The staff were friendly. My non-smoking room stunk of cigarette. Do not be fooled by the star rating. This hotel can only aspire to be a 3. The non-smoking room smelled of cigarette. And when I tried to use the stairs to leave the hotel I had to turn around and go back up and take the elevator -- I wonder what the fire marshal would say. When I reached the second level in the stairwell I encountered a sign warning of asbestos. I would never stay there again.

Was there during business meeting last week. Rooms, staff etc were above average. No real complaints about this place and I would stay here again. Front desk staff exceptionally helpful in finding us taxis to get around Vancouver. Only negative part was price of room service. Pizza and two beers were $55 plus tip which was on the pricey side ot say the least.

Room was too small and so was the bathroom. Only one bathrobe and we were two adults. Expensive hotel for what it offers. Regular rate is $360 for a room that's approx. 350 sq ft. Restaurant was closed and I got there at 6 p.m. The passway to the next door pub was dirty and looked abandoned. Good for a quick stay to be near the airport but will not stay there again.

While the Hotel appears nice from the outside and the staff is extremly friendly, this hotel is a ripoff to the budget minded traveler. They charge $10 per day to park in their huge parking lot. They are near no restuarants, and no nearby parking, therefore not only are you stuck with pay parking, but their resturant prices are extremely high 5.25 for a bowl of cereal give me a break. $3.00 for 10 minutes of bad and slow public internet access. NO blankets on the beds, just one comfronter. This hotel is ideal for the business traveler with an unlimited expense account, or an airline employee. But if you are an individual traveler renting a car, or a family I would highly reccommend that you pass on this hotel. There are much better nearby options. Hotels near the same price, with breakfast included, or decent priced resturants nearby.

I was able to get a fridge in my room and use a microwave. The continental breakfast wasn't free. The hotel staff was very helpful. The beds were comfy, but the TV I had was pretty old and had an annoying yellow tint. It was annoying that the numbers of the channels don't display when you flip through them and I couldn't find a display button to make the numbers show up.

Good breakfast selection. Bathroom facilities were moderate standard. I and my wife chose this hotel due to its close proximity to the Vancouver airport. The hotel was not anything to write home about in most areas. We did enjoy the breakfast buffet and our server was excellent.

The front desk people are friendly. There is no A/C in the room. I think this hotel should not be rated as a 3-star hotel as it is not comparable to a Marriott 3-star hotel. Besides the fact that there is no A/C in the room (they have plans in the future to install an A/C unit), the room needs to be upgraded. It is pretty dusty and the cleaning product the hotel uses, its way too strong. I can smell it when I get off the elevator. The odor is creating a discomfort to the guests who are staying at the hotel and does not present a warm welcome environment. The bed is way too soft as well as the pillows; there is really no neck support. Overall, my family will never stay at this hotel again.

Location. $10 per day for parking. Great experience. The hotel is close to the airport, close to the freeways, and is situated right at a harbor. Once the sky train is build nearby, you would not even need to rent a car to get around. It was worth what we paid.

Staff was friendly. Small TV in the room; king size bed need extra $20. The hotel is at best a 3 starnota 3.5 star. Staff was friendly. Reasonably close to Richmond action area but access to hotel from road is confusing and easily missed. Small TV in the room. Queen bed was too soft. All non-smoking rooms which is good! Extra $10 for parking!

The restaurants were excellent and the food very good. We were not told about overhead early am construction. Having stayed in other delta hotels, this one needs refurbishing. I usually travel on business but this time on vacation with my spouse. We were not told that they had scheduled overhead early morning construction. The hotel did not seem overly crowded so they had to have extra rooms. When we checked in, they asked if it was for pleasure or business and when we said "pleasure" we should have been told or given another room.

The room is small; location is not easily accessible. The hotel charged $10 a day for parking, but the parking lot is full with cars of long term airport parking. It is next to impossible to find a space. The room was small and the TV set was one of the smallest we have seen. However, the room and the bathroom were clean. We were unable to find the exercise room.

Very kids friendly. Access - to first timer comer the local traffic could be puzzling. Convenient for access to Richmond area or if you don't want to suffer the traffic between downtown Vancouver and airport. Very kids friendly, from welcome treats bag to stuff. Once into the room, we found there's no fridge. Called house keeping, and a new fridge was delivered right away. At located close to runways of a busy airport, the two nights we stayed the noise did not appear to be disturbing.

