We were right in the middle of everything. Inexpensive eating places right around corner. Restaurants inside motel were too high for us. Would stay here again for sure

Great location, well appointed and decorated room, good and attentive staff. The hotel is clean, comfortable, well located and the staff is friendly, attentive, and capable. The room we had was clean, well equipped and decorated.

Crowne Plaza is in wonderful location right on broadwary. Wonderful, clean rooms. Great view. Would gladly stay there again and recommend it to all my friends.

Excellent, everything was first class, our bag was mislaid temporarily, but mistake was rectified, and we were given vouchers for breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone

Room. No mini bar; Nothing could be taken to room. Tiring hotel on Times Square. Nice room and work out room but facilities need a face lift.

The room was very clean with luxury linen--plenty of pillows. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels and nice toiletries. The repectionist was very helpful-gave me an option of what view I would prefer. Of course I selected the view of Times Square on the 17th floor. Would definitely stay again

Location, really good beds andfriendly staff. We had a drink in the lobby bar and it was 30.00. Well staffed, well appointed, security in the evenings by the elevators to ensure you were a guest of the hotel and great location. We were celebrating an anniversary and were treated to free champagne!

For us the location was perfect. We were in New York to see the shows. We were within walking distance of theaters, restaurants and shopping. The hotel employees were very kind and helpful and our room was always made up with fresh bedding and towels every day.

The location was excellent. Right in Times Square! Hotel had great sized rooms (especially for New York) and the area was safe for nighttime roaming. So close to Broadway shows and is the very best location for any nighttime activities.

It was right in the center of Time Square, convienent to transportation, spacious room and clean. The lobby is one floor up from the street, I am really searching for something I didn't like.

The room was comfortable and upscale. The location is perfect for Manhattan's theatre district. I expected basic amenities to work and they did not. TheCD player, keyboard for e-mail access, and safe were all broken. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby area is beautiful. The shower and bath did not heat up easily. The TV had a big flat screen and rotated easily. The armchair was very comfortable.

My family and I were in town for the Yankees game and just needed a place to rest our head for the night. But, we found the location to be so close to the heart of Times Square that we found ourselves shopping after the game.Then Sunday morning we were so close to Rockefeller Center that we found ourselves at the Top of the Rock and had a wonderful brunch at the Rockefeller Cafe then continued from there to Macy's at Herald Square.We found the staff very helpful in regards to check in and making sure that we new what subway to take to Yankee Stadium. We found the staff to be very helpful in regards to holding our luggage before and after check in and out so we could enjoy shopping and getting to our destination without carrying luggage. We had a great family weekend. We go to New York City once a year and this was our first time staying at the Crown Plaza and we would definetly stay again and experience the pool and dining on our next trip.

Super location right in the heart of the action. THe room was very clean and spacious. Front desk staff very helpful and polite. Just a few blocks from the theaters, Rockefeller plaza, easy access to the metro.

The room was very nice. Check-in time is a bit too late (3 p.m.). Should be earlier, i.e., 1 p.m. The staff was very helpful.

The hotel was perfect. It was in the middle of everything. We were able to walk to the two Broadway shows the we attended. I traveled with a teenager and she was very impressed with the whole experience. Would definitely stay there again.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel was a wonderful hotel choice. The room was very comfortable, clean, and modern. the bed was huge and comfortable. The window view was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were able to provide great directions and suggestions for restaurants. the location was great since it was in the middle of times square. i will definately stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel when i return to NYC again.

Friendly staff. Access into and out of hotel. You enter the hotel through a small door, then go upstairs; and it never gets much better. Very mediocre in all aspects.

Nicely decorated lobby. Few amenities, lots of extra charges, poor customer service, untrustworthy. I was very disappointed with the hotel. Though the lobby and room were decorated nicely, the hotel had very few amenities (no recreational pool or hot tub) and charged extra for those available such as WiFi ($20 a day)! My Ipod was stolen (possibly by staff) and the hotel refused to help until after many complaints and face to face interactions. Fifteen minutes after checking in a acquaintance man walked in on us (he was not aware we had arrived) as well as a member of the cleaning staff.

My grandson had never been to the city, so I wanted him to be in the thick of things. The location couldn't have been better, and the room was perfect. If I could get a good deal like I did this time, I'd definitely stay there again.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Crown Plaza at Times Square August 26-29, 2009. We found the room very clean with a beautiful view of the river. We were impressed with the friendly and helpful staff the minute we checked in with J at the front desk to using the concierge services of B and the rest of the staff. Their assistance with theater tickets and recommendatins of various restaurants within walking distance gave us a good feel of the "sights & sounds" of the local demographics. The hotel location could not be better for attending the shows on Broadway, shopping, seeing the sights of Times Square, visiting Central Park and having easy access to a subway station. This experience made this trip very pleasant and one we will always remember.

"Not having any idea where to stay in NYC and only really using the hotel location and the reviews is how we made our decision and we're very pleased with the results! We had a corner room on the 33rd floor overlooking Times Square and it was spectacular! Especially for the kids who have never seen the city lights like that before! It was the perfect location and a wonderful staff, would definitely stay again."

Everyone was very helpful. Great service. Room was a little warm. We were only they for a short stay. The location was great, close to everything but far enough was to avoid a little traffic. Staff was very friendly, check in was easy and fast. Would stay there again.

The hotel was under renuvation. There was no restraunt or bar as it was all under renovation. This was somewhat disappointment. However, our room was very nice and very clean. The staff were very nice and helpful which was especially nice in Manhatten. The location was great right in the middle of everything.

Location, clean, friendly, overall satisfied. My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at the Crowne Plaza. It was a very smooth check-in and we were on the 35th floor looking into Times Square. It was my wifes first trip and it was definitely a great trip.

This was my second time to visit this hotel. I do like it and would stay there again but there are a few things I was not particularly happy about. The hotel was not ready for us to check in until 3:30 and we had to be at a show at 4:00. Our room was very hot, also. I called downstairs and they sent someone up to open our window (It was 26 degrees outside) and it was still very hot. Construction was also going on on the front entrance so we had to use the back. Other than that it's a great location and staff is very friendly. It's very clean, too.

The Crown Plaza Hotel in Times Square was in a great location--convenient to restaurants, theatres and shopping. The hotel is in the process of being renovated, and the renovated rooms, while not huge, are clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows and the bathroom was good-sized. We never had to wait long for an elevator, despite the fact that the hotel had 46 floors (we were on 38th floor). Hotel security is very good. In the evening, guests must shown their room cards at two security points before being allowed entry to the guest rooms. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would use again ourselves if travelling back to New York City.

"A trip to NY was a present to my wife, and I wanted everything to go well. The staff here were fantastic. The location has to be the best. The room we ended up with had a great view. I could wish for a bigger room, but I wouldn't trade this experience for anything. Thank you."

Clean, large room. Have to have ID to get onto elevator. Our room was large for NYC. Clean, modern, newly renovated. Nothing to complain about except for the $17 a day for internet access and having to show my ID each time I took the elevator upstairs.

Clean, safe hotel located near NYC's Times Square. There were times that if felt as if I didn't get the response from the front desk had I been wearing a suit.
