The room was comfortable with a king bed and sitting area. Extra amenities. toiletries and warm cookie. Added to the experience. It is a little difficult to find at first arrival, but it was well worth the hunt. We were very pleased with the overall package and the extremely reasonable rate. The desk staff was very cordial both at check in and departure. The rooms were attractively decorated to appeal to the traveler's comfort and sense of style.

Complimentary warm cookies at check-in, pool & hot-tub area nice, spacious, clean room, upscale lobby. Breakfast seemed a little expensive. Traveling with 3 children and two adults, made this so convenient. Our remote did not work well for the television. The staff was very friendly. Very nice hotel.

Great, comfortable bed. Room did not have a window that opened fresh air. Upon checking in there was no record of my reservation. The staff was very helpful, even though there was nothing they could do until the information.

Front desk, room service food was excellent. Dirty carpet in room. Upgrade style was nice but work was kind of shabby. Hard to say, if you overlooked a few things, it was great. All help that we ran into had definite "can do" attitudes. Food was great, people were great, hot tb jets were great. Could have been cleaner which tome is the most important thing, but the help's attitude over compensated for that!

Seemed clean. Little hard to find. I had read some reviews, and some of them were pretty negative. Apparently the things that were criticized have been correct.

The Double Tree was very comfortable, the room was roomy and was nice for a family of four. The hotel was very clean and always smelled fresh. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Cleanliness, top quality bedding. Was undergoing a renovation but wasn't too inconvenient. Great cookies, clean rooms, excellent quality mattresses and pillows. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very modern and updated. Sloppy grouting in bathroom along granite. Great-very ultra-modern-not sure about family friendliness. We didn't have any with us and didn't' see/hear any either. Fabulous bed and shower.

The room and lobby spaces were decorated nicely and clean. Our tub did not drain well, but this was a minor nuisance. I would stay there again. Great value.

Loved the addition of all the art and artistic touches throughout this hotel. They need to clean up the caulking in the bath and touch up the growing rust in same. The recent updating of the public spaces is unique and full of wonderful pieces of art throughout. The positioning of the bar in the open area right off the entrance was wonderful and created a very cozy feel to the space. The rooms have also been updated very tastefully and with wonderfully comfortable beds!

Room was nice. Friendly staff. What threw me off was that there were many dirty plates left outside our room and other rooms for the whole day that we stayed. Like I said...I expected more.

Very comfortable beds. No light for the shower/tub. Internet should be free. The room with a king bed was spacious and very comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable. The bathroom was very nice, but the lights over the sink area do not provide much light for the shower/tub area. The exercise room is small but modern. The inside pool area looked nice although I didn't use it.

Location. Staff was rude, room cleaning not thorough, elevators could not facilitate the number of people in the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I will not stay there again.

It¿s newly renovated. The food is awful. The doubletree Westport hotel has been transformed into a modern hotel with numerous amenities. It¿s nestled away in a residential neighborhood and is a great value for any traveler.

The staff made us feel welcomed and were very helpful. They did not offer a complimentary breakfast of any kind. We were very pleased with our stay. The staff was very friendly and quick to meet our requests. My son also enjoyed the complimentary cookies!

We came into town for Mardi Gras and had a great time. The shuttles to Westport Plaza were awesome so we could keep the party going after leaving downtown.Will stay here next year

Everything about the hotel was what I expected. The only drawback that for most wouldn't be a problem was the bed. Although is has excellant covering, the bed was not as comfortable as others I had slept in. I sleep on my side and this bed caused shoulder pain. Other than that, Sunday is the worst day to use the elevator. You have to wait 5 - 10 minutes to get one. Overall quality is very good. I would recommend this to anyone.

Beds, linens, & towels were great, service staff was excellent, front desk was staff great. Handicapped shower a joke, lighting non existent in shower area, small, low toilets a joke in handicapped room. Comfort was very good, price was great, staff was excellent. Difficult to find first time, staff could not explain how to get there. Bathrooms need a lot of attention a complete makeover. Hot water was difficult to get.

We were able to have adjoining rooms. The pool was clean. Thick towels. My husband thought the bed was too soft. We were very comfortable at this hotel, and may make it a New Years tradition.

The free warm cookies at check in. The pool & hot tub were under construction. And I wasn't told. Its ok not worth the money we spent the food was over priced, we had to wait 15 minutes to wash our hands and shower in hot water. The pool was under construction we had to fing out the hard way. Bottom line I should have went somewhere else.

Fancier than expected. Bigger than expected and packed with people in the lobby. Excellent room. This Doubletree was ritzy (to me). The room was very clean, which is a big plus. There was a couple wedding parties in the lobby, so it was pretty busy. Sometimes as a business traveler, you really want to see as few people as possible and just get to your room.

Location was excellent and the beds and bedding were superior. Dinner hours for restaurant were almost non-existent and made it inconvenient. Overall a very nice quality hotel experience. Access to interstates and Westport entertainment areas was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good size room and very well decorated, attractive hotel and location. I left behind an item in the room by accident. I tried twice, but never received a call back about my lost item. Good experience, except for the lack of responsiveness about my lost item.

"Upon arrival, the room we were assigned to hadn't been cleaned. After contacting the careline, I was transferred to the front desk notifying them of my situation. They immediately assigned us to a new room and even bought the keys up. My name was used numerous times upon check-in & check-out. My family & I were very pleased with everything the hotel had to offer. We would stay here again."
