Extendedstay Houston Medical Center is located approximately a mile from Six Flags Astroworld and 25 miles from George Bush Intercontinental Airport. This location is also one mile from Reliant Park/Expo Center, two miles from the Museum of Fine Arts and Miller Outdoor Theater, four miles from Minute Maid Park and downtown Houston, and 10 miles from the Galleria. Hotel amenities include the swimming pool, picnic area, fitness center, free continental breakfast, laundry/valet service, free outdoor parking, and limited shuttle service. All rooms feature full kitchens, coffeemakers, cable TV, high-speed Internet access (fee), voicemail, hairdryers, and irons. Pet Policy- One pet per room is allowed. A 25 USD cleaning fee will be charged per night, not to exceed 150 USD. This charge will be applied at check-in.

The best was the internet connection. It looks old and was not inviting. The hotel was not in good shape, old carpets and a kind of hospital feeling. The location is close to lots of hospitals. The front desk was friendly. I was a bit surprised to find a armed security officer at the hotel when I checked out in the morning.

Good location. Very clean. No sharp knife in kitchen. I wasn't sure what to expect, but must say I was very pleased. The staff was friendly. The hotel was very clean. The room was clean and in good condition. I would stay at this location again.

The amenities offered. The size of the room and also the staff seemed untrained. The hotel was very comfortable, clean and had extras that I did not expect. I enjoyed my stay very much. The room could have been cleaner and cleaned better but it was an overall good experience.

I have stayed here on two occasions and my room has been dirty both times. I was not happy with my stay, my room the first time had a dirty tub with black foot prints all in it and did not have a coffee pot in room. My second stay I found beer bottle caps in the kitchen and not coffee for coffee pot. When I told management, I felt I was being blown off.

near Astroworld mine was the 3rd time cars had windows smashed and items stolen The internet preview said the hotel was in a safe area, but I was awakened at 12:30 in the morning to inform me that my driver's-side window was smashed and police were on their way. Just quarters and $19 of air freshener were stolen from my car, but I was traveling with 2 teenage girls and was at a loss how to clear the glass and secure my car. The next morning guests at the hotel, not personnel, helped me clear the glass. One guest said the same thing happened 2 days before. The desk clerk told us it had happened twice before.

The beds were comfortable. That there was only one queen bed in the room. The hotel was comfortable but I expected a room with either a king or two queen beds plus a pull out couch. Since I was traveling with my sister and my daughter I would have preferred for us to have more sleeping room. Also it would be nice it they served a light continental breakfast.

Having my own kitchen was great. However, some items were lacking in the kitchen equipment, like bowls or table spoons. When I entered the room I noticed that it had been treated with some air freshener. Later, I figured out why; the room had a terrible smell I noticed whenever I walked in.

Well equipped and conveniently located Stood in lobby for 17 minutes before being waited on Arrived at hotel just before midnight and pulled up to front doors. Walked in and stood at counter for 17 minutes before being waited on. No bell to ring to inform anyone of my being there. Room was very nice and clean and check-out went very well. Stayed at another hotel in area and wished i would have stayed in this one the next day.

Had a good bed and space & internet. Didn't have a good chair to rest in. Was close to the MD Anderson Clint and was ok but needed a recliner to sit in.

Great location, nice staff. Smoking in hallway in a non smoking area. Everything was nice the staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean. Located in a nice part of town.
