"Spotlessly clean, spacious, well appointed, has a Jacuzzi, full size refrigerator, range and dishwasher and stack washer/dryer. Way, way south of the strip...but north of resort, lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. The buildings are a bit like a drum...you'll hear things, but the noise didn't interfere with sleep...currently construction on-going, so construction noise during weekdays from dawn until....and there will be at least an attempt to get you to attend a time-share pitch. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. I almost want to say bad things or downplay the hotel so I can keep this great find my litle secret. Anyways, every good review that you may have read isn't exagarrated. The rooms were clean, beautiful and had everything you would need. I was surprise to find that a washer and dryer was also available. The decor isn't as good as some of the fancy hotels on the strip but it's up there and I'm not broke. The size of the rooms is more then enough for a couple. In fact I thought it was funny when I called the hotel for more information and they corrected me by saying that we don't have rooms we have apartments. As for the surroundings I really can't comment as my room was located away from the pool and my stay here was purely business. The Grand View consists of several apartment complex and my buidling didn't have a great view. If the view is important then you may want to request a room closer to the pool. However, my room was literally walking distance from the South Pointe building which contains bowling and other fun stuff. If you wish to buy your own grocery to cook then no problem as stores are nearby. In fact there is a Super Walmart on Silverado Street which was less then 10minutes of driving. So anything bad about this hotel? Not really but if I were to be picky... 1) I brought quite a bit of stuff with me and had difficulty bringing everything up to my room. If they had a service to help bring your bags up they sure didn't offer it to me at the front desk. 2) From my understanding all the rooms are the same so there isn't anything smaller or larger like a penthouse or suite... but I could be wrong. If that's the case and the layout are the same then consider that the bath tub is in plain sight of the bed. That's probably great for couples but if you're sharing the room with a bunch of your buddies then utilizing that tub may be a problem. Well, that's everything that I can think of. Hope this review help

It was like staying in an apartment, instead of a hotel. I wish the location was about ten minutes farther north.

Everything was great except one of the elevators went out and it took them three days to fix it. Other than that it was a great experience, we took our two small children and it was great for them. Overall I was very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

This was my first time in Vegas in the this hotel is what made my vacation memorable. The rooms are like small apartments and are so cozy that you don't mind spending time in your room. There are 2 TVs and a DVD plus jacuzzi tub and full kitchen. Located perfectly just five miles from strip so no crowds or noise but still conveinient. South Point is next door for all entertainment/casino/dining needs. Will make this my permanent Las Vegas destination!!!

This Hotel Suite is perfect for a couple or Family Vacation. It comes with nice living room, full kitchen, big bathroom space & a really nice view from my bedroom. Everything is provided in the kitchen just in case you want to cook or just dine in. Staffs are friendly, clean room, although the pillow needs replacement. Dring to strips is not bad. Restaurant, walmart, target around the block. We just parked at paris hotel to walk around strips. Great price for a nice suite hotel. I Will definitely come back to stay here again.

We stayed at the Grandview for a Friday and Saturday night. The rooms were very nice, the bathroom was huge, and the Jetted tub in the room was a great ++. The only thing I didnt really like was the commute to the strip. Its about 7 miles away, but goes by pretty quick because its right off the interstate. I thought it was going to be a little closer than it was, but I guess that is my fault. Also I was asked to attend a meeting for the timeshare, I politely rejected, and they did not push it at all. They do offer show tickets, or a certain amount of money comped if you attend. I asked the desk lady what was the best way to the strip and I also asked her a few other questions about directions and ammenities. She was very polite, and helped me tremendously. If this place was closer to the strip, I would stay here again in a heartbeat, but I would prefer the convenience of being closer.

Although the place looks marvelous and exactly as it is in pics, the staff need more training as far as friendliness. As soon as we told them we don't want to attend their sales meetings, their smile disappeared and they almost shove the paper works to us while the other customers who did agree to attend were offered more info and were treated a lot better than us. The two room apt was great for us and another family who came with us. It was great to have doors separating the bedroom from the rest especially when we cooked our breakfast, our clothes didn't smell the food we ate. The place was clean. My other complaint was there was no curtain to block the sunlight in the bedroom (wood blind were not as good as curtain) while they put one in the living room. The parking was limited and although it said 4:00 p.m. check-out on this website, the hotel said 10:00 a.m. and can't be changed. The wall were paper thin like it said in one review. We were awaken by the sound of the jacuzzi tub at 6:00 a.m. I would definitely stay here if another family will join us, but if not, I would stay somewhere else.

Perfect place for vacation. New rooms with a good design. Friends took us there for vacation in their timeshare. We loved it so much, that we bought a timeshare there too. The facility is great, nice and quiet. The personnel is very friendly when you speak to them in person. I had a small problem with the receptionist over the phone, i asked a simple question about a dry cleaners around. At first she was busy to help me but then she gave me a phone number for a dry cleaners a couple of miles away. I just looked around on there was one a couple of blocks north on the strip. Other than that everything was perfect.

Not a "HOTEL" as advertised it is a "TIMESHARE" which means there are no hotel amenities as expected. If you want your room cleaned you need to pay an extra $50.00. This establishment is falsly advertising this location with Travelocity as a Hotel. The staff were very uninterested in resolving any complaints. There is inadequite parking for the facility. If you are looking for a "HOTEL" don't stay here!

