Lobby and restaurant space. Wings feel more like motels (vs hotels), age is obvious, adjoining rooms date hotel. This is not a 3 star hotel. The public spaces are closest to creating that rating. However, I stayed in a wing of the hotel that felt very much like an older Holiday Inn motel. Also, do not like adjoining rooms and do not find that to be a characteristic of a 3 star hotel. The TV was extremely fuzzy. Again, very disappointed.

All of the facilities & grounds, restaurant, and location. The hotel was under some construction and it made the exterior appearance be rough. This site has tennis, golf, exercise facilities, and outdoor jogging path. It is located immediately near downtown Asheville. There are two nice restaurants with one having a stone fireplace.

Excellent hotel for the price paid. Difficult to get in and out of this property. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Fresh flowers in the lobby and restrooms! I was unable to sleep because of a mechanical hum on the headboard wall.

Location and staff reception. Check-in reception desk was short staffed at both check-in and in the morning at check-out. The room was quite cold when I checked in as they had turned the heat off - though it did warm up quickly when I turned it on - just not very inviting. Breakfast buffet food was slop and the wait staff service, though pleasant, obviously unaware of customer needs.

Extremely Clean. Outdoor amenities were under construction. This hotel was wonderful and even better than I expected. I read reviews on some other websites about it and it received average to low ratings. I was so excited to see just how wrong those reviews were. My hotel room was spotless and the staff could not have been more helpful.

Spacious guest areas andnice business center. No swimming pool or hot tub even in 70 degree spring day. This hotel is undergoing lots of renovations - Facilities should be up to snuff for summer but don't expect lots of activities in the spring. While the hotel has indoor tennis courts, pool, etc. none were available during our stay.

Large room, nice linens. Staff was very friendly. Large overall resort with plenty room to walk on the trails that used to be a golf course. The location is definitely not downtown. Hallways were a little dark. Great place to get away from it all though. Clean, spacious rooms. Short drive to downtown, even though they offered a shuttle ($5 per person).

The rooms were spacious, beautiful view of mountains, close to Maj highway, but secluded. Nothing! The staff was wonderful, the rooms were gorgeous, the whole atmosphere is one of rest and relaxation. I would definitely stay here again!

Comfort of bedding. Poorly kept. Room had been broken into and lock replaced as a poor substitute. Sliding glass door would not close completely.

"The staff people at the check in desk at the above hotel were the most inattentive people I have ever encountered in my travels. This attitude continued throughout our stay. We actually felt they could not be bothered with the guests and were just passing time until they went off duty. Also, although the rooms were clean and large, the noise from the highway nearby was not a good thing . I would not stay at another Crown Plaza property."

Only the price. Hotel did not follow through with what was promised in the room. Elevators too small and too few. Room was not thoroughly cleaned from previous guests. Continental breakfast should have been offered, what I paid for was poor quality. Hotel hard to find and dangerous to turn into because of short notice before turn-off. All in all, poor quality for the money.

Very clean. Location. The hotel is lovely, rooms are nice. Very quiet we did not use the restaurants. The location is difficult you have to drive through a shopping center parking lot and then up a steep hill.

The beds were great, the facilities were really clean, and the staff was excelled. One small elevator and it was very slow. I had stayed at this location twice many years ago when it was the Great Smoky Hilton. I thought it was great then, but actually it looks better with age. A lot of construction with nice upgrades has taken place.
