Dial House to be recommendedOwing to circumstances, I had to book Our accommodation very close to the date; so we were willing to take 'pot luck'. However, we were very pleasantly surprised just how lovely our room was and the service was excellent, the young lady who welcomed us late, owing to problems with travelling, could not have been more helpful. We had a ground floor room as I have some mobility problems so we did not see upstairs but feel sure it would have been to the same excellent standard.

Lovely, really enjoyed stayMy boyfriend and i stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend and it was lovely. Very peaceful, clean, good breakfast (choice of continental and or full english) and in a good location. Our room was situated at the back of the property and the patio door (the main door) opened into the garden. There were spaces for free parking at the side of the guest house. The staff was very pleasant throughout the stay and i would definately consider returning there again.

I've never written any reviews like this before, but feel compelled to for this particular hotel, as they really went out of their way to allow us to enjoy our stay. Just small things, but they make all the difference. This is not a chain of hotels and you can see the difference as the staff really care about your time with them. Really, if you are in the area and are looking for somewhere to stay, I recommend this place. Dec 07.

Hotels in this area are expensive. Dial House gave the same level of service and quality as you would get from any of the big chains charging 2 or 3 times more.

Great reception and very friendly attitude from all of the staff. Rooms were small (double) but were well appointed, clean and good for the stay. Parking good and even though late booking offered our party more than adequate accomodation. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Weekends are cheaper. Excellent selection of food for breakfast. Optional evening meals are on the expensive side for us. Business men stay during the week so they can be up early as breakfast is 7am till 9 am

We were very pleasantly surprised at the standard and quality of this hotel. From arrival to departure the staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast is more than adequate with the choice of continental or full English - which blows your diet out of the window!!The hotel is in a quiet area but within easy drive Windsor or Reading. When visiting relatives in this area we will plan on using this hotel again. Highly recommended.

dissapointingI booked this accomodation fairly late and had no problem being accomodated. The reception area was poor, a desk against the wall in the lobby, and the whole hotel followed in the same vein. It was very tired looking and dated decor and furniture. The staff were polite and friendly and appeared to be competant in what they did. I only had breakfast (which was reasonable, although rather slow in arriving) so I cannot comment on the restaurant quality, although the reason I didn't dine here was the very limited and expensive menu which my budget would not run to.

This place is fab. Exceptional hospitality, geninue and warm people. One guest in particular comes all the time, because he loves it here, and I can understand why. For a lone traveller, the company is excellent. I will certainly be coming back again. Food is as is with hotels, relatively pricey but in this case actually very nice as well. I had venison it was cooked like a dream. Wine's nice too. Breakfast is of a high standard. Sometimes I get the impression that the produce is quite poor quality but not in this case. Rooms, as they go these days, are modest but clean and comfy and quiet, so that's great. Although I speak of quietness with caution, as I sleep very soundly, so perhaps I am not the best judge.
