The Bellhop. The service, The pool, The food. We did not receive the rooms that I had booked. The rooms were 5 doors apart. The service was slow and poor. The pool Temperature was too hot and crowded. Not enough lounge chairs. I was actually very disappointed. I got better rooms and service at the smaller hotels we stayed in over the weekend.

I liked the fact that it was right in the middle of the strip. We didn’t need a luxurious hotel. I wish there had been more shopping and restaurants available. It has good location and 24 hour room service was very convenient. The staff was helpful and fun.

Overall I was satisfied with Harrah's. My only complaint is there was an odor in our bathroom that remained during our 2 day stay. When reported to the front desk we were offered another room, however it was a smoking room. It took 3 calls before maintenance arrived, he came with a can of air freshener that did not cover the odor. At check out I spoke to the manager, he gave us a $30.00 in house voucher that had to be used before we left the hotel. On a positive note we really liked the hotel, it was a great location and loved Toby Keith's Bar and Grill and the dueling piano bar, it was a great time!!

Harrah's is well located, next to the Venetian and across from the TI and Mirage, easy access to all the hotels on that end of the strip. The room was clean, internet service was quick and easy, food at Toby Keith's was ok - first time I've ever seen a fried baloney sandwich on a menu. One problem was the morning coffee shop. There were six people in line in front of us, a dozen empty tables but not enough staff, so after 15 minutes of waiting and people going in front of us in the VIP line, we left the line and went to the Venetian, where the line was longer and we were seated within 3-5 minutes. Loved the outdoor concert setting in the courtyard at night. Music was listenable and wait staff friendly.

Overall it was a fun filled vacation. Lots of things to do and very easy easy to get around in vegas. People are friendly and most helpful with direction and where to eat. There are so many choices in restaurants and attractions. April's weather is mostly in the 70's so it makes very comfortable.

I've been to Vegas about 7 times in the past 5 years or so and usually spend my time around the Mirage/Harrah's area. I think this is a terrific location on the strip but I usually don't want to spend $120+ to stay at Caesar's, Venetian, Mirage etc. Harrah's was a good compromise since the rooms were reasonably priced. We arrived at 9:45pm on Wednesday night. There was a long line of people waiting to check in (which I thought odd at this day and time) and there were only 3 people at the front desk checking people in. Each transaction seemed to take 5+ minutes. So finally after about 15-20 minutes we were checked in. It seemed like the long lines were there all throughout the week/weekend. Not sure why this is such an ordeal. Fortunately they offer an automated check out process through the menu guide on the TV which was painless. When I walked by the checkout desk on Sunday morning there must have been 50 people in line, ouch. The room itself was very nice. Great bed, good amount of room, nice bathrooms, flat screen TV in the room and a small flat screen in the bath. This was a normal deluxe room. We were on the 4th floor and we could hear noise constantly. People on the floor above us, below us, and a lot of noise in the hall. It almost seemed like there wasn't a door on the room. This seemed odd because the room itself is nice, it just seemed like a really noisy hotel. Everything else is pretty standard at the casino. Decent staff and casino area, nothing really noteworthy either way. I docked it .5 star for pain of checking in and another .5 for the noise factor. All things considered you could do a lot worse. The location is prime and the price is reasonable.

Stayed here from DEc 23-27. Location was great, can walk to south strip or north, casino was not too big and won't get lost in the property. Room was relatively clean (one turn off was some smear of blood behind the toilet on the wall), but rest of room was clean and beds comfortable. Wall is on the thin side so you can hear all the stuff in the hallways.

Room service. Smoky, grimy restaurants. A very over priced and over-rated property. They are really resting on their laurels. The guest really feels at all times that the hotel is out to get you financially. They don't give you anything, not even a newspaper or a pen.

Fire alarm went off two of the three mornings I was there. Never found out why. If you are a non-smoker, do not settle for a smoking room (said that was all they had available even though I made reservations two months in advance for a non-smoking room). The room smell actually made me ill. I opened up the windows and turned on the fan -- and switched rooms the next two nights. Pool is not a Vegas style pool but one you would find in an apartment complex.

Harrah's was a great place to stay for a fun week-end in Vegas. If you are traveling on a budget, this was a great buy for the money. The central location on the Strip put you within easy walking distance to many attractions. The room was perfectly clean which was my biggest concern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were quite comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised by the accomodations. It's not a high end resort, but a well maintained hotel. I would definitely recommend staying at Harrah's. It makes going to Vegas affordable.

