The view and cleanliness. We found this to be a very attractive and a quite place to stay with beautiful rooms and a wonderful view of the mountains.

The beds had very comfortable mattresses. Location - was not where we thought. Because this hotel is called Biltmore East, we thought it would be closer to Biltmore (in a different location) than it really is. The hotel itself was nice enough, especially if guests don't plan to spend a lot of time in the room. It was clean and bathrooms were nice. For the price, it was very acceptable.

This is an excellent value in today's market. The inn was well-equipped to cater to the traveler, the rooms were clean, the beds comfortable. The staff was responsive and friendly. A newspaper was delivered to one's door each morning. Rooms had refrigerators and microwaves too.

The hotel was great--service was wonderful, proximity to Biltmore is very good (primary purpose for our trip). The hotel is clean as a whistle; our room was even close to the elevators/vending machine area and we heard nothing all night. Bed was fantastic, comparable to Westin's beds. Furnishings/bathroom were up to date; no depressing decorating here! We will definitely return.

This was our second stay at this property. Great hotel, great staff, very pet friendly. Beautiful landscaping. Room ac was loud is our only complaint.

My husband and I stayed here in July 2009. We chose this hotel for its proximity to Warren Wilson College where my husband was attending a conference. We travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels and over the years, have steadily watched the service in big-name hotels go down hill. That said, our expectation upon arriving was fairly low; I just wanted someplace that was clean and safe and affordable. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely landscaping outside and the lobby decor which was a rustic "mountainy" style, with craftsman style furniture. As we waited to check in, the manager of the restaurant greeted us warmly and invited us to come in for supper. All of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, better than any concierge I have ever worked with. The room was clean and pretty, with updated furnishings. Housekeeping did a thorough job each day we were there. We ordered room service on two mornings and the food was very good, if a bit expensive (but no more so than at any hotel). The restaurant has a pretty terrace where you can eat outside. I ate lunch there one day and the service was outstanding. The swimming pool area was spotless and again beautifully landscaped. I also used the small gym, which had about 4-5 pieces of equipment, all of which were working and in good order. They provided free bottled water in the gym. The hotel had wireless access throughout, and a free computer in the lobby. With the great service and convenient location (just off I-40 and about 10 minutes from downtown Asheville), I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff was very friendly & helpfull. The room was very nice & clean. Had a problem that the shower didn't drain well, I told the main desk & it was taken care of before we returned from our outing. Food was excellent in the restaurent. The pool area was taken care of verry well. Nice outdoor furniture around the pool was like new & towels were available pool side. They had music playing at pool side, a nice touch. The views out the front of the hotel was beautiful of the mountians. We would definatly stay here again.
