We enjoyed the lounge with karaoke and the big screen TV & fireplace in the lobby. They need more non-smoking rooms with Jacuzzi's. The hotel overall was great. Theonly downfall for our trip was that we wanted a non-smoking room with Jacuzzi and was not available. We took a smoking room with Jacuzzi and that was the worst mistake we have ever made. The smoke smell was soooo bad that we could not breathe or sleep and was forced to turn the AC on to be able to breathe. The whole entire hallway reaked of smoke. We had to wash our clothing that wasn't worn, and clean the car as well because it left such a stinch in our vehicle through the luggage. We willnever do that again. Not good for someone with asthma!

Renovations are excellent. Did not have room service menus in my room. The service at this hotel was excellent. They provided everything I asked for and took extra steps to make sure I was well taken care of. They are currently renovating so the lobby and elevator areas are little messy. We were lucky enough to stay in an already renovated room. The furnishings were beautiful and the fabrics were cheerful, not at all like a hotel room more like a home away from home. The pillow top mattresses are a nice touch. This was the first trip I have been on where I actually got 2 good nights of sleep.

So clean and spacious and nice! The beds were very comfortable and I loved having so many pillows! The smell of the pool as you entered the lobby was not a favorite thing. This must be a newer hotel since it is so clean and decorated so nicely. It was quiet and close to other restaurants and the interstate. We hope to stay there again as we pass through Asheville!

the king size bed was extremely comfortable. Only cola vending machine on second floor. There was not a snack vending machine on the second floor. The sign and lights on the outside were a nice change from the usual Holiday Inn signs. The lobby was very nice as well as the staff. It was a little hard to exit the parking lot on to the main road due to a large hill; however, overall, this was a very pleasant hotel to stay in.

The room was very nice, beds very comfortable, glasses instead of paper cups. The website said breakfast was included, that there was a fitness and business center and the hotel had none of the above. Great room, pool and hot tub nice.

The first room we were given was a lobby facing room with a balcony. We could clearly hear the noise in the nearly empty lobby during the day and were afraid we wouldn't be able to sleep that night (the lobby has a restaurant, bar, seating area and television). We asked for another room and were given an outside facing room with an air conditioning unit so loud it was impossible to sleep. My daughters bed also had a huge dip in the middle that was very uncomfortable The hotel was full so we were unable to get another room. When asked to speak to a manager in the middle of the night we were told that the manager couldn't be bothered at night and we would have to wait until the morning to speak with him. When asked in the morning to speak to the manager we were told they would try to get in touch with him and call us later.The front desk clerk we dealt with was difficult, but she did get in touch with the manager and told us they would not refund any of our stay and the manager would get back with me some time Monday. I was able to get hold of the customer service representative but never the manager.After leaving several messages I still have not spoken with management.Between the missing management, the rude front desk clerk and the lack of sleep I am very disappointed in my stay and will hesitate to stay at another Holiday Inn in the future.

Just off I-26 and I-40, this hotel has been completely updated. Family enjoyed the heated pool. Had entertainment the night we stayed in their lounge. Buffet a deal at $6.95. Will definitely stay here on the way back through town.

This hotel would have been perfect except for the noise. The room we were in and several others faced the lobby and direct from the lobby is the lounge where they have karoke until about midnight. If you are a person that likes to party while away then this will not be a problem. Other than that the room was great. It was very clean and roomy. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and responsive.

Nice pool and hot tub - 3 elevators, great, friendly staff. It was nice. I would go back here unless I could afford to stay at the Biltmore or Grand Park Inns.

Good location, reasonable cost. This hotel is currently undergoing extensive renovations, which we were not aware of ahead of time. This hotel is pretty standard fare for a Ramada. The room was clean, but overall nothing special. The facility is definitely showing its age in some places, hopefully the extensive renovations currently in progress will help. We did not go to the restaurant or use the pool.

Perfect wireless connections. Free parking. None. Very clean hotel with a pool and sauna. Great staff and easy access to interstate.
