Great location - simple but well appointed. Elevator was rickety - overhead light was very dim. Convenient, clean, comfortable accommodation Not fancy but adequate at a great price! I would stay here again.

Run down, holes in walls, patch jobs etc. The rooms were bigger than I imagined. It was perfect for what I/we needed it for. It was a place to lay our heads, the rooms was exceptionally clean and the shower had great pressure.

the staff was extremely freindly - one of the desk clerks let me borrow a calculator when I asked where I could purchase one... Location is unbeatable - good local restraunts with in a square block. All much better priced than the tourist rip off places in Times Square. The subway station is less than a half a block - complete with local and express trains. The pillows were not comfortable but the king size bed was okay. The room smelled like too many air fresheners were in use - and my windows were taped shut so I couldn't get fresh air in the room. but for the price who can complain.

It was near a Subway stop. "Worn" would be an understatement. Frankly, I've been in Motel 6's that were better.

Proximity to subway. Terrible lobby, poor air conditioning/heating, noise, lack of gym. This place is one of those pathetic places that rate themselves 3 start higher than they are- due to location. The place is undergoing continuous reconstruction. The gym consists of 3 broken pieces of equipment. You could not see the lobby for bags stowed in the entrance and people milling around due to lack of chairs as they presumably waited for their rooms. Total shambles!

Convenient location to visit NYC. Room was OK for the price (expensive). I would stay again because of location. I thought that the hotel was a bit pricey even though it only had a 1 star rating. The room was OK. Staff was congenial.

The hotel room was REALLY small; the door hit the nightstand when you came into the room. It was quite worn, but the bed was comfortable and it was clean. Of course, it is NYC, so we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. It is located close to the subway and near good breakfast spots.

We stayed there on a Thursday night. We got there late after a Yankee game. It was a very clean room (bad View). The Bathroom was very nice. We had cable. The bellman was very helpful finding us parking that late at night. The only thing that I could complain about was the smallness of the Elevator. Everything else was great, if your going to NY for the Hotel this is not the place for you, but if your looking to get some sleep then go see the sights this is a great place to stay.

We stayed at the Days Inn and I knew from the frist call to the hotel they would be rude. I called to get info about a shuttle and the lady did not even give me a chance to offer to pay. She asked me how many people were with me. When I told her two, she said no and hung up. We took a cab from the airport to the hotel! The rooms were small but clean. We only used the hotel to lay our heads. The hotel gets repeat visitors because of the ideal location. The 96th street subway station is roght on the corner, tons of food places around to get reasonable eats (Cafe Con Leche has great happy hour drinks, 2 for o1 specials and the Europena bakery is open 24 hours and serves great Everything for under 5 bucks) What the hotel lacks in ammenities (you have to pay for the internet) it makes up for in price and location. Central park is minutes away, Columbia Univ. is down the street and we loved eberything about the area. Suggestions, use the hotel to sleep and bathe and you can avoid the rude workers. Keep your doors locked as they do not check the ID of people coming in and out of the hotel, and use public transportation! We would stay here again! Beds are small!

This is for the Days in on 215 West 94th street when we showed up we were told that our reservation was only or one person and that we would be charged an extra $25. I explained that this was over the GROUP rate which had been negotiated for our stay. I was told that ""you can discuss that with the Group Sales Manager (not sure if that was the exact title)on Monday when he comes into work. I am a business traveler who does about 50 - 100 nights a year. I have NEVER been in a hotel where the elevator looks like someone had tried to scratch thier way out and the light was a long bulb plugged into a socket. When we arrived at our floor we could hardly breath the smell of CURRY was so overpowering. We went to the front dest to advise and we were told that it was not possible as there was cooking methods in the rooms (which we found out later that people actually lived in the hotel full time). The room was COMPLETELY unacceptable. The internet did not work (we were rudely told it was and there were three wireless connection nodes which later we were told ""oh yes it is not working"") The toilet continuously ran, the radiator hissed and made clunking noises, the tub had black stains, the toilet paper roll holder was broken, the room floor was slanted (YES ITS TRUE WE HAVE PICTURES) the bed sagged in the middle and your feet were higher than your head because of the slant, the carpet was nasty and the bath towels were so thin and small they were ineffective. I tried calling the Hotel, spoke with Mr. B. W. , said I had a concern and should I

The bathrooms were freshly renovated. The elevator was very small & slow. This hotel was located conveniently close to Central Park, fine Indian & other types restaurants, and subway. Bathrooms were very clean, great renovations there.

The location and the service was good. The one drawback was I asked for a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room. The room had a thick odor of smoke and no matter what was done, it would not go away. Otherwise, the service is good and staff is friendly. This was my second stay; the first time was better.

Clean, quiet room with windows that open. TV didn't work; wireless Internet not reliably strong, but apparently no bugs or mice. Given that all NY hotels are shockingly expensive for very little in amenities, Days Hotel Broadway was at least quiet and still has smoking rooms. The location is excellent for Upper West Side business. The shower worked (although it takes a long time for the hot water to arrive) but the TV did not. Still, not bad.

Size of room, coffee and breakfast bars, cleanliness. The elevators. For a moderately priced room it was spacious, clean, quiet, and provided coffee and toiletries. Staff was very friendly.
