General Description

Four Points Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile is located off Chicago's renowned Magnificent Mile, one mile from Sears Tower, and approximately 15 miles from O'Hare International Airport. This location is also one mile from the John Hancock Observatory and Navy Pier and three miles from Museum Campus, Soldier Field (Home of the Chicago Bears), Wrigley Field (Home of the Chicago Cubs), Art Institute of Chicago, and McCormick Place. This hotel provides a completely smoke-free environment and features amenities such as an indoor heated pool, whirlpool, fitness center, wireless internet access, and business center, all complimentary. For dining, the hotel offers two on-site restaurants.leaven is open daily for breakfast and lunch offering artisan breads, homemade soups, fresh salads, deli style sandwiches and pastries. One block off of the magnificent mile. Great location for shopping and only a short walk to most attractions. No food in the restaurant itself but half a block away the Cafe Luxe is great for lunch. Parking fee is excessive but that is par for the course in all of Chicago. We would stay again!

Very convenient to Michigan Ave. and attractions. Room was typical motel room. Hotel was clean, very friendly and helpful staff, convenient attached garage parking (for a price). Excellent location for downtown attractions, most within walking distance.

Excellent location. Sound proofing could be better. All in all a good experience, though a bit pricey. Staff was very friendly, business center came in use, breakfast was good and location was great. Only real downside was the noise from other rooms / the corridor could be easily heard in my room. If I were to stay downtown again, I may be brave and name a price to get a bit more for my buck but again, if you want a great location in the heart of the city and friendly staff to match, this is your place.

Large, clean, heated pool. Expensive parking, breakfast OUTRAGEOUS. The staff was friendly, helpful and polite. It was clean and safe -- what more could you ask for.

This Four Points Sheraton has everything the business traveler could want. Location, Location, Location; amazing value for the product. It was comfortable and decorated quite nicely without being ostentatious. The room was outfitted with all the amenities one would need and more so. Even though it had no major dining facilities, it offered meal and bar services and proximity to a plethora of Michigan Avenue restaurants. So, I say, bravo to the Sheraton Four Points.

Location was great. Staff gave us city map very helpful. The desk person was not helpful in recommending a reasonably-priced restaurant for breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean. Shower was great. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Nice pool/jacuzzi. Great location. The maps given us were very helpful.

Traveled alone with my 8-year-old daughter. Appreciated the in-room refrigerator and microwave so we could eat our dinner leftovers the next day. Concierge was very helpful showing us on a map how to walk to our various destinations, such as the Sears Tower and American Girl Place--all within walking distance. My daughter loved the pool area and it was nice for me to be able to get workouts in even while traveling with her. I enjoyed the LifeFitness treadmills with TVs! My daughter joined me in the workout room part of the time and part of the time went back to the room. I felt very safe--the security was good. I used the business center to print out boarding passes and check email. Very nice service. This is a good family oriented hotel. Nothing fancy, but a good value. It got a bit loud for a few moments after we went to bed, but the loudness--or the loud people--passed by quickly.

It was our 10 year Anniversary and our friends just got engaged. It was a wonderful experience to stay 1 block away from Michigan Ave. They offered us free tickets to Hollow at the moon and tons of other places. The hotel bed was awesome. WE just loved it...

Good location, good hotel, friendly staff. The hotel itself is a mid-range place, but the location and staff increased the quality of our stay. THe room was big - two double beds and a sofa bed - and had a fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Because Trader Joe's was around the corner, we saved money by eating breakfast in our room every day and then went back for showers, naps, and happy hour! I'd definintely recommend this hotel; and would stay there again.

This was by far one of the best experiences we have had in hotel stays. Everyone was friendly and always smiled and greeted every guest. Room was exceptionally clean.

Room was ok. We had a late check in and was greeted nicely. After returning to the hotel the following day, the maid had only made the beds, no trash emptyed, coffee pot was dirty, no new coffee /tea, no cups, etc. The air condition had been turned off and the room was hot. I could almost live with that, but parking was $ per day. I spent more for parking that I did food for 2 people. The continental breakfast consisted of rolls, muffins, and pastry, cost $. If you have cash to burn, stay at the Four Points.

Had a wonderful time and the room was everything that you advertised it to be. Parking was a preminum but other than that I would stan there again in a heart beat. Didn't really care for the hotel breakfast to expensive.

We had an excellent time in Chicago. Our first time actually. The weather was beautiful. The location was great. We were one block off of Michigan Avenue. Close to many, many restaurants. There was a different choice every night. The kids actually got to decide what they felt hungry for. The hotel was close to anything that Chicago offers. We were barely in our room---normally the kids are asking for snacks and drinks. We never heard the refrigerator door open or were any snacks opened on this trip. Everyday was another adventure. Hotel staff was great. Philip, the doorman, was filled with all sorts of information. The boys went to a Cubs game and the girls headed for Navy Pier and Michigan Ave. for shopping. We are looking forward to returning soon. We have told everyone that we had a wonderful time---Others are heading there soon. City Pass is the ONLY way to go if you are interested in the Museums, Willis Tower or Aquarium. This ingenious pass lets you go to the front of the line --everytime! And the Hop On Hop Off Trolley---------Yes, definitely the way to go for transport. Why would we think about looking for a place to park---the lines can be long and the parking scarce in many areas. The tours were very informative and gave you the background of this great city. Seriously--think about going to Chicago. It is a vacation that made us feel alot farther away from home than we actually were---We live about 3 hours away.

You're put in the middle of everything. Did not offer a free continental breakfast, and quality of paid breakfast was poor, with a poor selection.

one great benefit to the hotel is having a secure parking garage connected to the hotel. Excellent location and worth every dollar! The only disappointment was the breakfast at the hotel, however I would still stay at this hotel again and again.

I loved the warm, friendly reception I received at the front desk! My husband and I spent New Year's Eve at the Four Points by Sheraton and it was just fantastic! The location was perfect, walking distance or a short cab ride from everything. We will definitely being staying there on our next visit, this time with the kids, to enjoy the pool and all the other amenities available. Thanks, Four Points Sheraton, for a wonderful New Year's Eve stay!

Staff very friendly and helpful, also liked Dale Chihuly artwork. I would have preferred queen size beds. Good location, Helpful staff, Nice room. I would definitely stay here again.

I was not impressed with the breakfast selection, nor with the overly high price for said selection. I was however, very impressed with a young man named [...] who went far beyond on multiple occasions to make my trip work better. This is a young man who has made the right career choice.

Location, location, location. No real bar. They could make more money if they invested in building a nice bar. I would stay there again just because of its excellent location.

Should have offered continental breakfast. Very friendly staff, especially with my daughter who they gave an American Girl Doll bed to which put the most enormous smile on her face. We had a great time & the staff was friendly, fun & helpful.
