We went to beach and swam at pool. It was a good vacation, there where a few things I didn't like such as: the checkout time was very early, the ceiling fan in room made alot of noise, the room was very small for price.

The condo was great. We liked that it was located on the beach so that we didn't have to cross busy Seawall Blvd. Even though it wasn't in the middle of it all, we did not mind the short drive to the attractions we visited. We preferred being away from the traffic. The pool was very clean and heated. There is an area with water about 10 inches deep. It was perfect for my 3 year old to splash around on. While in Galveston, we visited Moody Gardens, played Magic Carpet Miniature Golf, went to the beach & went to The Strand and toured an old sail boat named Elissa. We dined at Rain Forest Cafe and Salsa's. We shopped at Wal-Mart and Target. There is a movie theatre, post office, many restaurants and shops. Overall the island was beautiful even though it is still recovering from Hurricane Ike. The beach does not have the cleanest sand or clearest water but it was still enjoyable.

It was a great location right on the beach away from the tourist areas. The room was very nice and a wonderful deal! The only issue we had was that the boardwalk from the hotel to the beach was vandalized and the gate broken so no one could use it the entire time we were there. There was no apparent attempt made to repair the gate so it was blocked for access. Other than that, our stay was quite enjoyable and comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable, covered parking (if you are lucky enough to get one), staff was friendly and it's right on the beach! It's a few miles from the Seawall but it was great because it was quiet at night. The shower was awesome with lots of water pressure.

Staff was very nice and friendly and allowed us to swim in pool prior to our 4:00 check-in. View of Gulf and pretty southwest beach houses was great from side of our 5th floor room. Only complaints were 1 bedroom room was very small in kitchen/den area and porch was very very small , frige Ice maker didnt work but bought bottled/canned drinks anyway, roll out bed was very uncomfortable for our kids - our bed was great, though. Everything smelled fresh and new as Ike had caused them to have to repaint - but they said basically no structruall damage. Beach walkway was nice to have to get to the beach. I would recommend it, but I woudl get the bigger rooms for 4 or more people.

Location is great.... one of the few places to stay that is directly on the beach.... The deal i got on-line was well worth it!!! Staff at hotel aren't that helpful, but we had already been to Galveston so that wasn't that big of deal to us... pool is nice, but crowded... bring extra items such as paper towels and toilet paper cause they charge you if you run out of what is initially provided.... Overall, we would stay there again...

My families experience was very , very nice. The room was classy. The location was great and believe it or not the entire staff was extremely friendly, and thorough and helpful. A very rare thing these days. I feel like I received a very solid value for what we received at this hotel. The pool and jacuzzi were awesome and very clean. The towels were kinda scratchy . Just kidding. A very nice place to stay. Definately would recommend.

"This was a very nice condo property for a weekend get-away. It was clean and obviously well-tended. We didn't think the pool was too small because the beach is right there. The boardwalk to the beach is very nice. However, the gate is locked at 10 p.m., making it difficult to access the beach for a nighttime stroll, other than that the unit is clean, spacious and beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would tell my friends about this lovely condo. "
