Quiet clean room, plenty of space, awesome breakfast. Everything was great, no complaints. The hotel has a beautiful plush lobby, seating area and nice spacious lounge off lobby. Rooms are very quiet, beds very comfortable. Hotel has easy access to that all important trip to the shopping mall.

Staff treated me like I was thier only treasured guest - was like having my own personal 24/7 concierge! TV's were in a transistion phase to flatscreens. Remotes were finicy. Traveling up to this rather uneventfully looking monolith of a building set in a nice park like atmosphere, was a set up for the incredible experience that lay just inside the front doors. You are immediately greeted by the soothing sounds of the large courtyard fountain and no fewer than two friendly faces. Every call to the front desk was begun with a friendly and enthusiastic, The internal atrium grounds were immaculate and exceptionally well kept. The rooms were spacious, smartly adorned, and welcoming. Only minimal noises from the outside or other rooms were audible. Suite had two flat screen TV's (unfortunately, remotes were finicky - due to the converter boxes still in the process of being installed - very understandable, due to the stage of the process). The only shortfall was the New Orleans style restaurant, Lafittes. A pleasant atmosphere,and nice complimentary wine in the evening (manager's reception), but I could have done without the bartenders audible commentary about the sports shows on the TV, and a new cook forgot my request for a sandwich to be undressed (as was the recommended order nomenclature described on the menu). Food was acceptable. The sweet potato soufflé is a must-try, however, but do it as a desert-not a side. Overall, I give this relaxing and hospitable place.

Traveling with 2 boys (10&11) it was a great experience. Breakfast was great, Managers reception was great. Pool was in great shape. Staff was very friendly. We would stay there again if we are in the Chicago area.

A very unique hotel. The rooms have french doors that open to a beautiful atrium. The room was comfortable and the made to order breakfast was a nice surprise. We would consider staying here again.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Nice rooms, clean, and friendly service. The complimentary breakfast and the evening reception are wonderful perks. I highly reccommend this hotel.

Got to the hotel late (past 9:30 p.m.). Hadn't been there in years and couldn't see the parking lot or where to drive. The desk clerk was outstanding when I asked if she knew the parking lot was dark. She got right on it and got the lights on. At breakfast the next morning the hostess was so welcoming and overall helpful. They made it feel like they were glad we were there and whatever they could do to make the stay a good one they'd try to do. I haven't seen that level of professionalism in the industry in quite a while. Good job Schaumburg Embassy Suites!

These suites aren't much larger than a normal hotel room, so the sitting area comes at the expense of a cramped sleeping area. Also, my room was poorly lit and the furniture looked a bit run down.On the positive side, the atrium architecture is great, the weekday evening reception with free drinks was enjoyable, and the free breakfast buffet is among the best as far as free buffets go. If you're traveling with a family, these freebies can make the room rate a bargain.

I like the idea of a suite. The bathtub drain/pipes knocked (made annoying sounds)all night.
