The rooms were varied in size and ours was particularly hot for some reason, even after we'd opened the windows and turned the heating off. The staff were pleasent and helpful and the rooms were comfortable. No complaints.

Amazing hotel, to be honest when I was walking up towards it I though \"hmmm...\" but inside was really nice and the room was killer, I had a great new years there and will definatley be going back. Creamer.Fully blown.

Fantastic location. Near bus station, train station, places to eat and drink. Bus for Manchester City football ground stops outside! Could leave our bags in a secure room after checking out, while we strolled round town, so didn't have to carry them. Not fancy - basic room and woman at the desk on arrival wasn't very helpful or welcoming. Apart from that great value for money!

div.For me, coming from Germany, your shower was a great adventure. The taps were stiff, and it was like magic to see when hot and when cold water, for the shower or for the bath appeared. I managed to have a shower somehow and to turn the taps right of before the bathroom flooded ...Your card system for the door is a bit complicated. You have to know that you have to put in the card and not wait too long to take it out again so that it works.Though getting off from the bus at Piccadilly, I had great problems in finding you (about half an hour?). Noone, but at last Hotel Britannia knew exactly where you were, people were sending me backwards and forwards (probably I'm one of these simple minded foreigners ;-).I was told that I was to leave by eleven in the morning. Between about ten and eleven there was a permanent noise going on outside - I suppose it was the cleaning staff. - Letting everyone know that they wanted to clean and that the guests should hurry up. About five to eleven the staff knocked at my door (despite the "Do not disturb"-sign), wanting to get in. I was out at 2 or 3 minutes past eleven, which I think should be tolerated. However, the other staff was very kind, I still "enjoyed" my stay, and would come back, if needed.
