Ours was an excellent experience! The rooms were extremely clean, the staff was great and very friendly and accommodating! We would most definitely stay at this hotel location again!

Very friendly staff and nice big clean lobby. A bit noisy. We were in town for one night and this hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and when we had noise issues from our neighbors at night, they immediatly sent someone up who took care of it. The breakfast nice and even toward the end of the breakfast time was still fully stocked. Very pleasant stay.

We stayed here over the holiday for the 4th of July. I liked coming back from Charleston and having the peace and quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was better than I expected. Nice and spacious and the beds very comfortable. The room had a small refrig, microwave and coffee pot. The bathroom was nice and big with a double vanity. I definately would recommend it for a charleston stay. We saved money on the motel and had extra to spend on activities!

Hotel was clean and the front desk friendly. I would have to say it was about a 20 min. drive though to the downtown area. Also, the description said it was near the airport which is about 10 min. away, not at that exit Also, although there were fast food nearby, next door and up and down the street , nice sit down restaurants were about a 10 min drive.. Beds were comfortable. I liked also that there were your choice of firm or soft pillows that were marked by the pillowcases on the bed and your get 4 pillows per bed.

This hotel is fantastic. Great/friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure our stay was great. Our 13 month old daughter needed some juice in the evening and the attendant at the front desk went out of her way and unlocked the juice machine in the breakfast area and got us some juice. The hotel was clean and in a great location, just minutes away from an awesome water park. This hotel is about 10-15 minutes from downtown charleston so you are getting a cheaper rate than staying in town yet close enough to be there in minutes. There was a security guard walking around in the early morning hours but the hotel is in a safe area. The parking lot is well lit. Gas stations and fast food places right next to hotel. Overall pleased with the hotel, staff and location. Would recommend to anyone.

My family & I stayed one night to attend a special event in Charleston. I have stayed in many hotels etc in my lifetime and this HI Express ranks at the top considering price and amenities. At arrival I was pleasantly surprised at the warm greeting by the front desk staff as well as the front desk staff upon leaving. The room was immaculate, the bedding with pillows marked "firm and soft" (never experienced this before); embrodered towels in bath no less. Cleanliness and friendliness and very well appointed/coordinated room decor deserves a four star rating. Finally the "breakfast-room" and food also deserves a high rating.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. This hotel was very clean and offered a washer and dryer on site. This was very convenient since my stay was for seven days. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. It is located near close enough to the Air-Base and still close enough to visit down-town.
