The oceanfront Four Points Miami Beach is approximately two miles north of the famous South Beach Art Deco District and 13 miles from Miami International Airport. This location is also one mile from Bayshore Golf Course, two miles from Ocean Drive, five miles from Bal Harbour shops, 14 miles from the Miami Seaquarium, and 50 miles from Everglades National Park and the Florida Keys. The hotel faces the boardwalk, beach, and ocean on one side, and Collins Avenue on the other. Hotel amenities include the sparkling outdoor pool and whirlpool spa(overlooking the ocean), fitness room, Bloo Lounge, serving libations and light fare, and Sungrass Cafe, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel also offers valet parking, same day dry cleaning, room service, a business center, full service concierge desk, tour arrangements, safety deposit, hi-speed internet, and 24-hour front desk service. The hotel is 100% non-smoking. All 216 guest rooms feature complimentary high-speed Internet access, coffeemakers, irons and ironing boards, clock radios, cable TV, safes, and voicemail. The suites also feature Jacuzzi tubs, microwaves, refrigerators, and wet bars. Age restrictions apply at this hotel. During the entire year, minimum check-in age is 21 years old unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Refundable security deposit may apply. Great Location for the price I paid. Valet drivers drive like maniacs. Complained to hotel GM. I wouldn't pay top dollar for this hotel. Lot of construction next door and that makes it pretty noisy in the mornings. Good location, close to South Beach and the ocean. Valet drivers were terrible and drove everyone's cars like maniacs. Very unprofessional.

The hotel desk supervisor was very pleasant along with the rest of the staff. We checked in with no problems. Our room was upgraded and a basket of fresh fruit was delivered to our room to welcome us. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. The ocean view was beautiful. The pool and surroundings were very well maintained. We had an enjoyable stay. Will do it again.

Location. Room quality, staff responsiveness, age of hotel. This hotel is really a very old 1950 hotel that has been given a quick face-lift by 4 points. The water pressure was horrid, the A/C barely worked, the vending facilities were broken (ice), and the staffs were completely ignorant about the Miami Beach area. Definitely not a 4 star hotel and not up to Sheraton's standards.

Right on the beach! Far from South Beach but just a short taxi ride Nice hotel, good price and what a beach! A short taxi ride from South Miami Beach. Not many restaurants or even stores around the hotel. At this price one can splurge on other things.

Nicely renovated using cheap materials; price Too many little kids by the pool and very noisy; very squeaky elevators Its a good place for the money, especially if you are on a family vacation. For younger crowd the place kind of sucks, and a bit far from South Beach. Otherwise I recommend Shore Club.

Chosen because of price and reputation of Four Points by Sheraton. Understood that we would have a non-refurbished room, but the room and the entire floor were rattier than expected. Staff was clueless about printing to the business center. Wine tasting a nice touch every afternoon 4-6, except on our last day when the F&B manager wasn't in, so they weren't serving because they didn't know which wine to serve! One elevator was down our entire stay, which meant long waits on the ground floor. This hotel is definitely a work in progress.

Our stay started off badly when we were assigned a moldy, smelly room whose air conditioner was broken for quite some time. We had to be assertive to get switched to another room. The lobby looked fine but the rooms showed their age and had not been refurbished for years. Many amenities were extra. This included parking for $18.00 a day and even the 75 cents for the USA Today newspaper, which is usually given freely by most hotels. The service was poor. There was no one to talk to. When I asked to speak to a manager they refused to let me meet her. We chose to leave after one night but were charged a $100 ransom penalty before they would let us check out. We cannot recommend this hotel. Be smart. Look elsewhere.

This was a first time trip to the Miami area and the Four Points Sheraton. Overall, my fiance and I were very pleased with our hotel stay. Our hotel room was clean and well maintained. The staff promptly redressed the bed and replenished towels, etc. in the morning. The pool area was great, plenty of lounge chairs and places to relax. Hotel is located directly on an outstanding beach. A lot of people had their own umbrella or screen tents. This is a great hotel for couples and families that want a quiet, relaxing place and whose main ambition is to lounge, enjoy sun and ocean. Hotel staff attentive, nice and informative; they will help you find places to shop, eat, etc. if you want.

I read the other reviews about this hotel and was worried about booking it...and once I got there, I should have listened to what other people said. Our room was tiny...the two double beds were about 2 feet away from each other, and there was no room for a rollaway. We asked if there was anything else available and we were upgraded to a bigger room with room for an uncomfortable rollaway. Housekeeping was unsatisfactory- soap and cups were not replenished. This hotel and surrounding hotels are around nothing- no fast food places, no souvenier shops, no stores. There is a Walgreens within walking distance..but it is several blocks away. You must get a rental car if you stay in this area because you will have to drive the 2 miles to South Beach to see anything. Even then there are hardly any fast food places or touristy shops. We walked to South Beach along the boardwalk, but it was about 30 blocks away. The staff at the hotel were not particulary friendly. The beach is pretty, not too crowded when we went. Beware of topless sunbathers if you bring children here.

Location was great. Valet, not very clean, inconsistency. The location was great, the outdoor facilities were ok. However, some things need major improvement. The valet took over 40 minutes each time to bring the car. Morning room service was inadequate. Something was always missing, towels or shampoo, complimentary water etc. Also upon arrival I noticed hair all over the floor in the bathroom. The room overlooked a roof with still green water.

The proximity to the beach and quality of the hotel. The staff was slightly unknowledgable about the area. The rooms are up to the Sheraton Worldwide standard, the only concern being the staff and their slighly unfriendly attitude. The facilities were wonderful and the beds were comfortable.
