I liked the staff. They were all very friendly, attentive, prompt with service. Everyone from front desk, security, maids, parking attendants. I did not like the coffee service machine in the room. Excellent hotel. Great service. Beautiful accommodations. I enjoyed my stay and would readily recommend this hotel to my friends, family and colleagues.

The cookies were great and the staff was very friendly. The cost for valet parking, which you had to do, was really high. This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The place was immaculately clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were gorgeous.

Hotel ambiance was superb: quiet atmosphere, non-intrusive staff. Room layout homey, beds very comfortable; shuttle service to PNC Park. Difficult using room card to unlock room door. Hotel was perfectly located for my trip - to PNC Park. Staff was very helpful, friendly. Easy to find my way from garage to hotel to room. I think Doubletree should be four-star.

I loved the free cookies and kids backpacks!! Unfortunately, water was out in the a.m. due to citywide water main break! The front desk girl was great and upgraded us to a suite, which is good for the kids, because I had my Honors card with me! What a nice surprise!

hotel was nice. I thought pricey for what you get; but, charging for parking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 38 dollars for 2 days! they claimed the parking garage was separate entity. must say dumb on my forehead. they had a passageway and the hotel elevator from the garage as well as being able to pay at the registration desk for garage charges. restaurant experience was awful. food sucked and very pricey. if going, eat somewhere else. they have a CREATIVE CHEF who over cooks the pasta and the fish made my daughter sick. she threw up all night long. for this lovely meal we paid 66 bucks plus.

The staff was great; the comfort top quality. It offered everything I want and need in a hotel. I cannot think of a thing. It met all of my expectations! I recommend this hotel highly; it is clean and comfortable. The staff bend over backwards to help make your stay the very best it can be. The location is great; you are within walking distance to major league sports, five star resturant and the Andy Warhol museum.

This used to be a Ramada Inn so I was somewhat reluctant to stay here. However, I was pleasantly suprised - great check in experience, friendly staff, best fitness facility in the city and free, free internet access. The hotel restaurant - Bigelow Grille was wonderful. I stay at the Omni last year but the Doubletree has Suites for the price of a standard room at the Omni.

The staff were gracious, friendly and accommodating. There was an odor in the room, no exhaust fan in bathroom. Other than the odor, there is no free parking in or near the hotel.

The hotel was in a great part of the city, very accessible to everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle service was great! We didn't drive anywhere all weekend. The only problem we had was with the valet. The only time we did get our car out of the garage it took over 45 minutes to get our car, and we eventually went to retrieve it ourselves at the garage. The manager of the garage was very rude and began yelling at us that it wasn't his fault the service was so slow, there were just too many cars. When the issue was brought to the attention of the hotel staff, they apologized and explained that the valet employees were not hotel employees, the garage is leased and run by another company. The hotel manager did compensate our valet expense due to the lack of service.

The location in Downtown Pittsburgh was very convenient. I was surprised to find out that valet parking was the only parking option. My family visited this hotel for a one day stay while visiting the Carnegie Science Center. After having some trouble figuring out how to get into the parking garage I was surprised when the attendant told me it was valet-only. Parking was $18/night which is steep. Aside from that, the hotel was extremely nice. The staff was friendly except for the fitness club desk attendant who was a little stuffy about our use of the pool.

Great beds. Internet wasn't working. Very disappointing for business travelers. Hard to Navigate the area. Hard to find by car if you aren't familiar with the area, much likes the rest of the city. One wrong turn takes you 20 minutes to wind back around.

The room was gorgeous and quite big. We did not eat in the dining room because it was on the expensive side. They took out an extra $50 in case I wanted to charge anything. The room was paid in full before I arrived. I called them about the $50 and they said it should be back in my account within two days. I'm still waiting.

The hotel accommodated our sleeping arrangements of 2 adults and 2 children. Not aware that room w/2 double beds & cot would be fire hazard until time of check in. We (2 adults) had 2 children with us as well. We had originally reserved a room with two double beds and ordered a cot; however, we were not made aware that the cot was not allowed in a room with two double beds due to causing a fire hazard until time of check in. The hotel accommodated us by providing a suite with a king sized-bed, pull out sofa bed, and a cot at no extra charge to us.

Convenient location. Paying $18.00 per night for parking. The hotel was clean and close to the stadium so it was great for our stay. We enjoyed seeing Pittsburgh and staying here.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was never made up after the first night and people in the next room were loud at 3 a.m. and our car window was left open all night! Convenient to everything and friendly staff. Guests should be reminded that they will be ask to leave if they disturb. The view of Mellon arena was great and the city looks great all light up at night.

Good breakfast at hotel's restaurant, downtown location. Smoking room given as non-smoking, room AC didn't work and was noisy. We had requested a non-smoking room. We were given a supposedly non-smoking room but it had a strong smoking smell everywhere. We had to leave the windows open and AC turned on throughout our 4 day stay. We were promised a new room on 2nd day but didn't get one as hotel was full. AC went down on 3rd day. It kept on switching between low-high-economy-auto modes every second, didn't honor the set temp and the switching was so noisy that I couldn't sleep. Parking was very expensive (18-20$). Maybe it was the downtown factor. In summary, if it would not have been the persistent smell of smoke in the room.
