Thought hotel was good for the price until the morning I left. I saw two huge roaches. One on the floor and the other on the upper wall. Would pay more for a better hotel from now on.

We had a very great experience at the hotel. We I booked the trip the only option we had was to get a two queen bed room but when we arrived the front desk upgraded us to a king room without me having to ask. the staff and manager was very nice and friendly. The room was exactly like the pictures on the internet. The offered breakfast with sausgae and eggs but the only complaint was the samll amount that we where allowed. This is a great hotel for the money and it was more than I expected. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

This hotel was clean, inexpensive, very close to Walt Disney World and had comfortable beds. Bring your own pillow though if pillow comfort is important to you. Flat panel TVs w/HBO are also a nice touch. The free breakfast was fair to mediocre, but free. It was advertised from 6am-9am but nothing was out at 6:30am. When we returned at 7:30am there weren't any bagels left nor would they restock them. The free in-room microwave, iron, coffee pot and fridge are a great bonus if trying to travel on a budget, although the provided coffee was horrible. Tip: take the coffee pot down to the free breakfast and fill it there (much better). They have a free shuttle to Disney World but we did not use it. They only have 1 departure time and multiple return times all more than 8 hrs later. This may be fine for singles, couples, or families w/older kids, but we had two kids under 2 1/2 yrs old. Flexibility to return to the hotel for naps/lunch & then back to Disney required us to take our own car. The pool was clean and refreshing after the heat of a summer day in FL but the chlorine was a bit strong and burned our eyes. They did employ some sales pressure tactics both at check in and check out so be prepared. Caution: don't order from any menus shoved under your door offering delivery. These are fly-by-night & unreputable. We found out that some are illegal businesses that just cook frozen pizzas in personal homes & convenience stores & deliver them. They list non-existent addresses & don't report to any health department inspections, etc. I don't believe this to be the fault of the hotels but be aware. Overall, this hotel is clean and an excellent value for the money. There is no question that we would stay there again.

this hotel was great. very very clean. the staff very nice. we loved it and it will be the only place we stay in orlando. rooms were very nice, just like they look on line. cant wait to go back .

This hotel was fair. The rooms/bathrooms were moderately clean. The ""concierge"" followed us out of the hotel one night trying to get us to listen to a presentation on a timeshare. This was not appreciated. Overall, however, good value for the money.

The hotel was nice and clean, however the elevator was really slow and made a lot of noise. It seemed like it was going to break down every time we got in it. The only other negative thing I can say is that the drink machines wouldnt take our money so we had to drive down the road to buy a bottle of water. Other than that the it was a nice stay.

Pleasantly suprised, hotel is very nice, rooms nicely appointed, looked exactly like the pictures. Beds were comfortable, room and bathroom were spotless. 5 minutes from Disney, and there are LOTS of nearby restaurants to eat at. Very convienent!!

After staying a few HORRIBLE nights at the Tampa Hyatt, We came to the palms hoping for something better and we got it. This hotel has beaten the Hyatt on nearly every level. The Palms is newly renovated or at least it seems, the cleaning staff do a heck of a job, my GF can spot a speck of dirt a mile away. They had a real breakfast that would give ihop a run for the money (free); Eggs, Sausages, Pancakes or Waffles, Cereal, different kinds of Donuts it was great before a day at the parks. The location was close to Universal and even closer to Disney. The garmin gps with the latest maps kept directing us the long way to get there but thats a minor point. The beds were comfy and all of the furniture was great, except the couch left something to be desired. There was a good size fridge and microwave, There was actually a 2 burner cook-top built-in to our dresser unit but it required 220V and the room are not wired for it. That would have been great when we didn't feel like going out or microwave snacks. The house keeping seemed to clean a bit later than other places. If we came back a little early we'd run into them. Overall it was a great stay we even added an additional night and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. The only problems were the keycards they use are EXTREMELY sensitive. We had to have them remagnetization a few times. We went between peak times and nearly had the hotel to ourselves until the last Saturday we left and it was packed. Great for couples or families, I noticed other rooms even have kiddie level peep holes in the doors!

The Palms Meridian was quite comfortable and clean. We particularly liked the small fridge and microwave amenities which allowed us to have small meals in doors after long, exhausting days at Disneyworld. There was lots of room for us and our grandchild to relax after those long days. We'll come again.