Next to a casino that had food 24 hours. They never serviced the room during the 3 days I was there. For business travelers this is a hotel that is 6 miles south of the airport away from the LV strip. There is no reasonable transportation to and from the hotel and the strip. Unless business travelers are renting a car, they should never stay at this hotel. The room was never serviced in the 3 nights I stayed there.

There was 2 couples & 1 child on this trip. we reserved a 2 bedroom suite at the Grand view Resort. we expected it to be 1 room with 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom. Instead when we opened the door to our room,it was like another entrance & there were 2 separate doors. We opened those doors & there were 2 totally separate suites! Each had a full kitchen, dining area w/table & chairs, living room(1 couch(which folded out to a bed)& 2 chairs,& a large tv.In the bedroom was a king size bed, another large tv & a jacuzzi tub. In the bathroom, there was a glass shower & double sinks. We were only staying 2 nites, but after seeing this place,we all wished we could stay a full week. It was about 15 minutes from the strip. But,unless you really wanted to be right there at the strip, this place was definitely worth it. We've already decided if we ever go back to Las Vegas, that is definitely where we would like to stay.

I got a great deal at Grandview for my 3 day stay in LV. The property was located quite far from the strip but the commute wasn't horrid. The place itself is absolutely incredible. Rooms were well furnished, spotless, and all around enjoyable. The bed was comfortable and there was also a sofa sleeper for additional guests. Jacuzzi and kitchen were available. I did (more like endured) a timeshare presentation and got $100 bucks making my stay almost free, although this may not be everyone's cup of tea. You are taken on a tour of the facilities and then have to face down about 5 salesmen trying to pressure you into taking a timeshare. But hey, can't argue with a Benjamen. Anyways, highly recommend this place but if it's imperative that you be on the strip, then I suggest you look elsewhere.

The Grandview at Las Vegas is a beautiful establishment. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They were attentive to our needs. It was nice to have no phone charges for local and toll free calls, free parking, free internet access along with all the other amenities. The rooms were spacious and the view from our living and bedrooms was beautiful. Good location next to a very nice casino that had a great italian restaurant not to be missed.

"We stayed at the Grandview because of a family wedding in Las Vegas. We loved the resort, the accomodations, and all the amenities. Check in and check out were both painless. Great casino and restaurants right across the street. You need a car to stay here if you want to go to the strip, as it is a good 5-6 miles away. Yuo can take a trolley, but the pickup times are extremely unreliable. We would stay here again."

This was my 5th stay at the Grandview this year, but my first business trip. I had always stayed in the Iris (the new building) and this time I stayed in the Sage (just in front of the fitness center and pool area). I love staying at the Grandview. I like having condo accommodations and not being in the middle of the noise and energy that the strip hotels provide. I must say however; I was slightly disappointed in the difference between the Sage and the Iris buildings. I will always request to stay in the Iris?it?s cleaner, brand new and has a ?fresher? feel. I love having the washer/dryer in the unit?it?s not the size you have at home, but it?s large enough to wash a days worth of clothes; which is all I need. The Grandview does not have any restaurants, but right next door (you can walk) is the South Pointe Casino and Spa. It has several restaurants, a 24-hr, 64 lane bowling center and a 16 theater movie area. The South Pointe also has a shuttle that goes to the strip every ? hr. The Grandview may not be for those of you who want to be in the middle of the ?strip?s action?, but it is PERFECT for me.

The Grandview at Las Vegas was a very nice and comfortable place. I liked the condo type of room in that there was 800 sq ft of space. I also liked the jacuzzi tub between the bathroom and the bedroom. It was far away from the strip area but real close to the South Coast Casino (accross the street), so gaming was right there. If you want to stay away from the action and have a car, this would be the place to be. Cooking was a slight problem in that when I cooked a steak, there was no real ventalation and the condo was pretty smokey for a while. They also do not have maid service until after the fourth night. If you want daily service (clean sheets, towels, etc..) you have to call down and for a fee of $15 per day, they will clean the room. I ran out of towels on the fourth day and had to plead my case with the front desk person to get someone up for more towels. Finally, she sent someone up. Other than that, it's a nice place.

Beautiful! Jacuzzi tub! Tastefully decorated. Comfortable bed. Paper-thin walls, noisy air conditioner, bright in bedroom during day. This place was absolutely amazing! The building we stayed in (iris) had just opened the day that we checked in. Easy check-in, friendly hotel staff; my husband and I loved the Jacuzzi tub. The fully stocked kitchen came in very handy and I know that families with child (ran) would love this set up. Separate living room from bedroom with a pull-out couch, two TVs, dining room table, washer and dryer, tile floors except in bedroom. I could go on and on! There were only a couple things that we didn't care too much for: paper-thin walls and when the air conditioner fan blew it were quite noisy. But, would these keep us from coming back. No way! This place is awesome!

It was new, fresh, and clean, beautiful, away from the strip, yet close enough to jump on I-15 and be downtown in 10 minutes. This resort was wonderful. I would love to stay there again! It was brand new, clean, spacious and beautiful!

New rooms in new tower I was the first tenant in this room. Long walk to just about anything nearby. Very nice overall. The room had everything anyone would want. Nice people. This is basically a resort; if you are staying in Vegas for a hotel casino, the Grandview is not it, but it is next door to the south point which is a great casino. The newer west towers are a long walk; ask for a more easterly tower for quick access to the blvd and nearby casinos. Great place for meetings and longer term stays. I plan to stay there again next time!
