We stayed in this so called hotel/resort for one long week. It did change names, we actually went to another hotel a couple miles down the road. Their names almost identical. We were given directions to this hotel. My first red flag was that there wasn't any other people staying there for the first few nights. Eerie to say the least. The first day we received Bath & Body products, that was mentioned in their advertising. That was the only day we saw them, after that generic products and not new ones daily. There was no bathtub ( I guess they forgot to mention that ). It was a very small shower stall. The toilet and shower were in a closet size room. When showering a towel was placed on the floor due to not wanting to catch anything. The hook fell off the wall when hanging a towel on it. The TV's volume went up and down and the pic was not very clear for being cable. On our 5th day there as I was opening the curtain to get a lovely view of the dumpster, lo and behold a lizard was on the window, yess inside !! I was not impressed. Who knows how long it had been hanging out in our room. The breakfast was poor, they show a waffle iron ( never saw one ). The breakfast is for only 2 hrs , so you best get there and get your store bought muffins early. I tried to make the best of it and pretend I was camping ( which I hate ) . I do not know what is going on with this location. When we booked it through the travel website, it was listed as a Meridian Hotel, my paperwork came through as "The Galleria", when we arrived we were told it was "The Palms Hotel & Villas" and were charged an additional resort fee (which I was told by the front desk clerk would be refunded if we were not satisified with our room as long as we did not stay). It is in no way a resort and I have since found it listed as a Hampton Inn and the Destiny Palms. The shuttle ran only once to Magic Kingdom and it was at about 7:00 am and did not return until late at night during the holidays. And to make matters worse, we found blood stains on a pillow and the hotel front desk clerk did not even care or was he willing to now refund our "resort fee" and could not remember whether or not he said it could be refunded. Do not stay at this location (8536 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial) no matter what it is called.

This is a great hotel for the price. The staff was very friendly.
There was a coffee maker, frig & toaster oven in the room. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there is a McDonald's and Hooligan's across the parking lot. I would definitely stay again.
