The bathroom was ridiculously small with the shower barely able to fit someone bigger than a underweight adolescent.

the hotel was clean and adequate but was quite old-fashioned and in need of renovation. The staff were friendly. Room and bathroom were basic and not very inviting.

Don't be too hard....I stayed at HHH as I was in town for a concert and needed to be in a cheap West London hotel for an early start the next day. Being a regular at 3/4* hotels, I was expecting the worst. But you get what you paid for - £65 to be exact for a room that was small, but OK, reasonably decorated, [not to my taste] with TV and ensuite shower room, in the middle of Wimbledon fortnight. The previous night I was in a 4* Radisson that was not that much bigger and cost more than 3x that amount. On reflection, the HHH is a bit of a bargain.

The worst thing about my overnight stay was the complete lack of hot water either in the wash basin or the shower. Not being a big fan of cold showers, especially in the winter, I was forced to heat water in the kettle so that I had some hot water for washing with. The room was adequate, given the price, but the hotel is in need of some refurbishment. The carpets are a little shabby, the walls could do with a lick of fresh paint etc. The loo seat in my room had some rather unpleasant brown stains on it so would have benefited from being thrown away and replaced with a new one.The breakfast room was rather cold in the morning so I was glad that I had chosen to wear my fleece. The rest of the hotel was on the warm side. The coffee served at breakfast was tepid. If it had been at a warmer temperature I'm sure it would have been nice. Breakfast items are laid out buffet style and it was slightly worrying seeing a fly buzzing round the food especially given that it was winter! The large milk jug on the buffet table needs binning. The lip was badly chipped and there was a crack running down the inside - not very hygenic. It wouldn't cost much to replace so the fact that it was being used despite its poor appearance spoke volumes about the quality standards of the hotel in general. At breakfast I was given toast but wasn't asked if I would like brown or white. I was given white which I really don't like so I didn't eat it. I had a croissant instead which was served cold.On the plus side, the hotel was in a good location for people going to Earl's Court.

Good value for moneyLovely clean room, with a great view and good continental breakfast included. Add that to the great central London location, and you couldn't get a better deal for your money.

The room was booked at the last minute so was probably not the best in the hotel - the room itself was large and comfortable with a decent quality bed, a large desk for working and good quality wifi access. Unfortunately however the shower controls had no effect on the water temperature at all such that the shower was always scalding hot. The first morning it was bearable but the second it was so hot it was impossible to stand in the shower, verging on dangerous. A colleague who stayed in the hotel at the same time had no such problems so the problem must have been isolated to the shower in the one particular room. Otherwise the hotel was more than adequate and proximity to the tube make it ideal for getting about London, but it failed to provide the essentials of a decent bed and a decent shower.

Hotel was great if visiting earls court exhibition. Hotel was nice easy to find, tho lift does not go to the very top floor so had to carry my bags up a flight of stairs, apart from that food was nice and room was clean.

Happy CustomerVery pleasant staff, nice clean single room,if a bit on the small side. Could be a bit noisy as very near underground lines, but I was not disturbed at all as I was tired & hot. The fan in the room was very much appreciated. Facilities generally very good for the price in Central London.
