The online travel website was very clear that there was construction going on at this hotel, but the convenience of it overcame any obstacles that the construction might have presented. The room was small but lovely and we were very pleased with the convenient downtown location for the price. Nice room service breakfast.

This hotel is way overpriced for the quality. The rooms were nice but it was a very bad experience. They promised a crib but then couldn't provide one at check in. We were told 3 different times one would be up to the room, but when we went to the front desk they were completely out. The hotel wasn't staffed appropriately for the 4th of July holiday either. The VIP breakfast was a complete joke! Bagels, cold cereal, and a few peices of fruit didn't amount to much. I won't ever stay there again...

We had a good experience. The staff were helpful and even gave us a room overlooking the river for my kids to enjoy. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Parking was of course an issue but that is so most places in Pittsburgh. We only stayed one night but would have liked to stay more and will definately return in the future.

overall the hotel was ok but there r a few things they need 2 work on when we 1st got there there was about 50 other cars in the loading area and there was problems getting in and out of the car and much more but thats just getting starting we stayed on the 4th of july weekend and the elevators sounded like they were going 2 break and stall and the room it was very small and the beds were very bad and the breakfast was awful but on the plus side great hotel decor and staff and great place location wise but i wouldnt suggest a taxi.it eas good location wise and better 4 a business traveler then with families and also the rooms were really quiet!

First off the Employee's are wonderful, the hotel is beautiful but the management is terrible. I surprised my wife by taking her to the place I proposed five years ago. I had it all set up same hotel, same table (Thanks to X, the restaurant manager) and a suite. The night started off bad when after a 15 minute wait in traffic in front of the hotel we found out that their Valet Parking was full. Their response drive two blocks and park it yourself. One women from out of town got so angry that she threw her keys at the Valet and said ""My car is right over there, park it yourself"" After dropping off my wife and finding a garage ($16 for one night) I waited 15 minutes just to check in (Their website says there is a special kiosk that suite guests can check in but I never saw it) When we got to our room the problems started. No soap No Fridge (which they did bring too us) One remote for two tv's (The housekeeper did give us one but it did not work) No robes No Champagne and Strawberries (which were delivered later after 4 phone calls with the front desk) The room looked new but the furniture was scuffed. Now onto dinner This dinner was $70 and it was terrible. The soup was cold. The beef was cold and dry with potatoes so overcooked they looked a dog had relieved himself on the tray. The dessert was the only good thing about the meal (other than the free bottle of champagne our waiter gave us after apologizing repeatedly) My wife and I will NEVER return too this hotel again. To sum up: If you want a beautiful room, great food, Incredible service go to the Omni William Penn!!!

The location was excellent for PNC and Heinz field. Great water pressure in the shower with consistent hot water. Poor lighting in the hallways The hotel does need renovations, carpeting was very thin and had spots on it. Walls are thin, heard entire phone conversations from the person in the next room. Rooms are very small. Bed were comfortable.
