You'll find Eastwood Hall is a great base for visiting Nottingham Castle, Sherwood Forest. Slightly further afield, explore Chatsworth House or take a brisk walk or romantic stroll in the outstanding Peak District National Park. After a busy day, there's an inviting indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a spa pool, a fully-equipped gym, tennis courts, acres of grounds and a relaxing bar back at Eastwood Hall which all overnight guests should take advantage of. Childrens splash times are available on a Saturday and Sunday between 3pm and 5pm and daily throughout the school holidays between 12:30pm and 1:30pm.

Very friendly staff, wished I could have stayed longerto enjoy the leisure facilities. Rooms a bit on the small side but nicely finished and have everything you need. Ate out as found the dinner menu to be pricey for what it was.Would stay again.

Birthday breakThis was a stopover on our way home from Cornwall for a special birthday treat. The meal and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. Only therefor one night so did not try the spa so can't comment on that.

Nice hotel great health club and the locals are friendly.Great place to hold a conference good surroundings would like an outdoor jogging track roud the grounds.

Good location with nice grounds surrounding the conference centre. Service, food and cleanliness all of very good standard. My only criticism was the long distance walk required from reception to the rooms. Excellent value for money with the discount offered by LateRooms.com.

A large conference/banquet type hotel with many rooms and plenty of parking. The hotel facilities were of an high standard. The stay was on a Friday night and the common areas of the hotel were quiet and often deserted, although can imagine it being very busy mid-week with the large amount of conference suites available. There was to be 3 weddings on the Saturday so again I can guess it would be much busier. Room was comfortable and at £69.00 was well worth the cost. The village of Eastwood is a 10 mins walk from the hotel and offers local shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a morrisons supermarket with petrol station 2 minutes drive away.

Hotel very easy to find and well sign posted. Car park good. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Rooms okay but not much difference between ordinary and superior so is it worth the extra? Dinner was very overpriced for what we had - £15 for a luke war main course and £5 for a pudding - OTT if you ask me. Breakfast was poor - no bread, hot chocolate machine broken, croissants all hard and lack of fruit. There should also be a notice saying that any leisure facilities are for over 18 or all the family - my 12 year old wanted to swim but could not as over 18's only. Good snooker tables and table football.

GoodRoom was a little cold and no cover on duvet which was off-putting. Couldn't have the bedside lamp on as it buzzed very loudly. I didn't complain about either at the time but I am sure the staff would have reoslved. Other than that, it was ideal for a night...clean, good location and couteous staff.

The good:-Nice sized room / comfortable double bedComplimentary bottle of wine / jelly beans v welcome.Great leisure facilities.Needs work:-No in-room dining / hotel charges for wireless - should be free (doesn't cost hotel anything....)
