Studio of convenience with kitchen, refrigerator, sink, etc. Smell of smoke in hallway, no bathtub.

The walls of our floor and our room were freshly painted. BUT Undergoing renovation & painting. Undergoing renovation and painting - not forewarned. Our room was on a "completed" floor, but management had obviously not done the finishing touches: no light/lamp at bedside/night table; no minor amenities (Kleenex, bathroom cups, pad or pencil; decaf-only coffee in room; phone at nightstand inoperative -- had to go to kitchen for phone; etc. We don't expect a "free" breakfast, but since they supposedly offered it, it was a joke compared to other hotels -- and I'm not referring only to the "upscale" hotels drop this one from list until renovations are complete and they are ready to receive guests.

It was lovely and clean; friendly staff; internet access. The complimentary breakfast was very very skimpy. I was pleasantly surprised with the Extended Stay Deluxe hotel off I-40's Exit 281. It had a European feel and was clean and lovely. We enjoyed the pool, large suite, and exercise room. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was disappointing; we would have preferred more choices.

I had stayed at ESD hotels in other cities, so I was a little apprehensive. This was part of a Last Minute Trip, so for the price, I couldn?t beat it. But I was pleasantly surprised. While it is not a five star hotel, it was a very pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. While they offer shuttle service, I find that the $15 (including a generous tip) cab ride was worth it for late arrivals. I am planning another visit to RDU and I will definitely stay here again.

It was convenient and had a nice kitchen. The rest was terrible. No phonebook, no telephone cover to tell me what the buttons were, couldn't take a shower the first day because the water would not cool off, toothpaste splatter on the bathroom mirror when I arrived in the room, did not sleep well the first night because the fridge rattled (ended up unplugging it), had to change rooms, a/c didn't work in 2nd room so I slept with the windows opened all night with bright lights shining in the room didn't sleep well. Had to make my own trashcan in the bathroom because there was only one can in the room. When I told the staff about the problems in the first room, I was cut off and told that I could have a new room that afternoon; they didn't seem concerned about fixing the problems. I let the phone ring for a full 5 minutes when I tried to call guest services and no one picked up. When I called them direct through the local number, someone did pick up. It's not a big deal, but it would have been nice if the front doors were automatic because it's hard to pull open two sets of do

Kitchen accommodations was a bonus, but if someone wanted daily room service they would be disappointed. Somewhat bad smell. This hotel worked out perfectly for me as I wanted a place that I could "live in" for the week. It had a fully equipped kitchen and living room area. I was not aware until my arrival that the rooms were only cleaned once a week, however that suited me just fine for this stay. The staff were very pleasant and I enjoyed the pool in the evenings. I would stay there again. The price line price was an added bonus.
