The car park is not easy to find and the intercom to reception requires the driver to get out of the car. Service at reception and in the bar was excellent. The room was fairly small as doubles go and the noise from the bar terrace was annoying, but stopped well before the norm for Nottingham city centre on a Saturday night. Bed very uncomfortable (the floor was better!) and the shower was uncontrollable, but the experience of staying at Hart's was still good and a midday checkout is a bonus.

Very expensive if paying full price but well worth the money at the discounted price. The restaurant is pricey but well worth the money for a special occasion. The staff went out of their way to help.

Nottingham is not overrun with quality hotels and this is probably the best. The rate through laterooms was exceptional and it was a great room for the money.Paul

Hotel of the Year - I don't think so!I chose Harts because it was billed as Hotel of the Year and Runner Up Hotel of the Year. It must be FAB I thought. How disappointed when I entered Room 24 to be greeted with tired, shabby looking furniture with basic bed linen and only 2 hangers each! To top it off the toilet seat fell off. It was supposed to be a romantic evening out for my hubby's birthday so spending that little bit extra on a great hotel didn't matter to me. I could have saved a few quid and got a nicer room at the Holiday Inn.

Very pleasent hotel in a quiet location. A little formal and quiet at times. No wireless internet connection so no checking emails in bed.

A very friendly and Customer Service orientated Hotel, in a very quiet area but only a few minutes walk from down town Nottingham. Staff were super and friendly and had a very caring attitude. We would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Single night reviewBooking easily made on LateRooms and on arrival we were told we had been upgraded which was a bonus. We were made very welcome, the room was spotless and after walking around the centre of town looking where to eat in the evening we decided to treat ourselves to a meal in Hart's restaurant which, although expensive, was worth every penny. All round an excellent place to stay which we can recommend wholeheartedly.

I am originally from Nottingham and wanted to put a little gloss on our visit (my boyfriend's first time), and after looking into reviews on The Lace Market hotel and Hart's...we went for Hart's. I felt the location would be better. It was the right choice. Just 5 minutes walk from the City square. Our room looked over the garden and the lovely Park area.The rooms were smaller than I imagined- it got really hot-even with the radiator off- but perfect for hibernating. Very quiet.Hart's has a fantastic restaurant, the taxi driver on the way even mentioned it was the best in the city. It was great food, although the atmosphere -although full- was a little quiet. (We also went to World Service on our 2nd night. The food and atmosphere here was perfect! Book early and get a seat in the bar area.)I'd definitely stay at Hart's again. Perfect weekend break.
