink. I can't recall the name, but it was amazing. I would recommend this site as a reasonable option for vacationers. We would stay again.
