General Description

The number of view rooms is as plentiful as the laid-back, beach-resort atmosphere at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. Guestrooms overlook the colorful Paradise Pier land of Disney's California Adventure park or relaxing views of the hotel's signature rooftop pool with its roller coaster inspired slide. Accommodations include mini-refrigerators and high-speed Internet connections. This boardwalk feel can be found in each of the deluxe Guestrooms as well. From the surfboard-shaped room number signs outside the door, to the Mickey Mouse lifeguard lamps and palm tree-lined bedspreads inside, the mood is a mix of nautical and nostalgic, but always decidedly Disney. Please note that there is a per-night resort fee of 11.50 (including tax) payable to the front desk. Effective, Friday, December 11, Disney's PCH Grill at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel will be re-themed from Lilo and Stitch Aloha Breakfast to Surf's Up. Breakfast with Mickey & Friends. All Characters at this Character Dining breakfast location will remain the same except Mickey Mouse will join Stitch, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Pluto. The new menu has been enhanced to complement the new entertainment experience and will be California themed. The A la Carte option will be eliminated at Disney's PCH Grill, however, Surfside Lounge at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel will offer a more robust traditional breakfast offering for Guests who wish to enjoy a non-character dining breakfast alternative. There will be no change to your 2009 or 2010 pricing for this Character Dining experience.

"Such a great place to stay!!! The location is perfect! It was a clean, very comfortable hotel with a friendly staff. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. It was soooo worth paying just a little bit more for!"

"My fiance proposed to me in Disneyland. When we checked in, we explained that we had just gotten engaged! The clerk said he would do something special for us. The next day we went to the park and came back to find that the staff had put rose petals on our bed that spelled out love, left us a balloon, and made a heart out of the towels. They even left us Mickey Mouse rice krispy treats. We plan on going every year for our anniversary. They made a memorable trip even more memorable and I can't say enough about our Disney experience. We will be back!"

I thought the location was great. We arrived early so we could buy tkts to disneyland and get in an hour early and take the monrail over...but when we arrived at 6am to check in we were told the tkting machine was out of order..and there was no way to buy tkts except at the front gate..so there fore we didnt get to get in an hour early OR ride the monarail over since we didnt have tkts...Cant believe they dont have a back up machine to buy your tkts for Disneyland,,,VERY POOR PLANNING on Disneys behalf..especially when we got the kids up at 4am..to arrive by 6am..and then couldnt get in early.

The room was big enough for queen beds, a sofa, desk, chair, armoire and it even had a little vanity area for all the girls to use. Nice touch. Located on the Disney grounds it was very close to Downtown Disney, Goofy's Kitchen and easy to walk to the main gate of Disneyland. We all enjoyed our stay and would have liked to stay longer.

Hotel is nice and reasonalble if you have an annual pass. Would stay at again but prefer the Grand california. I would stay at the marriot across the street if I didn't have annual pass to get the great rates.

It is wonderful to stay in the Disneyland resort and be close to the parks and downtown Disney, but this hotel is so overpriced. It didn't help that our final bill showed an added $13.80 per day--when we called to find out what this daily charge was, we were told it was for their additional services: the ""free"" Internet access, morning newspaper that we didn't read and came on only one of the three mornings of our stay, and the gym (which we didn't use at all). Was the front desk friendly? Not the person we encountered, who seemed bothered by my wishing to check in. For cleanliness, the table was sticky as was the hair dryer--not too nice to the touch. And no shampoo or lotion our first night! With all that, our family had a great vacation during the Thanksgiving holiday. But would we stay here again? Probably not.

Paradise Pier is a great place to start and end your Disneyland visit. Just a short walk to Disney, CA Adv, and Downtown Disney. Use of the Monorail or the special entrance at the Grand CA Resort is a plus for a quick entrance, and we took advantage of 1 morning of early admission into the park. In my opinion, the Lilo & Stitch Character Breakfast @ Paradise Pier is the most kid friendly of the three hotels in the Disneyland Park; however, we have enjoyed all of them. We were greeted with a family photo op with Minnie, and the children enjoyed the dance lesson with the characters. We certainly enjoyed our stay in Paradise and look forward to doing it again!

"My first trip to disney with my 3 yr ols and it was awesome, the short walk to the parks from the hotel is a graet benefit, the pool was nice, the staff was super friendly, fridges in the rooms is nice just need to get a microwave. self parking is really close to the rear entrance of the hotel, was left rice crispy treats by the staff in our room and disney character candy on the beds, my son loved them, really felt like part of the disney magic at this hotel"

"You can't beat the price if you want to stay at the resort cheaply. I was there 4 nights--room wasn't right at first, but the change was made at my convenience, and new room was upgraded. Beautiful. Short walk to Grand Californian, where you can enter the Park easily. Will be back in December."

"For the money this hotel was excellent, closeness to the disney parks was what we were looking for, the resteraunts had a great staff, very friendly especially with children, at night they would put candies on the beds and put some soft music on the radio in the room so when you came back from a long day of park hopping it was a relaxing atmosphere, the walk to the park is only 5-10 min tops, easy access thru Disneys California Grand Hotel. We are already planning our trip next to stay at the paradise Pier"
