Our whole stay at The Hampton Inn was great! The hotel was located near the airport, convenient after a long day of traveling. It was also centrally located for trips to most of the popular sites on the island. The lobby and grounds were beautiful, very tropical. The front desk staff was very helpful in suggesting places to see while in Puerto Rico and supplied directions. The beds in the rooms were extremely comfortable and cozy, and the room and bathroom were very clean, spacious and well maintained. The grounds were lovely with a pool with a swim up bar, and a whirlpool. They also had a grilled food menu at the bar. The other amenity that I liked was the complimentary breakfast they offered each day...and it included hot food each day. Coffee and tea were always available in the lobby. Any needs that we may have had were attended to immediately by the staff. Overall, we had a great stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico and it was an extremely good value for the money!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn & Suites. I have no complaints. The amenities are great. Breakfast is served 6-9am & is not your average continental breakfast; much to choose from. They have a business center which was very useful during my stay as I needed to check my email, & they have an up to date fitness center. The staff was always attentive & friendly. The pool is nice & has a swim up bar, & the food was ok. The rooms were really nice & clean. Comfortable beds, spacious restroom w/ large vanity mirror, cable, iron & ironing board, & safety boxes. Overall my experience at this hotel was a pleasant one.

After our red-eye flight arrived in San Juan at 10:30am, I was thrilled and thankful that the hotel let us check in early to take a much-needed nap. This hotel is only a few blocks (easy walk) away from the beach and provided a good base for our 5 day trip. Comfy beds and clean overall. Don't bother with a car when going into Old San Juan -- the traffic is really bad, and I'm used to LA traffic! I think there was a bus stop just across the street from the hotel, but we took a cab (~$22 each way, about 10 min). The hotel provides a convenient breakfast with some hot items (usually eggs). There's not a lot of shopping in the immediate Isla Verde area. Consider staying somewhere in Condado if that's what you're looking for.

I STAYED IN THIS HOTEL IT WAS WONDERFULL IT WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN AND STAFF THAT WORKS THERE WERE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL THERE BREASTFAST WAS VERY GOOD AND THEY HAD VARIETIES EVERYDAY.I WILL STAY THERE AGAIN I REALLY RECOMMED THIS HOTEL.

My wife and I spent one night there and were very pleased with everything. We had one of the suites and it was immaculate. There were two TVs in the room, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom. The only minor thing was that it seemed that the room was just painted and there was a strong paint smell when we entered the room.

Just a brief overnight layover and we got a good price. Positives...very nice front desk, excellent breakfast (always a factor), and comfortable and clean room. Except for the bathroom. The door was off balance and if we tried to leave it open a bit it swung open all the way causing an obstruction to exiting the room. Could be a safety issue. There was no place to set the hand towel or our toiletries. I think this was a handicap accessible bathroom, big sink, lots of rails including on the toilet. And I hated seeing the two long strands of hair on the floor near the shower. But the worst thing was the odor of the bathroom. If you looked overhead from the toilet you could see exposed and caulked pipes. Must have contributed to the foul odor. But...would stay here again.

The Hampton Inn and Suites was clean and comfortable, the hotel was fairly quiet considering it was near the airport. The only draw back was the room had no refrigerator, although the lobby provided a microwave. The complementary breakfast was great, very simple and really good. It was near a lot of restaurants, and the bus is across the street so you can go to Old San Juan. The beach was a five minute walk away, and it was beautiful. would recommend for any one who wants a leisurely vacation.
