This is a BUDGET resort so don't expect 5 stars. The room was small but comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was good and very typcially Mexican. The facilities looked a bit worn but were kept very clean. I wasn't too impressed with the stage shows. The only place in the entire resort where you will find air conditioning is in your room. I really liked the location because there's only one other resort on that stretch of beach so there's definitely a feeling of seclusion and tranquility there.

We just returned from our vacation. The weather was hot & sunny--perfect beach weather. The rooms were clean & staff were courteous & helpful. This resort caters mainly to Mexican families. If you don't speak Spanish you're sunk. Some staff speak English, but not all. Some of the guests made us feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. The nightly entertainment I'm sure was good, but we could not understand most of it, provisions are not made to interpret. This was our first trip to the Pacific coast of Mexico, we will probably stick to the Caribbean in the future.

The food is decent, but it's all buffets. Not great. Fresh fruit and juices though. Staff are fantastic, clean rooms.A great resort to relax with a pina colada by the pool.Kayaks and snorkeling equipment included. Beach, beautiful island in view. Kayak or ferry boat to the island, good restaurants - killer lobster, awesome Red Snapper. On the island is a coral reef, great snorkeling. Dancing shows not great.Loved this resort. Next time, I?ll go out on the town to restaurants in Ixtapa most evenings? or maybe to the island for the fantastic seafood.
