Location, pool areas and large guest room. Requested a non smoking room and room reeked of smoke. Great location with beautiful grounds, beach and pool areas.

Beautiful room. They charged daily for parking and maid service. Beautiful room, great location. Should they charge $8 a day for parking when the place is nearly deserted in the off-season?

On Ocean - big, spacious Rooms. Under construction, small pools were overcrowded, small bar area. We were placed in a room by the elevator and Ice machine - Had to be the worst located room there. On top of this, there was a furnace in the main bedroom that would not shut off overheating the room. I reported this to be shut off on my way out to dinner - got back from dinner that night and it was still running. It then took 20 minutes for someone to come and manually shut off the gas line to the thing. Very disappointing.

Fabulous room and bedding and fitness room. Construction going on. This was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding was beautiful. The workout facility was wonderful. They had a big plasma TV for viewing with the treadmills. The other treadmills had their own smaller TVs for viewing. There was even fresh fruit and towels for guests in the exercise room. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We originally had a room in the building with construction going on but called the front desk and they quickly moved us to a room in the other building.

Value. Staff. The overall experience was pleasant despite being Hilton Honor Club members, we were told that we might as well not be because they were going to charge us extra for everything that customers that didn't wouldn't be charged for. Very demeaning when there was no reason to be.

Decor, staff and room size. Lack of casual bar. Have stayed at this hotel several times, always had a great time. Rooms are very large and well appointed. We really enjoyed the quiet, exclusive area and the staff was most polite and helpful. This is not a hotel for the "party" crowd, very low key and I appreciate that aspect. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very nice, relaxing vacation.

Excellent beach front location, tasteful room decor and furnishings. Bathroom was updated except for bath tub itself which seemed to be old. Excellent beach front location, room was tasteful in terms of style, bedding and furnishings. There was convenience of extra sink located outside of bathroom, however, bath tub seemed to be old but rest of bath (tile, sink, counter) seemed recently redone. Private balcony was good size with chairs and small table, view can be obstructed depending on what side of building you are located on. Charging $6 for parking I feel is outrageous since there is no other parking options available except for hotel parking lot and I have written to Hilton Hotel corporation to complain about this.

This is really a very nice Hotel in a Beutifull place. Hilton Head is a nice quiet place where you can really relax and forget about everything.The hotel is full of amenities, nice pool, very nice fitness center; good restaurants and plenty space for parking, dought they charge you for it.It was a nice, spacious room very confortable. I really recommend the one that has one bedroom, is bigger and confortable for families.Everything ok, except for the front desk supervisor. Very ungry and displicent young woman.

The rooms were very comfortable and luxurious. The hot tub and pool deck was very clean and elabrate. Excellent access to the beach. Unfortunately you have to pay $8.00 a day for parking at the hotel, but overall it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.

The hotel was clean and very accommodating. There was a moldy smell in the bathroom. This hotel was great, It was a very nice stay, staff was very friendly, room was very nice and clean!

This hotel is very close and offers convenient access to the beach. The hallways are not air conditioned and the rooms are very musty smelling. This hotel is only steps away from the beach and is very family friendly. It offers very nice grounds and 2 pools. My only complaint is that they charge you for parking and the hallways are not air conditioned. The rooms are very musty smelling and the air conditioning in the room did not work that well. They also said they did not allow pets, but I saw many pets there.

The hotel was somewhat difficult to find. I was pleased to have a GPS. The location was wonderful as were the accomodations. The Mid-March weather was a bit cool but perfect for golf. The hotel had a large firepit which we enjoyed. The pools were lovely. Service was good but not extraordinary. The staff was extraordinary. I would have preferred to be there when it was slightly warmer but the island was gorgeous. We loved the signage even though if often made finding shops/stores difficult. Take the Red Trolley Tour if you have nevver been. Book it early as it was filled. The expense was well worth the cost($30) for AARP, AAA, etc but ID must be shown. Hudson's has the best seafood on the island but go early or wait 40 minutes.

After reading the mixed reviews from several travel websites, I knew that my expectations should not be high. So I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The front desk is central to everything and right down the hall from the dining room. It had two computers for internet usage which was free. The dining room had an average buffet for breakfast, and was reasonable at 10.00 a person. The rooms while not spacious, were nice, clean and all the appliances worked. We appreciated the fridge and the hair dryer. The room was clean and had plenty of outlets to plug in phone chargers and whatnot. The common areas could use some cleaning work. We checked in on Thursday night and saw some sandy foot prints in the hall by the door leading to the beach, they were still there on Sunday. It could use some updating but it was perfectly fine for us. The best feature by far was the location- literally right on the beach. There are a few shops nearby that you can rents bikes at pretty reasonably and ride on the beach and some forest paths (that was our favorite experience) I would stay there again, the staff was friendly and the view was gorgeous. But don't take a taxi anywhere they are expensive, the car rental was cheap and right outside the door at Savannah airport fast and easy even at 11pm at night. The tourist outdoor shops were right next door which made buying everything from groceries at piggly wiggly to tee shirts and souvenirs really easy esp really good coffee first thing in the morning.

Room size with presence of refrigerator and microwave; two pools (one for kids and one for adults); active lounge with great band nightly. Maids disturbed us three times prior to checkout asking when we were checking out. The Hilton Oceanfront Resort Hilton Head has a great location nestled deep in a shaded paradise on the beach with access to golf, tennis, kayaking, and biking/walking trails. The guest rooms are newly renovated and spacious with a refrigerator and microwave for added convenience.

It had pretty grounds. There was alot of noise. The room was very loud from noise outside, the tv didn't work properly, the room service was poor, the coffee pot leaked all over the counter, the shower curtian was moldy, the parking lot didn't have lighting so you couldn't see at night.

Wonderful property, very clean and nice. Live music in the outdoor bar. Nothing. This was an excellent property located in a gated area. The rooms were very large and comfortable. We were treated very well by the staff, they made us feel welcome.

unless you see the view, do not pay for oceanview fees; before booking, call to see ALL construction on elevators are done; singles/couples are not isolated from families with young kids... can be a problem; be ready for hidden daily fees not typical of Hiltons... wireless, parking, beach chairs/umbrellas; entertainment only Wed to Sunday; no breakfast given... surprised given daily room costs; 18% tip on most services required; pool side towel service was great
