Gatwick Belmont hotel is one of the leading independent, family run Gatwick hotels in the LGW area. The hotel is located just five minutes from Gatwick Airport and, unlike many airport hotels; is not in the Gatwick flight path. Gatwick Hotel room rates and airport parking prices are highly competitive and generally cheaper than most Gatwick Hotels for the service we offer; ·24 -hour transfer from the hotel to Gatwick Airport and collection from Gatwick 9am to 9pm (outside these hours one can get an airport taxi for about 7.50 GBP). The room was smallish, the en suite facilities somewhat cramped but everything was scrupulously clean and the bed comfortable. Situated close to Gatwick Airport, this hotel is convenient and very serviceable for an overnight stay prior to or after a flight. It is also situated within easy walking distance of the centre of Horley where there are ample restaurants if you do not wish to "eat in". A regular train service leaves from Horley Station to the centre of London.

My room was a bit chilly but the days were also exceptionally cold outside. Great to sleep in, but not that cosy to work in.

The hotel was nice, room spotlessly clean and shower had hot water (eventually), but the reason I stayed was so that I wouldn't have to get up at 4am to get my flight and could start my trip not feeling tired. HOwever, the couple in the next room got up at 4am and because the wall was so thin, I heard their alarm call, every single word they said, and even the zip on their suitcase. So I may as well have just stayed at home and got up at 4am myself and saved myself £50.

The location was quite good cause it's what it says, near from the airport but also a quite place. But the rooms, at least the double room we chose, was quite small

Great stayI only stayed here for one night on a return trip from Spain but my night here was a good one. The staff were very friendly and helpfull and the meal I had that evening was fantastic. Breakfast in the morning was also good and the drive to the airport very helpful. The only thing that I could possible say negative would be the size of the bathroom in MY room was very small but for me was fine. All in all I had a great experience at the hotel.

The Belmont Geust House is adequate for its purpose as a stop over place if your flying in or out of Gatwick Airport. Service was friendly, however breakfast times are rather poor, 7.30 am - 8.45am. Don't be late for breakfast either as you'll be told rather curlty that breakfast is over & the guest house did not cook enough food for the breakfast, as there was no cooked items left when we went down to the dining room at 8.50am. Typical British Guest House.
