The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful and cheerful. When we arrived at the hotel, we were two of the most bedraggled looking tourists in the city - sweaty and exhausted from carrying our luggage through the Underground. Despite our looks and young age, we received the most welcoming reception! The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant didn't have very many options, but the food we ordered was good. I was very happy with our choice to stay at the Hilton Islington.

They allowed us to check in before the 3 pm limit and accommodated us with adjoining rooms for our children. Rooms were a little smaller than a US hotel would have been. This is a great location for tourist travel. Lots of places to eat and drink and shop. It's near a tube station too. Very clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Clean, modern, quiet, comfortable, great staff, great neighborhood. No lobby lounge space; on-site restaurant very expensive and ordinary. The Hilton Islington is a terrific find: perched in the heart of a bustling, lively London neighborhood just outside the city center, close to a Tube stop and a big handful of bus routes, and run by pleasant, accommodating personnel. The rooms are average-sized by European standards (small by American ones) but recently renovated and very well appointed with flat-screen TV, in-room coffee/tea/water, iron, and modern bathroom with good water pressure. Some rooms have no view.

It is important to mention that this is a businessman hotel. Breakfast is not included unlike most businessman hotels. Internet is available only via plugin (not Wireless) and cost additional 15 pounds for 24hrs. Local phone calls from the hotel are very expensive. In most business hotels I have been in breakfast was included and wireless internet was free for the guests of the hotel

The breakfast was great. Stayed for business. Was close to the office with several good restaurants nearby. Easy trip on the bus or tube to the office. Great breakfast. Friendly, capable staff. Would be happy to stay there again.

Excellent staff. Air conditioning system in bedrooms. Nice hotel, convenient to shops, restaurants and Angel tube station. Nice rooms. Expensive restaurant (but typical of London hotels). Quiet.

The staff was very helpful, and made us feel at home. There was nothing that I did not like about the hotel. When I visit London next time, I would love to stay at this hotel.
