i usually stay at a different hotel and thought it would be nice for a change of pace to try the hilton. big mistake! the bathtub constantly dripped, the carpets were stained and dirty and had not been vaccumed for what looked like a year. the only amenity that i can say was that i could catch the monorail from inside the hotel but even then it was difficult to get from point a to point b. the staff were nice and cordial though. to sum it up everybody always says that the room is not so important in vegas because you don't spend much time there, well unfortunately that was true but only because of choice.

When asked to pay for an upgraded room, it was explained that the furnishings were new. they were not, except for a Plasma TV(remote did not work) all the furnishings were old and outdated. I will in the future stay at the Holiday Inn Express, they provide equal value for the rates that are charged.

Drew, at the check in desk, gave us a free room upgrade..for no reason at all. Comfy beds. Quiet, clean room. A long walk from parking lot to room, but don't we all need a little more exercise?

I do not recommend staying at this hotel. I was very disappointed. The hotel room was okay however, the walls are very thin as me and my cousin discovered later that night. It sounded like the people next to us were in our room. The pool was very crowded as they allow outside people to use the pool. The pool water was murky so we decided not to go in. We stayed at the end of the North tower and had to deal with a scary elevator that opens and closes 3 times before it will move to the next floor. My cousin and I and another guest were waiting for the elevator at the bottom floor and before we could get into the elevator the doors closed and began its climb up. We had to go to the center of the hotel, far from our room to catch the main elevator. The straw that broke the camels back was when a ""maid"" opened our room at 8:00 am while my cousin and I were sleeping. We called down to customer services and they said it was probably a maid doing an inventory check. I have never stayed a hotel where maids do an inventory check at 8:00 in the morning. Definitely not pleased with Hilton, I will never stay at the Hilton Las Vegas again!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Las Vegas Hilton. We paid a little extra to get a premium room and it was well worth it. It was a lovely room with an extremely comfortable king size bed, a nice big flat screen TV, and a little fridge which came in very handy. The room was very quiet, and we slept like logs every night. We were on the 26th floor and had a fabulous view of the Strip and the city. The pool area and surroundngs were very nice and we spent some quality time there. All the people that we came across were very nice. We are non smokers, non drinkers, and non partyers, and we felt very comfortable with the crowd staying at the hotel. We had a rental car during our stay, so we had no issues with being one block off the strip. The monorail which stops at the front of the hotel connects easily with the Strip. We would highly recommend this hotel to our friends.

The rooms were really Nice and very clean.! The Bed was a pillow top and just Excellent.Loved the giant flat screen and marble bath. We had deluxe room with a view on the 20th floor over looking the strip so we could see all the action and took some awesome pics of the Volcano at night. Checked in at 3pm and had a 5 min wait- Thrilled. Staff was very courteous and room service was polite & quick in the mornings- We have to have our Morning Cup of Joe! The pool was beautiful- a bit crowded, but we found a few lounge chairs and enjoyed a nice swim. There is even shaded areas and Cool Cabana areas to rent if ya wanna splurge. The Dolphin and white tiger exhibit is a must if you are staying here. The highlight of this trip was seeing the Beatles ""LOVE"" show. It is the BEST show in Vegas- Our tickets were included with the trip when we booked with online- added bonus to say the least. The casino was spread out nicely and not cramped. Excellent restaurants- ranging from $-$$$. Valet was speedy and we tipped a few bucks each time we used our rent a car. I will stay here again next time we visit. The location is Prime and you can easily walk to most of the other casinos and hotels on the strip. This hotel is Great Value and all the rooms are newly renovated.

It was small and I was able to navigate it pretty well. No TV guide to assist with watching TV programs. The monorail assisted getting to the strip in a timely manner. It would have been nice to have a shuttle bus directly from the airport to the hotel and around to attractions, ie outlet mall to save in travel time. No maps in the rooms of the hotel. Always had to go to the lobby to find the different locations of rooms.

I live in Vegas, and have stayed at most of the major hotels in town. This is one of the worst "hotels" I have stayed in. The staff was not friendly, I waited in valet for 15 minutes. Several valet employees past me to go park empty cars, instead of helping a waiting guest, obviously avoiding eye contact the whole time. One of the main reasons for picking this place was the pool where it took me 10 minutes to get a beer at the bar. The pool is advertised at heated, and was not! They don't serve food at the pool, you have to walk outside of the pool to the snack bar. My room was not very tidy and there was left over trash from what I can only assume was the previous guest. And lets just say you do not want to know what kind of trash it was. The beds were some of the least comfortable I have ever slept in! I could hear everything going on in the halls, and the "cable" was pitiful! We were having such a terrible time we checked out a day early. I have a cleaner house, better cable, and a nicer bed at home. Some "getaway"!!! The only plus point was that the day beds at the pool were very reasonable, and came with 10 soft drinks.

We were very impressed with our room, Flat screen tv, Big tub, sitting area, King size bed. All that was wonderful. But their were few downfalls. For a classic room there is no free WiFi. It's 13.99 a day, that adds up very fast. No coffee pot in room, so if you want coffee in your room in the morning your looking at a $20 pot. And the cost of room service food is outragious. So unfortantly we didn't utilize this service, even though we wanted to. Other than that it was a wonderful place to stay. Would possibly stay there again.

Nice room after the upgrade to recent renovated room. I added one day to my stay and we were locked out of our room. Reasonable accommodations. We were upgraded to a recent expanded room that included a couch and coffee table which was nice. Location is monorail Convienient but two long blocks from the strip where the action is. The pool area in nice and there is a small sandwich shop that serves a great burger very reasonable.

