For a clean, comfortable and budget-friendly hotel in the city centre of Madrid, look no further than Euromadrid. With Gran Via at your doorstep, you're steps away from Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza Callao. Culture vultures who don't wish to walk can take the metro, only two minutes on foot, to easily get to the Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen museums. The air-conditioned rooms are simple, small and traditionally furnished but perfectly adequate for the night, with private bathrooms, hairdryers, satellite TVs, safety boxes and minibars. Only a continental breakfast is served, but not to worry, there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the immediate area. Other hotel facilities include a laundry service and 24-hour reception desk, with a public car park just 100 metres from the hotel.

Simple but perfect!The room was very small but for the cheap price it's ideal with absolutely lovely staff! They were really friendly and helpful and you can leave your bags behind reception if your flight isn't till late in the day. Yes there's some noise from outside but it's not horrendous and no worse than any resort hotel. The hotel is also walking distance from the Madrid tour bus route and the metro. If you like space and perks go to the Ritz but if you just want a base close to town that is very clean, comfortable and with good aircon then this is the place for you.

Clean & Functional although single glazings makes it noisy overnight!You get what you pay for. Clean and functional room. Right in the centre of Madrid and walking distance to everywhere you really want to go. Plenty of cafe, bars and restaurants so the fact that the hotel does not cater for food is not an issue. Wee cafe right on it's doorstep.Single glazing and resultant noise overnight is a problem though if you're a light sleeper.

Clean, central hotelThe room was fairly basic but very cheap, which was the main reason for staying there. Great central location and very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent value for money
