Clean, good location. Very small rooms, but in New York we never stay in the room much.

For the price, it was a very small room. I know that the price is based on location so I can't really complain about that. The staff was awesome. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The only complaint I have is that I beleive our room had bed bugs! On the first night we killed a little reddish brown bug on the bed but no one thought anything of it. 24 hours later I had these welts on my arms and it itched sooo bad. I thought that the sweater I had worn made me itch. More welts showed up, usually in a row of three, sounds weird I know. Anyway, I really didn't pay attention, except for the itching of course until we got home Sunday night. I mentioned it to a friend who said that it sounded like bed bugs! I went straight to GOOGLE.COM and sure enough, a picture of the little reddish brown bug that I had killed, or at its cousin, flashed up there on the screen!!! It also said that if you happen to get bed bugs bites, they are usually seen in a group or row of three bites. They callled this "breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!!" You know, I never found the time to tell the hotel or email them or anything. My bad with that. And the hotel seemed really really clean. I really have no other complaints about it. I will be leary about hotel rooms etc.. now though!!!

We were very disappointed that the roomwas so small. You could barely walk between the beds and the TV. We had to call three times for 2 days to get washclothes. They never left enough towels. The coffee pot did not work and there was no coffee the first day we were there. We will not stay at this hotel again!!!!!!

Terrific location near Penn Station, and reasonable price. Typically small room, but very clean. Breakfast with an ample buffet, but the space is inadequate to handle the number of guests, so be prepared to wait for a table. Excellent and very patient concierge, who is very helpful.

The location was excellent and the price was right. I have nothing bad to say about the hotel. The hotel was clean, efficient and well located in NYC.

The complimentary breakfast added value to our stay. I was impressed with the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable place to stay while visiting NYC.

Free breakfast. Very convenient. Hotel location seemed unsafe at night. Very dark street before main street. Rooms are small, although free breakfast compensated for that. Wouldn't be my first recommendation, but also wound't mind having to stay there again.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed. The rooms were nice and up to date, the beds were quite comfortable and offered pillows of various firmness. I even sort of felt like i was sleeping in my own bed. The bathrooms were super clean and large. I myself need to have a clean washroom in order to have a good stay and this bathroom met my standards. The shower was big, nothing too cramped so i cant complain. The location of this hotel was also convenient. It was walking distance to 34th street, macy's, theater district, time square..perfect location. If you say on 8th street and walk up you will find everything you need. At night, I say past 11ish i probably woudnt roam down certain street but if you are in a group then you should be fine. The breakfast they offer is pretty good for being free. All you need was a coffee and a bagel. This was an excellent hotel and i would definitely say again. This hotel definitely helped makae my NYC trip amazing...

The hotel was super. When we arrived we asked for 4 extra pillows and towels and they had them to us in about 5 minutes. The air conditioning worked, the heat worked, the shower worked-it was great. The only thing that might make life easier is the breakfast buffet room-it was a bit tight fitting but the breakfast was great and we can't wait to stay there next year.

My boyfriend and i decided to run up to nyc for the weekend and booked this hotel 2 days before our trip. when we arrived, we were very surprised by the hotel. for the price it was great. the room was small, but comfortable and clean. the desk staff were friendly and we were actually able to check in a few hours early. the next morning, the complimentary breakfast was fantastic! eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bagels, english muffins, juice, coffee, fruit, etc. may more than we expected. it's also very close to madison square garden, and down the street from chelsea. and not a far walk from time square. on my next trip to nyc, i will definitely be staying here.

Stayed for 3 nights and had a great time! We arrived to New York by train to penn station. The hotel is a very short walk from the station which was very convenient. Room was very clean and the beds are awesome! More comfortable than my own bed at home although they are doubles not queens. Breakfast was very good and helped to save money because New York City is very expensive! We pretty much walked everywhere from here. Great location and great price! I have stayed at much more expensive hotels in New York and this was comparable.

Location and cost. I selected this hotel based on its location and cost of the room. The building is two years old. The room was small but adequate for my needs. Included breakfast better than I expected. I would stay here again.