Check in was smooth - we requested connecting rooms, upper floor, a room with a window for air flow and safe. Everything we asked for we were granted plus an excellent view. Drink service was a little poor on the casino floor unless you got a barmaid started with tipping, but then you better not move from your area. We did not win, but who goes to Vegas to win. We had some light bulbs out in the bathroom and maintenance was very quick about fixing the problem, one of the safes was left locked from the previous tenants and security took care of that problem immediately. Over all this was a fun place to stay with the Carnival court and the dueling piano bar located right there.

The Harrahs was a very accomadating hotel. We loved the location to the strip. Loved the food at Flavor's Buffet. Enjoyed our overall experience with Harrahs. Our daughter was married the next evening at Caesar's Palace and the location was only a brief 10 minute stroll to wedding. Our guest enjoyed the Toby Keith - I Love This Bar! Some went there nightly to the bar to watch the band. Overall it fit our needs and I think that others would enjoy this hotel too!

I felt that Harrah's was a good hotel overall. There were some things in need of improvement. Location was great. I felt that Staff inside the hotel were not very helpful and was not impressed with the choice of restaraunts within tht hotel. On our 2nd day with the hotel our electric on our floor went out and was out for several hours, I felt that this was uncalled for. But like I said overall it is a decent hotel for the money.

The hotel was a real nice place. Everything went smooth, until I needed to use the hotel computer. They wanted to charge me money for every 15 minutes I was on it. I then asked can I get a copy of my airline boarding pass, they wanted * ust to print it. I would stay there again, however, I would have to have a laptop and printer when I did.

This was my third trip to Las Vegas and the first time I stayed at Harrah's. The major problem I had was the air conditioning, which had a motion sensor and the only way the air came on was if someone was moving around the room. This became a problem at night when I was sleeping because the air conditioning never came on! Next time I will stay somewhere else and recommend others do as well.

My boyfriend and I went on a spur of the moment trip. It was my first and his third trip to Vegas. I was on a budget and Harrah's fit the bill. It wasn't fancy because we got the classic room with no view but it was great! We didn't care because we didn't spend much time in the hotel. My boyfriend said out of the three hotels he stayed at tropicana, flamigo, and I forget the other Harrah's was the best. We didn't hear our neighbors unless they were standing outside our door....that only happened once. The bed was nice and the hotel is in the middle of everything!! The crowd was an older crowd but didn't matter to us because we went to other hotels for night clubs. I would love to stay at Harrah's again. I did notice that check out was long on a sunday, fortuantley we stayed until monday and didn't have to deal with it. You can check out on your TV or the check out box as well to avoid lines. The resevation desk was soooo helpful! X was the women's name! I booked through American Express and they didn't send my information over for 2 days and we were leaving in 3! She personally called me and american express. VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!! I definatly recommend this hotel.

Fairly average compared to newer hotels on the strip but great value considering the price. Long wait at restaurants and check in. Maybe staff has been cut due to economy. Ask for a room on the opposite side of Carnival Court (outdoor entertainment area) or you will hear the band until 2 am.

We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, since we were on The Strip taking in the sights every day. While we were there it was comfortable enough, but I had some issues checking in, and that left a bad taste in my mouth for Harrah's. Our room keys were misprogrammed and didn't work in our door at the very back end of the 21st floor. I went back down to get it fixed and there was no one at the information desk. I got someone's attention and asked for help, but she said that I would have to go BACK through the line I had just come through to check in. Needless to say I was not happy about this, and as a result will likely not give Harrah's my business again.

The Harrah's in Las Vegas was a great place to stay at. Everyone that I encountered from the staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and very clean. I didn't want to leave it at times! And the stores and the places to eat inside the hotel were very attractive and always filled with people. They had everything that I needed for my stay that I forgot to bring or just needed more of. I have been telling everyone what a great experience I had while I stayed at Harrah's.

Location is excellent; no other hotel has so many high pressure timeshare sellers, but blame Wyndham for that, but just say no or ignore them. Flavors buffet was really pretty bad. The room was nice, run of the mill, nothing special. Would we stay again? Probably not because there are so many other choices. We also stayed a couple of nights at the Hilton on Paradise, and that was beautiful with a great buffet and food compared to Harrah's. You could do worse--we heard others really complaining about the Luxor and its tower rooms and some of the other hotels look like total dumps. However, for what we paid for three nights and the fourth free, we were happy.
