Awesome swans, flamingos, golf, swimming, tennis and relaxation! Springs pool OCD old attendant annoying! This hotel has been my family's favorite since it was built 20+ years. We might try the rancho las palms because of lazy river pool and being right across the street from The River (awesome restaurants and shops)!

Mikado was a great restaurant. There was bird poop everywhere, especially by the pool. Nice property but a bit run down and too much bird poop. Someone spilled coffee in front of our door and there it stayed the entire time we were there.

Beautiful Oasis. No one told me the SPA wasn't available. Many amenities were closed. Not worth the money because they didn't offer all the services they advertise. I went for a complete SPA weekend and only got a room, room service & pool. Pretty but no delivery on Luxury services. Very disappointed. This was my 4th time at this hotel (past experiences were good), but I will never go back.

Great for an active Palm Springs getaway. Brunch service in the restaurant was lacking. Great hotel for dining & relaxing at the bar. Public spaces were very active and inviting.

A great place to stay. All my requests were met except I could never get anyone to change a bulb in bedside lamp. Would happily stay here again!

The huge facility made it so difficult to get from one activity to another. It took so long to get from our room to the nearest swimming pool, lobby and restaurant, that there were times when my kids didn't even want to go and do anything. The food was very mediocre in quality and the wait staff not very attentive. We expected great service. Also, if you are traveling with young children, you might reconsider choosing this resort if you don't want them exposed to the tattoo and body piercing crowd.

Do not stay here ... So I am paying $400 a night, and I find out they make you wear cheap little paper bracelets to get access to the pool to ward off kids sneeking in from outside resort. And in order to workout at the gym facility, you have to pay $20 a day. And then we find out that we have to pay $15 a day to park our little rental car in their parking lot -$25 a day for valet. So two days into our stay, we get a call from one of the bartenders from the lobby bar. It turns out that someone was trying to charge drinks to our room but the bartender caught them and threw them out. Later I find out that someone did in fact succeed in charging drinks to our room...$1000 worth of drinks! The spa facility is absolutely beautiful! But, both the massage and facial I received were by far the worst I've ever had! The only reason I went back for a facial a day later, was because I wanted to be able to hang out at the spa pool. The other four pools at the resort were loud and packed by 10am. The only way you can use the spa pool is if you pay for a spa service. Finally, as we were about to check out I get a call from my credit card company. Since my stay at the JW, someone had charged $5000 to my credit via online. The only thing I've used my card for is this hotel.

The location is excellent. Rooms need to be updated. Nice location, outstanding grounds, friendly people. The prices of food and drink border on price gauging.
