Excellant hotel. Great location. Quiet at the weekends. Perfect for exploring NYC!!!Great location, nr Wall Street and the water (South Port Ferry). Two minutes walk to ferry for Liberty island and Staten Island. Two minutes to bus stop for City Sights NY open top bus (a must for seeing NYC). We were upgraded on arrival (it was my friend's birthday) and stayed in a massive room with two double beds, big plasm screen, leather couches and a desk. Bathroom = slightly disappointing compared to quality of room (5*), although bathroom was clean and well proportioned. Be careful using calling cards from hotel. Consult hotel first as i was charged, despite following instructions on calling card.Staff friendly and helpful. All in all, a perfect and great value choice to see NYC.Wished we could have stayed longer.Thank you Eurostar!!!

Clean, nicely decorated rooms with friendly staff. Location is not optimal for sightseeing, but is a definite plus if doing business in Wall Street. The suite had a full kitchen, separate sitting room area and a spacious master bedroom. Both the sitting room and the master bedroom had a flat-panel TV. Convenient to the subway and Wall Street but might be too much work if sightseeing.

The rate was excellent. It is not centrally located. We have stayed at The Exchange before. The lobby was being renovated the last time. It's an improvement. The complimentary breakfast is a plus. The staff is friendly and helpful. The carpets are weird and should be replaced.

Great location for statue of liberty, brooklyn bridge, wall street stock exchange, Trump building etc. Subway nearby to other locations. Staff were very amenable, although sometimes slighty slow in responding, usually because not many on duty at times. Safe area, and lots to see nearby for a few days. Overall a nice hotel and very accomodating and polite staff!:)

Modern and Chic. Located close enough to enjoy the city. A/C and temperature control. Shower head and faucet shady. Overall, I'm tremendously pleased with the Exchange hotel. The staff was courtesy and the room was exceptional. I stayed in the suite and it had everything someone would want or need. However, the lack of temperature control had the room feeling like a sauna. It made for poor sleeping. If they get this fixed then this would beat out anyhotel.

The staff gave us a beautiful room. The carpets in the room were kind of weird. The hotel is located in the financial district in downtown Manhattan. Due to construction, the closest subway stations were closed, but it was easy to get around. The staff was very helpful. We got in at around 2:00 am on Saturday morning without having eaten dinner, and they were able to recommend a restaurant with good food and great prices that delivered right to our room. The room was lovely - we had skylights, since we were on the top floor. Short walk to the East River and South Street Seaport. Very quiet on the weekend.

Convenient location, very nice design. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful; free wireless internet, bag check, room was really large. The bathtub was not perfectly clean, but otherwise all was perfect. Hotel stay was excellent. Location is great - next to the subway station and everything else in Manhattan. The staff was very friendly and helpful; hotel room was very pretty and stylish, and very big for NYC; had a nice view, too. Free wireless internet was very convenient; there's also a free computer to use in the lobby if you did not bring your laptop. The only negative I can think of is that the bathtub had some residue on it, but that can happen to (almost) anyone. Would highly recommend the hotel.

The hotel had a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. Out of the way unless you want to be near Wall Street. This is a wonderful hotel with beautifully decorated rooms, microwaves, mini fridges, but it's a bit out of the way. I would only stay in this area again if I needed to be near Wall Street.

Small, sophisticated environment, friendly, very helpful staff. A little too far from the subway, but you can't have everything. Almost perfect for the occasions like I said it was a little to fair from the subway for me. Only because it was so cold otherwise, no complaints. The staff of the hotel was great!

Clean interiors, good service, high class facilities, decent locality andhappy experience. Not much variety in complimentary breakfast. The hotel can add such items like cereals, eggs for vegetarians. Overall, the hotel was a good experience. They had a big spacious room, nice, cool looking interiors, flat screen TV mounted on the wall. The location of the hotel was very good. It was right next to Wall Street. Accessibility was good. Customer service was very good so was room service. All our requests were tended to without delay. I would definitely recommend to all my friends. The only downside was complimentary breakfast. They didn't have much variety. We were expecting them to have cereals, eggs etc. My mom was diabetic so she could not taste the cookies and pastries. We ended up not having much breakfast at the hotel. Overall, I would rate 9/10

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They were eager to ensure I had an excellent experience. I was extremely pleased with my stay. I arrived early in the morning and was unable to immediately check into my room, but sensing my fatigue, the hotel staff made their best efforts to get a room as soon as it was available. When I entered my room I was blown a way by its spaciousness and modern decor. Everything was very clean and well presented. I would definitely stay again.

I was very pleased with the accomodations. For me it was a bit out of the way-but that proved to be nice in the end. The hotel did not have much in the way of food service-but there were many places to get food that were close by-and that was my preference anyway. I would probably stay there again. The room was quite spacious and was very clean. The hotel was quiet. there was ample room to spread out and I felt very safe.

Newly renovated and very modern. Close to subway. Free parking in front of the hotel in the weekend. This hotel is located in a building with an unassuming exterior. But everything changes when you enter the hotel. It was newly renovated and it is very modern. The reception area is pretty small but this is New York, right. It has a small bar in which you will have the included breakfast (pretty good - no eggs). We got the two-queen beds room which was the biggest room I ever stayed in NY (can't afford the expensive hotels). Besides the two big beds there was room for a couch and an armchair; not to mention the LDC flat screen TV. The bathroom was excellent. You have a free computer with internet to use in the hallway and you can even print stuff for free. Wireless internet is available in the room free of charge. The subway stations are nearby (less than 5 minutes walk). Two subway lines are in walking distance on Wall Street. During the weekend the street in front of the hotel has free parking. Overall the hotel was an unexpected surprise and I will stay there again. I am still confused why it is a 2 1/2 star hotel and not a 3 star hotel.