Overlooks the river. Outdated, limited amenities. Lobby and staff provide a warm welcome, but the rooms are very outdated, with small bathrooms. The best part of the rooms is the comfortable beds. The location of the Delta is great insofar as it is close to the airport and overlooks the river, but it is isolated and not close to any restaurants, convenience stores or shops. For my money, I prefer the Marriott or Hilton for brief stays in and out of Vancouver airport.

Our company has been coming here for many years. Hotel has been slowly going downhill. Hotel staff has changed and not very nice, at least towards our company, which obtains room rate discounts. So, service = price you pay (or don't pay). Rooms are in very desperate need of complete gutting. A couple of years ago they did something to "upgrade" the heating system and I've yet to see what has improved. Hard to heat the rooms which is mandatory in chilly Vancouver. End up supplementing the heat by cranking up the blow dryer and hanging if from a mirror aimed towards the room (a new entry for a survialist handbook?). Bedding is the only redeeming quality; sheets are starched & pressed. Mattresses are another story; firm with a semi thick mattress pad making the bed a fluffy pillow top wannabe. Furniture is straight out of a Levitz Furniture bankruptcy liquidation outlet. Television is a throwback to the early 80's. Get with it folks! 24hr fitness center is on 11th floor. Pretty damn good actually. Aside from cardio equipment, free weights and weight machine, gym has a nice view and is accessorized with towels (some chilled!); apples and water to quench your thirst. High speed internet for the low rent district rooms is over $12 USD. To numb yourself from doing time at this place, have a pint (or three) at the enjoyable Elephant & Castle next door! Super nice staff and cool bar area. Try the awesome Fish 'n Chips. Food is good and many beers to choose from. Great view too from most tables. Bus stop is right out front of the hotel, making it easy for a fast getaway. 25-30min ride to downtown area. Coins only so be prepared.

Good location relative to Richmond, comfortable bed. Low ceilings, dingy carpet, worn furniture, tiny TV with dying remote control. Definitely not a 3.5 star hotel. Needs a remodel to replace worn carpet and furnishings. Tiny TV set with worn-out remote control. Weird ventilation system that resets the thermostat when no motion is detected in the room (like when you're sleeping!) very annoying to go to bed at one temperature setting and wake up in the middle of the night freezing.

Good shuttle service. Seemed a little run-down. It was fine for a night since we were just passing through - and the price was right. The personnel was friendly and accommodating including the shuttle driver who made sure to load our bags onto a cart upon arrival at the airport. As long as you're not expecting luxury and a high-end room, this hotel was fine.

Convenience to Vancouver Airport. Although not a smoking room, it smelled like someone had smoked in it. We were upgraded when we paid an extra $20 for the night. The room we had been in was well used and having stayed at the Delta before (which is what brought me back) and knew the difference from then to now, I was somewhat disappointed. The TV was also too small for watching from the bed, especially someone with vision difficulties.

I liked the location and the adjoining pub on the water. It was very basic for an airport hotel. We were disappointed to be encouraged to upgrade to a better room for a much higher price. All of the rooms with two beds were sold out so we were forced to have one adult and two young kids in a full-size bed and one adult on the floor (in a 3-star hotel). Management claimed that all of the roll away beds were being used (although one sat in the hallway well past midnight). Rooms with king size beds were available, but for a much higher price. The desk clerk was aware of our situation and said there was nothing he could do (even though it was already near 10:00 pm and those rooms were unlikely to be sold out). Our family members who checked in after midnight were also pressured to upgrade to the room with the king size bed (for three adults). We won't go back to this hotel.

Service and facilities were just fine. Had to pay extra for a King Size bed and the rooms are a bit too small. Great location, good facilities and friendly service. Could use a bit more space in the room and paying extra for a King Size bed as opposed to two Queens seems a bit silly. Not much parking space as it appears folks head off on vacation and leave their vehicles stored until they return.

Clean with comfortable beds, nice bedding. Kind of brusque at front desk check-in. The hotel is well-kept, in a great location very close to YVR, the only way to be closer is to stay at the airport hotel itself. The free airport shuttle runs frequently from early am to around midnight. The person who checked us in displayed an attitude of impatience.

First night was a little noisy due to a party at the restaurant below. On other days, with the windows closed, traffic noise is not noticeable except for when an aircraft is flying low.
