Great place home away from home all the amenities needed. Great place except no swimming pool to enjoy they need to have one put in! I, myself, has been using hotels for over a year now. Found ESA a great place to stay and stay without having to go out to eat every night, has an kitchen in the room, top stove without oven, microwave oven, full size refrigerator, even kitchen sink, with all the dishes, pots and pans, all that is needed to enjoy in a home, lots of room to move around in comfortable bed, Wi-Fi for Laptop, on site laundry reasonable $1 wash, $1 dry. The staff is excellent. If you need anything they will try to accommodate you. As for me I broken my left foot on the property and they helped me with just about anything to meet my needs. I will continue to use this hotel as I am between homes and I highly recommend others to give this place a try. Nice-quite-private, only drawback is no pool to enjoy.

Basic, seemed clean, no smell. Nice long counter in bathroom. Don't recall a recliner or desk, just a table and two chairs. Grossly obnoxious manager at front desk. Could be heard loudly chastising an employee over the phone as we were checking in. Just one of many crude things she did. Complete turnoff. Hotel famous for overbooking and leaving people in a lurch. Beware. In the instance of some of our group, at least they helped them relocate to the Ramada and paid the difference. Still, it meant we were not all together.

Clean, comfortable, friendly staff & excellent value. This efficiency hotel was perfect for our needs. Our trip was for business as well as pleasure and the convenience of having the full kitchen worked out very well for us. The location was central to everything for us and the value was outstanding. Clean rooms, friendly staff and great mountain views. We will definitely stay here again.

I was very pleased with the staff and the accomodations. I think people need to understand that if your paying under * a night that its not going to be the ritz. Asheville ESA was a great value and I would definately stay there again and recommend. Oh and for those that stay in a hotel during a festival, there are going to be families and kids, get over it.

Asheville is a beautiful place with lots to see and do. This motel had a good location but was lacking in cleanliness. The dishes and silverware stuck in the cabinets and the ceiling in the bathroom was gross. I've had good experiences before with ES, but this wasn't one of them.

I have stayed with ESA prevoously, on a long-term basis (3 months) and they have always provided me with dependable service. This is not a place for a wild time, but a place to count on for a clean, quiet room.
Asheville is a great place to visit, but there are no affordable hotels in the downtown area. This is the closest I have been to downtown, and still have an affordable room.
My only negative comment was the poor young lady at the counter was clearly flustered with an influx of arrivals, she didn't seem to have any help, and it was 7 pm on a Friday night!

Our rooms were very basic and not very clean, although not gross. There was no place to store our trash, and we had to open the windows as the room had a very funny smell. We traveled with family and my sister's room on the first was fine, but the other two rooms had an unpleasant smell and were very run down. This is a basic hotel, for a low price, but I was disappointed by the smell and condition of the room and bathroom.

Had complete eating facilities thus saving us from eating outside. Nothing. Much nicer than another Extended Stay we stayed at which had very hard mattresses.
