Location. Noisy. We got a room that was joined to another and therefore we heard everything next door. Had to call front desk twice and finally had security come but the noise continued. Front desk offered to give us another room but who wants to move at 2 in the morning. TV didn't work very well. Could only get some channels. TV remote didn't work very well either. Restaurant offered an excellent buffet.

Good size pool, children ate breakfast free from a menu. Used it to ski at Horseshoe Resort about 1/2 hour north on highway 400. Close to downtown Barrie's restaurants. Nice brkft buffet - children ate free if they ordered off the menu.

My fiance and I stayed here for a romantic night. Barrie was a stop on our summer vacation and we will definitely return. The staff was so friendly and recommended so many spots to visit when we return for a longer time. I wish we had known how nice it was because we would have stayed longer. We will be back!!

We stopped at this hotel at 1:30 am with a very unhappy one-year-old. Check in was smooth and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable with quality linens and updated decor.

Heated bathroom floor. Uneasy access to carry luggage to our room. It seems like we were put in the oldest part of the hotel. All the rooms to the right are being completely refloored. I didn't like the idea of being sent to the old part of the hotel and very inconvenient to get to the inside pool. No elevators in the lobby to take us to our room and no elevator to take you to the pool. I would not want to stay again in those conditions.
