In addition there is a counter-service restaurant in the pool area, an all-you-care-to-eat buffet, and a coffee shop for specialty coffees and sweets. Lounges and bars are located throughout. "Never having stayed onsite, I wasn't disapointed with the hotel. It was almost everything I had hoped for... but the ""view"" room wouldn't have been worth the extra $$ if we hadn't gotten such a great deal! Food is hard to get after the place closed up, about 9pm, on site. The hotel was extra quiet, and beds very nice. Left our digital camera there, and they never found it... but other then that it was almost perfect!"

This is the first time I have stayed at a Disney property and I will stay again. The service was top notch and the room was great. The bed was comfortable and we wanted for nothing. It truly was a magical experience.

"Clean hotel with great service. We went for my daughter's 9th birthday. When I told the front office, they arranged for a signed photo from her favorite characters and a bunch of other goodies. She was thrilled!I highly recommend this hotel."

This hotel prides itself on Disney-specific decor, but it's dated and old-fashioned. The bath linens and shower curtains (at $300 a night? You're kidding me...) alone are cause for alarm - thin, raggedy, and rough...I'd say that they are simply capitalizing on their location and have forgotten that they are in the hotel business as well as entertainment. Way too expensive for the value provided. Also, they need to figure it out about expectations for TV - nothing but five or so in-house Disney-themed channels, sports, and news. No movies at all, which I found strange. I get the whole Disney immersion thing, but good grief - if the best info you can use to advertise your rooms is Tinkerbell wallpaper, you've probably missed the point of running a hotel, especially in light of plenty of competition in the area.

My 1st time staying at the Disneyland Hotel, and it was everything I expected. The room was a nice size, the beds were very comfortable and the pool was a great place to unwind. About the only thing I could complain about, is that there was no complementary coffee in the morning. This trip was an early graduation present for my daughter, who is graduating from college in May. We have stayed at a lot of hotels around Disneyland, and I must say the Disneyland Hotel was the best as far as hotels go. Booking it through are online agency was a real breeze. Definitely, a do again experience.

We wanted to stay at the Disneyland hotel for convenience and because we expected it to be very nice. Boy was it a disappointment. It was not convenient we would have done better at a good neighbor hotel taking a shuttle. Way overpriced. It was like paying 3 times the price for a budget hotel. The shower was a drizzle and looked terrible. The rooms were small and dated. Save your money and stay at a good neighbor hotel.