Plasma screen TV and other electronics. Breakfast should include bananas and other variety. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly. The only suggestion I might add is to put a key swipe at the entrance to the hotel that way only patrons are allowed in side. Their was no problem with this during my visit, I just think that it should be avoided at all cost. Very clean, large by NYC standards room. I enjoyed my stay very much. Staff was friendly and they had plasma screen TVs. Ideal for couples and business people for sure! I am sure the double rooms would work for a family.

Right off Wall Street. Clean, quite, friendly and helpful staff. Free WiFi. The room was a decent size, nicely decorated in a Euro style. The TV was a flat panel mounted on the wall, refrigerator, microwave, nice size walk in closet. The room had an ironing board but was missing an iron. The bed was great. firm with nice decent bedding. Bathroom was all new fixtures with basin style sink. The room did not have a desk so you have to work on the bed. I would stay there again. Staff was very friendly and helpful suggesting where to dine or shop. I would definitely stay there again when in lower Manhattan.

The atmosphere was excellent for New York and the rooms were spacious. While the Exchange Hotel is probably meant for business travelers, in the downtown area, we found the location to be good for sightseeing as well. With a subway stop just 2 blocks away, everything was within easy reach. I had my wife and our 16 month daughter with me, and we felt very welcomed by all of the staff; I believe they even upgraded our room for free.

Big room, great serviceI recently visited NYC and stayed at this hotel whilst catching up with old friends, having a bit of a shop, etc. The staff including front office, housekeeping, and bell boys were all fantastic. The only negative aspect of the room was the fact that the trash is collected at 1 am and 5 am from two neighbouring office buidlings and the noise is obtrusive. Also when we asked for an extended check out, the MINX who was duty manager did not even look at us, let alone address us, and turned us down. The hotel did not have full occupancy and this young lady should really get out of hospitality as she has no people skills.

The layout of the room and the fact that it had a fridge in it. The only thing that could have been better would be the shower. The hotel met my expectations. The room had a lot of space to move around. The people were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and I would return to it in the future.

Small hotel, close to subway and Century 21 dept store . The continental breakfast is nice but food runs out but coffee is very good. Just that they ran out of food at breakfast and it was not properly supervised. The Exchange Hotel is a nice hotel in Wall Street. It is close to the subway and the staff is very nice. I would stay there again. The rooms are attractive although they could use a desk in them. The hotel is small and that makes it a bit charming.

Elegant setting, helpful and friendly staff. Our room smelled like smoke, even though it was not a smoking room. The lobby is very comfortable, yet elegant. The Seaport setting is perfect for walks and shopping. Our room was spacious and modern, with WiFi and the staff was exceptional. Loved it and will recommend it to friends and family.

The room was amazing. Unless you need to stay in the financial district, there are more convenient places to stay. The room was awesome. We stayed in the double deluxe room which had plenty of space. There was a mini-frig, microwave, separate seating area with plasma TV, a ton of closet space and a desk area. There was also free wireless Internet access. The room and hotel were clean and the staff was very friendly with late night dining suggestions.

Excellent service, flat panel TV, refrigerator and close to all transportation, quiet. Nothing. The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff is comforting in this day and age when service seems to require a large premium at some other hotels and even with that, it is not a guarantee! Wireless internet along with modern looking rooms will make this a must stay hotel for us. The bar is not busy but once the secret gets out, downtown area workers may make it a secret hip spot.

Location, price, and comfort. Aminor quibble: orange juice at breakfast would have been great but not essential to the experience. Excellent in every way.

The hotel was ultra modern with a great staff and in room amenities. The lounge was closed due to a licensing change. A fairly newly remodeled hotel. Very urban with wonderful room appointments. Location was great, it felt as though you were not in the city, being that close to the water, but had the convenience of the city around.

Huge room with skylights. Flat screen TV. Free continental breakfast. No water pressure in the shower. TV came on by itself at 6:00 am. The hotel is a small 8 floor hotel very close to the South Street Seaport. The front desk was very helpful and nice. The lounge served good drinks until midnight. I was disappointed with the water pressure in the shower and it took twice as long to rinse the shampoo out. There was a flat screen TV and microwave and mini fridge and lovely skylights on the 8th floor. I would stay here again.

The room was lovely, very romantic and tucked away, but also convenient to many tourist attractions and to Brooklyn! There weren't many convenient shops/restaurants nearby that were open on the weekends. Exchange Hotel is a lovely little getaway hotel tucked into the heart of the Financial District, only a stone's throw away from the South Street Seaport, the Stock Exchange, the Brooklyn Bridge and convenient to subways lines that can take you anywhere in Manhattan or Brooklyn. Particularly convenient for singles or couples interested in exploring Brooklyn or lower Manhattan. Lovely rooms, friendly staff at affordable cost.

Very friendly and helpful staff, efficient, and very attentive. Location was just a little out of the way, but not bad. They didn't have robes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was clean, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were really helpful and attentive. I was surprised that they didn't have bath robes, but hey, who really cares!
