Located 2.5 miles from the Raleigh-Durham Airport, we are also located close to the Research Triangle Park where there are numerous office buildings and industrial parks within a 5 mile radius. We offer a scheduled complimentary shuttle within that 5 mile radius. Major nearby corporations include IBM, Bayer, CropSciences, Cisco Systems, Nortel, GlaxoSmithKline, and BASF. Several shopping centers are nearby including The Streets at Southpoint Mall, Triangle Towne Center and Cary Towne Center. We are also convenient to several entertainment complexes including the RBC Entertainment Area, Alltel Pavilion and the BTI Center. Our property features 249 newly renovated luxury guestrooms. Each king room has a spacious work desk. All guestrooms are equipped with 2 phones, each with 2 lines, voice mail and data ports. Other standard amenities include a hair dryer, coffee maker, and iron and board. We also offer King Suites which have a separate living room that features a wet bar area with microwave and refrigerator. Disliked the room, especially the bathroom. Definitely not a place that I would return to. The room was not clean. The toilet didn't work. The bathroom was in serious need of updating. The closet was broken and I almost injured myself trying to close it. The staff were not friendly. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. I'm only thankful that it was for one night.

Described as "the mansion on the hill", the hotel's exterior was beautiful & charming, w/rockers on the front porch & beautiful landscaping. We went to Raleigh to decide if we wanted to move there, our view from our room was the roof ,full of metal and generators. Overall, we were very pleased with the whole experience from the staff to our room and friendly housekeeping, the only dis-pleasing issue was our view. The location was perfect and all the main roads/highways were easily assessible. We would definitely stay there again.

Most comfortable hotel bed I ever experienced. 11 am checkout unreasonable for a high end hotel but they gave us til noon. Convenient and quiet location. Somewhat small but very comfortable room. In-room coffeemaker. Complimentary local newspaper at the small gift shop near the front desk.

My husband and I stayed here overnight for a romantic night away. The room was clean and cozy and the bed was so comfortable. We ordered a movie that had not even come out on video yet! We also brought a bottle of wine and forgot an opener. We called the front desk and they had one upstairs to us within 5 minutes. The room service was quick and the food was amazing. We will stay here again in the future and will recommend this hotel to everyone we know!