What I liked best about the Hilton is the location. It was convientently located on the monorail system, yet less crowded then the larger mega casino hotels. The fine restraunts were fabulous. However, choices in less expensive breakfast and lunch were absent. Room was satisfactory with enough space and comfortable bed. The bathroom was satisfactory, but less than I really like. The vanity was separate from toilet and shower. I prefer a larger vanity area. It worked fine for a couple but two women would have a difficult time sharing the area. Staff were very friendly and helpful!

The hotel itself was nice and clean. We were disappointed the Mexican restaurant was closed for 3 mos with only the bar open for appetizers and drinks. No sign was posted to inform of this. Cafe closed between lunch & dinner time therefore we were forced to eat at poolside cafe which served average food & tuna wrap did not taste fresh. Pool area was nice and clean. Sports book did not have hot dog cart and Sports Book Deli did not have any specials for Kentucky Derby day. Stayed in Club rooms and had to call to get our water and robes & no slippers were delivered. Was overall disappointed.

Its fine. Is getting old and is kind of away from strip. I did the check in, but the room was not ready at 3pm as they promised. They make me loose 2 1/5 hrs waiting for it. They did not explained to me that the check in was done. So I have to leave and come back later at night.

It is a great place, however, it is a bit afar from the strip. I had a rented car so did not care about the distance. But if you are going to go to and fro from the strip then you are at a disadvantage. The shower drain in one of the rooms I had on the first night was not working. Luckily I had 2 rooms (went with my parents) so we were ok. But I do not think it is too much to expect from a Hilton. The parking garage can be more than a stone's throw away depending on which tower you are on. They provide free valet parking but then I hate the waiting times in between. Overall it was a good experience, please note that the above points were the only BAD experiences I had. Its more than a decent joint and its worth staying at

My stay at the Las Vegas Hilton was exceptional. Check in was very quick, and the desk staff was friendly and very helpful with information. Room was very large, queen size bed, great view, kept very clean, and the bathroom had a jucuzzi tub which for me was an added bonus, especially after all the walking along the stip, shops, site seeing tours, etc. Pool and Spa area was excellent, great service from the bar staff, and very relaxing to spend a quiet day by the pool having a few drinks in the sun.

Clean Hilton-style. Quiet, comfortable. Free Parking. Too much cigarette smoke in public areas. Improve Ventilation. Good location off-strip. Rooms were clean and quiet. My room had a non-working desk lamp, but everything else was fine. Internet is available but not free, about a $20/day charge. Free parking is available, but only far to the north side of the hotel. Room-wise, we were happy with the size, cleanliness, and niceties. Rooms come with a newer LCD TV. Channel selection was limited, but fine. The pool was also not functioning at the time we were staying there.

The Las Vegas Hilton met all our needs for a great weekend in Las Vegas. Great room (clean, large, nice view), food at their restarants in house was wonderful, and the casino was one of the cleanest we visited. Also the service for drinks at their casino was good. The staff at the Hilton (check-in, room, maintenance, and check-out) was great!! There was more to see and do than we had time for not only in Las Vegas, but also right at the hotel, so we are hoping to be able to go back.

Comfortable room. Slight smoky smell. Direct access to the monorail makes it accessible to strip attractions. Convenience to the monorail saved cab fares. The restaurant choices were mediocre and buffet poor quality. We went elsewhere to eat. The location is north of the main attractions in Vegas it is conveniently located for easy access to the monorail. The intimate Shimmer Caberet theatre was a perfect place to enjoy their Menopause show. The spa and gym facilities are modest but very clean with a very attentive staff and enough luxury to provide that ahhh" feeling.

Morning of my check out, an in house group was waiting for the buffet line to open.(700AM) I didn't see getting 'in and out' in an hour possible. Next time I'll stay on the strip where I can walk to the another property when lines or long and time is short. Room was near elevator shaft.(#2456) Noisy. I had a great view; however, the curtain was broken and I couldn't open. Bathroom vent fan was broken. No non slip strips in bath tub. I thought the hotel gouged on water. On leaving I had a voucher with Greyline tour.(purchased from Orbiz)The driver seemed annoyed I had not used the first half of voucher when I arrived in Las Vegas.(friends picked me up) I only used the voucher on the trip to the airport upon leaving. Driver said "I DID"T FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS". Further, he commented:" IT WAS A PAIN IN THE BUTT". Otherwise, the ride to airport was timely. However, I will not rely on Greyline for transportation again.

Hotel staff is helpful and informative. Facility is very clean and room was spacious nice. There was no coffee maker in the room and not many channels available on the TV. Nice to have the monorail stop right on the property. Lunch and breakfast buffets were expansive and beautiful - very fresh food and a good value. The Manilow Store is a must see! There are charges to use the Fitness Center. I heard from other Barry Manilow fans that were staying there at the same time that they took bedbugs home. I didn't have that problem at all and never saw any bugs.

The first time I traveled to Vegas a I hated it! Too noisy and overly stimulating to the senses. That time we stayed on the Strip. I liked the Hilton as it was more sedate and much more relaxing. I liked the smaller casino and the dealers were especially friendly and helpful. We ate in all the restaurants there and each meal was very good if not excellent. Our room was beautiful and quiet. The only complaint is $4 for a bottle of water is a little ridiculous. The monorail is the way to get to the strip, don't try to walk. Very convenient, get an all day pass. The pool was beautiful and very relaxing. Would definitely stay again.
